Does anyone notice that Nigeria has NEVER generated or distributed anything beyond 6000 megawatts? It has always fluctuated between 2000 and 6000 megawatts, government after government -FOR DECADES. Despite all the grammar, the more things change, the more they remain the same. So when next they come with all the grammar, don't raise your hopes because you should know that they are lying. |
Rivers state elder statesmen have finally decided that enough is enough. They have removed Wike's mouth from River state breast, and he has at least 8 years of wailing coming. Isn't God amazing? |
When they landed and shouted "Halleluyah" together, I felt something sweet in my stomach. |
genkins:I don't know where to start to address your views above... honestly... Did you say "you lose moral value(sic)" when ... Look, in politics generally there are little or no moral values . And I mean the world over. Politics is a very dirty game(which is why people like me would NEVER contest for any elective position). When Tinubu told his supporters to "grab it and run with it", he was actually espousing a common norm among politicians. And guess what, he is the president today, and is already deciding the destiny of 230 million people, most of who never voted for him. You can sermonize all you like, he is your president. He is Peter Obi's president. Did you also say that "we are not ready to take back our country?" Nigerians have been ready at least since ENDSARS. Where do you think Peter Obi's supporters emerged from? They are Nigerian youths who led and drove the only legitimate revolution in Nigeria's history. But guess what? The people who massacred them at the Lekki Toll gate re-strategized and outwitted them in the elections, and I argue because they (Nigerian youths) are clueless about the nature of the beast they were fighting. One man single-handedly rigged both the electoral commission, the judiciary, and all other state agencies that would have ensured that votes counted. And votes didn't count in the end. FACT. If you had "gone to the streets" as you allude, they would have killed more than they did at the Lekki toll gate, and nothing would have happened. But most importantly, where is the sudden near-total support for Tinubu in South west is coming from? It is coming from the same place that ensures that no revolution can ever succeed in Nigeria. That place is called TRIBALISM. As for coups... all I know is that the worst military leader Nigeria had made sure that the Naira exchanged for N80/$ throughout his term. Our Naira is above N1000/$ today under people we never voted for. Had Peter Obi outrigged these thieves, who knows. Maybe he would have done things differently to improve your lot. Finally, forget future elections because the current INEC chairman is still there to begin with. Madness is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Sorry for the long post, but I had to cover important points. |
make I take seat. |
genkins:Of course I know. But the question is HOW DO YOU BECOME A NIGERIAN PRESIDENT? Is it by playing it his way or by playing it "Nigerian way"? We now know for sure that playing it his way leads to failure in the Nigerian jungle system. If he wants to really help Nigerians, he needs to out-rig the others and win. After that he can implement his change agenda. That is the core idea. |
Every idiot and his dog now want to insult and ride Peter Obi to fame. All failed "revolutionaries" in Nigeria now see insulting Peter Obi as means to fame. One day, Peter Obi will wake up to understand that Nigeria is a jungle, and only jungle methods produce desired results. All the money he has been wasting to do good could have been used to out-rig the mandate thief and gained him desired respect. Even if he wants to do good, he should wait till after defeating others in the art and science of rigging., and gaining office. Peter Obi must go to the school of Machiavelli by force. ![]() |
fkelly: ![]() But if not for the LOVE I have for Jesus Christ, I would have seriously advocated for Igbo to convert massively to Islam. Though I always laugh every time I see Igbo Muslim names like "Adulkadir Onyeama" ![]() Sounds like chimera of sorts. ![]() If I ever convert to Islam, my Islamic name would be total: Something like Mustapha Usman. ![]() By this act alone, we neutralize all conspiracies against Igbo. ![]() |
helinues:But he learned from the best. Newton's Third Law of Motion: "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." |
vanitybutiwanti:All I'm really saying, and committed to saying is this: FEAR ANY MAN SITTING IN A GOVERNOR'S SEAT IN NIGERIA. That's all. Until he is out of that seat, don't sleep yet if you are one of his political enemies. ![]() |
@Objectivist04 BTW what I just described above is the ORIGINAL version of the practice, or a close derivative of it in Igboland. These days, people do whatever they want: for example they may shun it entirely due to westernization, but then the underlying issues/problems/questions remain. What I want people to constantly ask themselves is this: WHY IS WICKEDNESS INCREASING IN OUR SOCIETY THESE DAYS. It definitely wasn't this bad in the decades past. Why is it that the more we shun these cultures, the more lost we get as a people? When Nnamdi Kanu said that black people don't reason - this type of deep questioning and deep reflection (what we call "igba oririri" in my version of Igbo language) -that is what he was referring to. If a widow is still sexually active or attract; she will have sex. Is it better that she does it with outsiders or with her husband's sibling? Ancient Igbo solved this question, but latter day Igbo want to reinvent the wheel and wallow in the wilderness, hence multiplication of wickedness in our land. |
Objectivist04:You are mixing things up and getting more confused and aloof of the core issue. I would ignore your implied insult because of your ignorance and you sound like a kid, frankly. To the issue: What happened in this instance is a convergence of two cultures on the same practice (Igbo and Yoruba). That is why they did it this way. In pure Igbo version of the practice, she would stay put in her husbands house till death whether her husband's siblings took over her or not. If she had male children, she may not even need to remarry (though she would be wise to do so for MANY REASONS, e.g if her kids are still small, they need protection, etc) her husbands sibling. If she had no male children, same applies except that upon her death, the lands reverted back to her husbands siblings. In Igbo version of the practice, a token of "bride prize" is still paid by the new husband. etc. (maybe that is even what Prof Akeredolu is even doing in this instance). Press people can give wrong information. As for Bianca, first of all she had male children for Ikemba and has every right to NOT remarry any of his siblings (per Igbo version of this culture), and her property rights are intact including rights of succession (her male children inherited their father's lands etc). |
vanitybutiwanti:@Bolded: I agree that the man doesn't look confident and fearless... But I fear men like that more, because you don't see them coming for your throat. Men like that are the most deadly. |
@Objectivist04 Your views here shows that Igbo culture is indeed endangered. Seriously endangered by loud and ignorant Igbo like you. It is endangered by people like you who are boldly and loudly promoting wrong versions of Igbo culture. And your numbers (people like you) are increasing daily, causing serious erosion of Igbo culture with your ignorant forceful information campaigns. If you don't know, why not ask or be humble enough to learn from others who actually know? When was the last time you visited your village (if you are really Igbo) and sat down with knowledgeable people in your clan or village and engaged them in serious conversations concerning these things? Levirate Marriage is at the core of Igbo culture. With the coming of the Europeans and their version of marriage, it started to be fought by the church and others, and has been on the decline ever since. But that hasn't changed the fact that it is a culture as old as the Igbo. What annoys me is that wickedness is increasing in our land because we ignore these OLD and proven cultural practices, and wonder why wickedness is increasing. Any society that fails to HONESTLY address the issue of marriage and sex only gets more and more wicked and dysfunctional. So, please I beg you, stop and ask questions. |
Field him as APC presidential candidate first then you will know... But I know that the same you that trumpet and celebrate him today will call him IPOB and dump the party once he emerges. No be today. All I know is that any Igbo man that wants to be president of Nigeria should graduate from the school of Machiavelli first. I honestly don't think that Peter Obi would make a good "Igbo president" like Emilokan is making a good "Yoruba President" today. The only APC Igbo person that I can trust to do like Emilokan is the midget called Onwa Anambra state. He has the brains and the guts to do right for the Igbo and by extension Nigeria. The Umahis will throw Igbo interest under the bus while trying to please Igbo haters. The Obis will throw Igbo and their babies under the train to please others. Surprised by this my analysis and belief? Don't be. I only supported Peter Obi because at least he would try to fix Nigeria even if he ignores Igbo. At least a functioning Nigeria would in the end benefit (or even favor) the Igbo. Na true talk be dis. |
What are they talking about? FACT: "She was handed over to Prof Akeredolu" ... For what reason then? For the Prof to keep her as trophy? Too much education can be dangerous sometimes. lol What I know is that Igbo (and I suspect some Yoruba) practice Levirate marriage (whereby a brother takes over the wife of a late brother). Ain't nothing wrong with that. Nothing to be ashamed of and nothing to speak long grammar about. |
Danmisra:YES, the Lord himself. In the ministry of Jesus Christ, he was always looking after the poor and needy. These churches have zero tolerance for poor people. Go to any of these churches and tel them you want them to be feeding the poor every week and see if they won't laugh you out of their premises. Can the poor afford any of their universities? The thing is that there were "churches" like these in the time of Jesus and they were called SCRIBES AND PHARISEES. Jesus had a running battle with them throughout his ministry and life on earth, even till they killed him. Jesus called them "whited sepulcher". Jesus captured the whole thing in his parable of the "Good Samaritan". There are no good Samaritans among these latter day churches. |
bjdon:Truth. Thanks for speaking the truth. |
Last but certainly not the least: He noted that Wike’s excesses, inconsistencies and hallucinations had reached a shameful peak and advised him to face his job in Abuja as the state was not missing his presence and nuisance value. The operative (keyword) here is that Rivers state does not miss nWike's "NUISANCE VALUE". EOD. |
Shot Number 3 (Knockout shot): Does he want us to perpetually be at political war with everybody, even long after elections are over and governance taken over? Is it not madness?” Omehia queried.Every Nigerian is now coming to the same conclusion that nWike is a raving lunatic with ZERO POLITICAL VALUE. Baba Emilokan will soon be bitten by the rabid dog. Just watch out. |
Shot Number 2: “Wike is notorious for lying against anyone, anytime and disrespects elders at will, so there is no surprise about his outburst and criticism against innocent personalities in Rivers State.nWike is a LYING MACHINE. He lies like a mudafker. And he is totally Machiavellian. A sociopath, so to say. He doesn't care who he betrays so long as he stays in power somehow. The best punishment to hand to a person like that is to remove him from power. Once out of power, watch as he returns to his old self of a sniveling coward. |
Shot number 1 (killer shot): Reacting, Omehia described Wike’s uncontrolled outbursts as product of a confused mind, saying Wike’s anger was that his ambition of a 3rd tenure has crashed and the people of Rivers State have realized that his quest for power is personal and not for the interest of Rivers State or the South-South at large as claimed.Yep, his quest for power is/was ALWAYS PERSONAL. He hides under "fighting for his people" but in actual fact he is fighting for power: PERSONAL POWER. He has hurt so many people that he is frightened of leaving power. And for that, he would sell even his own mother. To dine with that guy, you should use a 10 feet spoon. |
![]() E don dey start. I would cite Omehia's keywords that nWike should chew on as warning shots. |
Yet there is: No 24/7 electricity. No security. Wickedness multiplying exponentially everyday. Nigerian youths are fleeing the country to anywhere but Nigeria. In a certain country where there are few of "pastors", they feed the poor every week on their church premises. Just come and eat food if you can't afford food. No evidence these Nigerian churches ever dream of such philanthropy. I keep saying it that if Jesus were to show up today in one of these Nigerian churches disguised, they would not allow him to preach even once, talk less of making him a "pastor". |
@OP they will attack you without providing any serious counter-argument. I was in Nigeria a few years ago and one of my kids got sick, and had to be taken to a " hospital". Mehn ... if not for the grace of God my child would have died there. Every nurse and doctors there were so unprofessional and callous and nobody cared. It was all blase. NOBODY CARED. One child died there while these buffoons that pretended to be healthcare professionals behaved as if nothing was urgent or serious. In civilized countries, each healthcare professional works with serious fear because the hospital would be sued out of existence for poor work that lead to deaths. Not in Nigeria. I promised myself that I would pick a scapegoat one of these days and sue them to oblivion even if for the heck of it. Just the thought of these people not sleeping well due to the legal wahalla they would be fighting would be enough satisfaction for me. I just dey wait for my perfect scapegoat. Nigeria is a very very very wicked country, but the people helped to crate such satanically wicked society. The people can still change it. But to change it, the people need to embrace light and shun darkness. Nigeria is the only county I know where darkness is the norm. All other countries fight darkness even if they don't succeed totally. They at least try. So, OP, I don't know whether your allegation is true, but it feels true, because far worse things happen in Nigeria. |
Chukwudi4naija:Nope, I am a man. Here's the way infants like you should reason: It is YOUR FAULT FOR PICKING A WRONG WOMAN TO BEGIN WITH. By the time you get to the stage of running around conducting paternity test, it is TOO LATE. YOU married the wrong woman! If you were a real man, you would take responsibility for picking the wrong woman, and leave the innocent child alone. You lick your wounded sexual ego, and move on... A real man takes time to pick a woman that really loves him. Not one bought with money and influence. A real man NEVER gets a woman to marry him by all means, and when she later cheats, starts weeping and punishing an innocent child. I have seen lots of times men CAPTURE women with wealth, profession, position, etc and chasing them down and snatching them from their poorer true loves and marrying them. I see that ALL THE TIME. There are some women out there that are not even supposed to marry at all, but some men would rather die than leave them alone. But when she now behaves true to her type, the hurt man takes it out on an innocent child. If I had my way I would make it that once you marry a woman, you MUST accept her child whether you like it or not. ![]() Next time if you see a woman in love with another man, you avoid her like plague even if you are Dangote. ![]() In my part of Igboland we say "ife adi eme na nkiti" (which means nothing happens without reason). Now you know that I am the type of a man you can never be in this your current incarnation. ![]() |
It will be rigging galore in 2027. Tinubu will learn then that rigging is an art, and he is definitely not the most talented in that art in Nigeria. The most talented rigger will "win". Free and fair elections died in 2023 presidential elections. |
oglalasioux:Fair point. @Bolded: I leave it at that because it answers the question of "what about the innocent child?". For me, people destroy children for sake of sexual ego. Forget about all these rants about "paternity fraud", IT IS ALWAYS ABOUT SEX. Folks can't imagine their wife being pummeled by another man. And so innocent kids pay for such male hurt. Funny thing is that most people that say this never put themselves in the child's shoes. I take a 360 degrees view of life before taking position on things like this. Peace. |
evictor305:And to answer this question, you destroy the life of an innocent child that calls you "Daddy"? Do you have a child bro? Cos if you do, you would understand... I have kids, and they love me to the moon and back. And then suddenly one satanic day, I call one and say I'm sorry I'm not your dad? Jesu. Nna, I don't know about you, but the bond between a REAL father (not sperm donor o) and a child is STRONG and UNBREAKABLE. To be real father takes more than ejaculating into a woman's orifice. And it is certainly bigger and stronger than a man's ego. Or at least it should be. |
There is a lesson in this Ojukwu story, and luckily his father Sir LPO Ojukwu saw it all. That lesson has been learned by most Igbo top rich men these days and they would never repeat it. What is the lesson? That Nigeria is a FREE MEAL that you would be foolish not to partake in on moral grounds. I stopped supporting Biafra after I came to this realization. The smartest thing to do in Nigeria is to join the feeding frenzy, and out-hustle everybody by any means necessary. You saw how Emilokan did it? Igbo should stop being moralistic in Nigeria, talking about fairness and equity which is what obsessed Ekwueme to create "South south", and today some people there still hate Ekwueme and his people. Had Ekwueme left things the way they were and use his old connections in the North to join the feeding frenzy, an Igbo person would have been president since. I support that Nnamdi Kanu be released. But I would NEVER again support Igbo leaving Nigeria, at least not as long as there is loot to partake in looting. Nigeria has almost limitless resources to loot: natural resources and human resources. Why not Igbo use their God-given brains to garner as much loot as they can in Nigeria? Why all these useless moralistic wars that get us nothing more than hate from others? Makes no sense to me mehn. |
So quick? Never knew that dispensation of justice in Nigeria can be this quick. |
Thephilosopher1:Most "men" here can't understand you. lol Notice that I put quotes around "Men". Like you, I'm definitely not supporting any woman cheating on her husband. But what baffles me most is how a man can wake up one day to look a child in the eyes that loved and only knows him as "Dad", and give that child away to another man on the basis of DNA. That child would be psychologically and spiritually destroyed for life, no matter what. A lot of people adopt children these days and expect the children to love them, and most times, they do. What is really underlying on these tests is MALE EGO. Some men so much lack self confidence that they would destroy their families owing to such things. I keep reverting (and preferring) to old Igbo beliefs about such things. In old Igboland, the only certain biological parent is the mother. The MARRIED woman's child belongs to her husband regardless of paternity. Most men that fear their wives fidelity (and hence obsess over DNA) are themselves the most unfaithful. For every one child born by an unfaithful wife, her husband has at least three (I'm making up the numbers, but you get the point). |
