One of the earliest demands of the CJN,Tanko Mohammed, appointed by Buhari, was for Islamic sharia criminal laws be included in Nigeria's Constitution.
Buhari became a political icon for the 12 northern Nigeria sharia states after his Kaduna vow, and started to win millions and millions of votes in the sharia states thereafter.

This is the question a normal court manned by normal judges should have asked the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu.

The way out now is for the Supreme Court to REVIEW its judgment on Nigeria's last presidential election petition.
