AlexBells:
Is like Aboki don finally hack statisense. Aboki and South West now na core enemy, dem dash south south 1 state, dash south east 1 state, and erased south west from the database lol
Worse is that most of the people of the old SW and SE regions don't understand that Northern soldiers who created the 36 states denied the two old southern regions commensurate number of states. The states were proliferated in the Arewa region to suck up oil proceeds to the old Northern region.
There should have been equal number of states between the three regions that formed Nigeria in 1960.
Land mass or population figures is NEVER used as yardstick to create new federal units in a country formed by different regions.
Proliferated states in the old Northern region tipped the balance of political power to excessively favour Arewa.
Politics › Re: Top 10 States With The Best Infrastructure In Nigeria (statisense) by onuman: 1:28am On Feb 19, 2024
The states are mostly from the Northern region. Too many unreserved states were littered all over the far north to suck oil revenues to the north. That gave rise to emergence of once rural villages in the far north as modern cities with modern infrastuctures from oil revenues; but the once developing cities in the south denied state status shrinked.
Politics › Re: Naira Floating by Tinubu was Ill-advised-Atiku by onuman: 1:23am On Feb 19, 2024
Atiku, the man, Tinubu, wouldn't have become president if you had not emerged and bought the presidential ticket of PDP in 2023 because of your distaste for possible emergence of a president from the SE region of Nigeria.
All your presidential election struggles have been for apex political leadership of Nigeria to remain in the hands of your Fulani ethnic group.

Tufiakwa. What is good in a Foreign exchange policy if it brings grinding poverty to the masses?

Not surprised. This is coming from the most senseless ethnic bigot to ever emerge from the SW region of Nigeria.
Politics › Re: My job, The Second Most Difficult on Earth - CBN Governor, Cardoso by onuman: 1:13am On Feb 19, 2024
But why don't you resign from the most difficult job on earth?

Tinubu, your boss, is a man without political conviction, no bearing in politics. Because Tinubu is a man who traversed the length and breath of his SW region for about 12 years asking for political restructuring of Nigeria, but in 2014, he formed a political alliance with Buhari who led a section of Nigeria that refuses political restructuring of Nigeria.

Mention any country in the world where governors have immunity and state police joined together.

You can never give a governor state police and immunity at the same time or most of you will regret later.

If they love NIGERIANs so much, let have the state police and let's remove their Immunity so that NIGERIANs can challenge their actions with power.

This is how most of you were shouting for State independent electoral commission and you have also seen its results after some years now.

I always wonder how this politicians beat you people in this game.
Owing to long encumbered education system of Nigeria. level of understanding diminished among too many Nigerians.
They can't think of the ulterior motive behind northern Nigeria acquescing to state police now, after more than 50 years that the North objected to state police?
Pushing 'repentant Boko Haram into the armed forces for Jihad did not yield the desires of the political and religious leaders of the far northern Nigeria 12 sharia states.
It's now to have ISIS fighters train the sharia states police for invasion of the southern regions to hoist the flag of Islamic Republic of Nigeria.

What did you all think was going on then?
Passing the buck, blame game and shifting responsibilities.
The time people were buying Naira with Naira, were prices of goods extraordinary as they are under Tinubu? No.

No comment ; next question.
Students loans are actually paid direct to the institution, but who knows if this one will not be a ploy to siphon funds?

You make it sound like all it takes to conquer Nigeria is state police... If it was that easy, ISIS would have taken over Nigeria to sell oil like they did in Syria.

Someone pointed out (here on Niaraland a week ago) that most terrorist are now bandits trying to make money. They are not looking for a fight, they are looking for victims. They don't want to go to heaven, they want to enjoy their ransom here on
earth.

Even 18 years old local boys, if given weapons would eliminate any foooqin invaders/terrorist for fun/adventure.
Amend the constitution to get true and fiscal federalism which includes State Police.
If true and fiscal federalism are not brought to operate in Nigeria but unitary government system still in place, while State Police comes to be, it's like using oil proceeds to finance Jihadists hiding under state police of the 12 Sharia states to take over all of Nigeria.

Boko Haram or bandits already infiltrated the military... The current system is not working and there is need for experimentation.

I don't know how a so called "Shari'a police" would come to somewhere like Benue, Imo or Lagos to defeat their own state police. They would have something they are not used to; RESISTANCE.
Yes. Well armed Sharia police supported by crack foreign Islamic fighters like the ISIS fighters, can conquer the whole of Nigeria in one sweep.

Why had Arewa refused State Police all the years but now that Nigeria has been weakened? See their motive for State police now.- for Islamic Republic of Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Senate Says It Is Ready To Amend Nigerian Constitution To Okay State Police by onuman: 7:29am On Feb 18, 2024
"....if the decentralisation of the security system would end insecurity."------President Bola Tinubu.
If? So before embarking on this State Police thing, the president is not sure insecurity can be arrested through State Security.

Be sure: under state police, Islamic Republic of Nigeria flag shall be hoisted over Nigeria.

The Sharia states will hide under State Police to import hardened ISIS Jihadi fighters and train local Islamists for a Jihad against rest of Nigeria. The divided armed forces cannot succeed in fitting them off.
Sani Yerima as gov of Zamfara state introduced sharia criminal laws to Northern Nigeria. It spread like wild fire in all the other 11 states.
Sharia wars broke out. A BBC female Reporter asked Sani Yerima if he didn't believe that his sharia criminal laws he introduced could leas to break up of Nigeria.
Since then, Islamists from the sharia states in high government positions have not hidden their intentions for an Islamic Republic of Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws.
Politics › Re: Senate Says It Is Ready To Amend Nigerian Constitution To Okay State Police by onuman: 7:01am On Feb 18, 2024
STATE POLICE, ANOTHER PLOY TO STRENGTHEN BOKO HARAM.
The 12 Sharia states of northern Nigeria can hide under state police to import arms and foreign fighters, train local Islamists for a Jihad, to impose Sharia criminal laws upon all Nigeria.
Under Obasanjo government, political and religious leaders of the far north states adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal laws.
Islamic sharia criminal laws include stoning blasphemous person to death, cutting the hands of thieves, stoning women to death for adultery.
Muhammadu Buhari in 2001 in Kaduna declared that he would not stop until Islamic sharia criminal laws are applied in all the states of Nigeria. Immediately after the declaration, he became capable of winning millions and millions of votes in presidential elections in the sharia states.
Without resistance from soldiers from some sections of Nigeria, Boko Haram fighting for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws, would have taken over all Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Senate Says It Is Ready To Amend Nigerian Constitution To Okay State Police by onuman: 6:47am On Feb 18, 2024
Nigeria needs a new constitution and political structure, not only State Police.
The 1999 Constitution was not a contribution by Nigerian people; a few military dictators from one side of Nigeria literally dictated the constitution. Again, the constitution has no referendum that backed it.

Primary? Buhari's or Tinubu's choice as candidate has already been chosen. APC and democratic choice by universal adult suffrage don't go hand in hand.

If Tinubu would fail as president because of spiritual attacks from the opposition; that means he was not prepared before he came out to contest for the office. He should resign or get impeached because of his inefficiency.
Before preparing to contest for president, one must be prepared spiritually and physically.

Like in the war between Boko Haram and Nigeria armed forces.
Too many Nigeria's armed forces personnel train with the army by day time, and relate with Boko Haram, or sabotage the armed forces, by night time.
Millions of Muslims in the 12 sharia states of northern Nigeria sympathize with Boko Haram's objective for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws.

When do you think Nigeria will fall?
Not in the foreseeable future because cheap cash from crude oil in the Niger delta region will flow. The politicians from East, West, North and South of Nigeria will eat cheap cash from crude oil and clutch tight to one Nigeria, form a resemblance to govt to present to the international community that there is a functioning country; even if more than half of the population of Nigeria had starved to death. Oyibo will be in support of Nigeria's existence and may strike against whoever disrupts the existence of one Nigeria even if Nigerians die half a million a day from want and disease.
