The same thing Atiku said when Obasanjo sought for Yar'Adua from the north to replace Obasanjo, instead of Peter Odili who had nobody to beat then in PDP presidential primaries.
Odili had rounded his presidential primaries campaign throughout the 36 states, with no potential strong opposition from the PDP. But a few days to the PDP presidential primaries, like a bolt from the blues, Obasanjo used El-Rufai and then EFCC chairman to do the damage job against Odili. Yar'Adua who never ever sought to succeed then President Obasanjo was invited and endorsed by Obasanjo
Yar'Adua won PDP primaries and won the presidential election.

you wrote that the forthcoming presidential election is between Tinubu and Buhari. You wrote that Tinubu made Buhari president, with the hope that Tinubu would take over from Buhari, but Buhari is fighting agsinst Tinubu's presidential ambition since then.

So when I wrote that Tinubu is not the true presidential candidate in the minds of big APC King makers, why do you doubt that?

EMERGENCE OF THE TALIBAN IN AFGHANISTAN.

VP Osinbajo was carefully sidelined by Nigeria's Islamists who placed Tinubu as the unofficial presidential candidate for APC, but had in mind, Shettima the Boko Haram sympathizer, as the true and official presidential candidate for APC.
The Taliban of Afghanistan started with this method of occupying important government positions in Afghanistan, solidified, and later started to wage Jihad against all of Afghanistan; until the Taliban won the Jihad last year for an Afghanistan to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal laws. Islamic sharia criminal laws include stoning women to death for adultery, stoning blasphemers to death, cutting out the hands of thieves, etc.
Saner Nigerians - non hardliner Muslims and non-Muslims, have started to notice the potential Taliban voyage of Islamic hardliners in APC, hence they are quiting the Muslim-Muslim ticket of APC.

The Counter-statement from APC was needless. Mr Bayo Onanuga the APC spokeperson should always learn to keep his emotion in-check. It is not everything you dish out responds to. Little little things like these piss people off, especially like me. If PDP decide not to respond to the endorsement just like APC. Then the joke is on APC.

Olusegun Obasanjo has the right to endorse anyone or anybody. Terming his endorsement useless is an overdo. It makes no sense. The yorubas and well meaning Nigerians aint complaining. We wish him well. Even though me and my entire household will be voting Asiwaju Tinubu.

You still fall short of Obasanjo's unifying stance if you vote Tinubu for president to succeed President Buhari.
Rotation of the presidency between the regions of Nigeria since 1999 has sustained Nigeria's integrity. It's the turn of the SE to produce a president for Nigeria in 2023. As God would bless it, He produced the most qualified presidential candidate of all from the SE this time.

Rochas who was the only known political figure in APC was thrashed and branded a persona non grata. Now from nowhere, they want the southeast to produce the next president on which political platform? The PDP they wholeheartedly supported since 1999 gave their party ticket to a northerner while the APC they so much hate managed to rally for power to move to the south and all of a sudden "it became the turn of the southeast" because the people in APC are fools right? You guys blew your chances 9 years ago by refusing to align with APC and now you think Tinubu is your problem. You can never reap were you didn't sow. The southeast canceled themselves and they are about to make the same mistake all over again.

About 90% of the politicians from the SW were in a Yoruba party in 1999 when Obasanjo was made president of Nigeria from PDP formed by an Igbo man, Alex Ekwueme and his G34.
The Yoruba never voted for Obasanjo then. It was consideration for zoning that made Obasanjo who was brought out from prison, to win then. Aside that, there are too many Igbo presidential materials who formed APC with Tinubu and Atiku and others.
It's either that some of you Tinubu supporters from the SW lack common sense or ethnic bigotry has becluded your senses.

He withheld federal allocations to Lagos state forcing Tinubu to look inwards and making Lagos a self sustaining state. Lagos has achieved what many states are hoping to achieve through restructuring.

Give Lagos state to even a leper to govern, the leper governor will do good, considering the very high IGR of Lagos State. How much is the total annual Federal allocations to Lagos, compared to its IGR?
FYI, there has not been any governor of Lagos State branded a failure. This is because there are lots of sources in Lagos State to generate high Internal revenue.

Obasanjo is wise. Nigeria's lopsided political structure warranted zoning of the presidency between the north and the south, because without zoning, no presidential candidate from the south can win Nigeria's presidential election if northern region supports a northern presidential candidate.
It's the turn of the SE to produce a president for Nigeria. But Tinubu the ex Drug baron wants to consign zoning to the history books. And if a northerner wins in 2023, Tinubu will resurrect his Oduduwa Republic agitators.

But Obasanjo's tacit endorsement of Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 worked for Onanuga's APC.

You don't know that without zoning of the presidency between the north and the south, no southerner can win Nigeria's presidential election considering the lopsided political structure of Nigeria.
