Other Igbos founded APC with Tinubu and Buhari. Many of those Igbo co-founders of APC are more qualified than Tinubu, to succeed President Buhari.
But your type and Tinubu clutch tight on the fact that more people from the SW than in the SE, voted for Buhari. In no country would that become a criterion to make a Tinubu to succeed President Buhari.
Rotation of the presidency between the north and the south has been the norm since 1999. But Tinubu wants to proscribe Rotation because of his excess greed; forgetting that the SW has had its turn from 1999-2007 through Obasanjo when Rotation made Nigeria to present two Yoruba men as presidential candidates of the two largest political parties.

Tinubu is bound to fail in his attempt to work against Rotation which has been a stabilisation factor for democracy in Nigeria.

Forlorn hope is your Tinubu will win stance. But fact is that Tinubu will not win. A few SW Muslims and ethnic bigots support and may vote Tinubu. Most of the Fulani-led Muslims north are voting Atiku.
The SS can't forget how Tinubu pulled off the rug off the feet of then President Goodluck Jonathan. Jonathan lost.
Tinubu refused microzoning to the SE, instead falsely claim that it's his turn to become president of Nigeria. But it's the turn of the SE to produce president of Nigeria. So, who from the SE, except perhaps, Joe Igbokwe, will vote for Tinubu?

Devil's advocate. You want to make darkness become light. Try a better advocacy. Facts are:
Kabiru Sokoto, the Boko Haram bomb man was arrested in Abuja lodge of Borno state government run by Shettima. How such a wanted person like Kabiru ended up in Borno state government lodge in Abuja after bombing and killing scores of people, mostly Igbos, could only be by support of government officials. Kabiru working without support from some one like Shettima in higher place, could not be so stupid to saunter into Borno state government lodge after such a heinous crime. Was he on picnic?
If it were under Buhari government, Kabiru Sokoto would not have been arrested.

Before the presidential primaries, Tinubu's major campaign trust was that it's the turn of the south to hold the presidency after Buhari.
But if Tinubu continues in the race, and does not stand down for Obi, the north shall retain power, because Obi and Tinubu shall divide the votes of southerners and the Middle Belt for Atiku to win.
