Onyinye2, the reason why spanish is easier is most likely because it isn't a tonal language.

Yeah anyone can say "Por que" or "No puedo" and still get their point across. You tell someone to say the igbo alphabet, and watch them pronounce "a" in their way.

They're that expensive, wow, I think I could take the plunge. I want to be able to speak igbo fluently and I want to start now. Plus the fact that I also want to learn spanish and portuguese, so I've got a lot to do.

Yeah it is a hard language to learn. But it is easier when you have a support system. Mine is my friends and the folks on this thread. But i must admit, learning spanish is way easier than learning igbo. But you will learn. I have faith you will.

Hmmm that is a very common phase. There was a time a would be infatuated with the guys i liked, and when they began to really love me, i couldn't give them that same feeling and i would eventually get bored. Because i saw men as a challenge then people to get involved with. But that was just a phase. When i finally did fall in love with a guy who loved me back, things changed.

Yes they are very expensive here in the states. They go up 120 to 170 here in the states. That is why i got some igbo friends to help me. My parents are little help. They just make fun of me cause i can't pronounce the words right.
