EducationRe: The Nigerian Teacher/Tutor And The Cane by onyinye2(f): 6:45pm On Aug 11, 2008
This is the MAIN reason why I will never allow my kids to school in Nigeria. I rather them school in the States and not fear that they will be cane whipped across the back when they enter school.

But what is wrong with forming an opinion on people if it's informed? Some people think Seun is biased to appoint one muslim moderator for a religious section that is filled with christians, muslims and atheists. Is that judging?
To answer you first question,

Do you enjoy people making judgments on your life?

To answer you second question,

Let me elaborate on my definition on "judging". im talking about forming an opinion on people based on one's belief.
RomanceRe: Woman, Would You Like To Become A Man? Or Vice Versa? by onyinye2(f): 5:51pm On Aug 11, 2008
"your" house is quite the exception. In the house i have seen and including my own, the mother did the most. Yeah we helped out, did what we could, but she still held most of the burden. Both of my parents worked and such. My father cooked only sometimes, while my mom cooked most of the time. My father didn't do much house work, while my mother and us did. He took care of everything else outside the home. But i still know that my mom did the most work. My father is a very caring man and did alot too though so don't get me wrong, but it was my mother would did the most.

My goal here is not to create a thread but imply that everything seems questionable under the christian religion.
If you have a problem with it, then leave. No one is forcing you to be Christian or to believe in Christ. It is a choice.

God is so against it and why would i want to accomodate it or even people that priactise such? God destroyed Soddom because of this.
Let us leave bible out of it, why would a man want to have sex with another man, how sickning could that be, when there are more ladies than men sef.
Because that is HIS choice in life. If he wants to live that life, that is his choice. To i agree with it, not at all, but im not going to judge him for it.

Nor be every time you go dey discuss with these akpakos (nor ask me wetin e mean ooo).
Oh michelin grin

ChinenyeN:
No. I'd never admit to my mother doing most of the work when it comes to the work that my father does. Let me clarify something here. I'm under the assumption that we're discussing what each gender does in general. You seem to be talking about the work they do at home. If that's the case, then I agree that my mother does most of the work (a good 95% at least) in the house. Otherwise, if we compare what my dad does and what my mother does for the family, I'd say that they're about equal.

As for feminism. I know its reality. . . but in reality when it comes to discussing it, the discussion becomes an issue. At least, that's the way I see it.
Oka let look at it generally. The wife takes cares of the house work with addition she has her own occupation. Then the husband has his occupation then does little to no housework. How can you compare?

KarmaMod:
anyway do I sense jealousy onyinye  grin Asians usually do NOT look their ages. Seriously they really tend not to. The ones that do are Koreans and they are the least attractive of the Asian people.
Karma, even you had to admit those girls looked a bit young. Even the Olympic officials had to question the Chinese for their athletes. They even disqualified one of them when she tried to play for the Chinese team. There is no jealously here because this is just the first few days. The US has been playing sports that China is relatively oka in. But once track and field comes to play, China is gone. They are only competing in hurdles while the US covers MAJORITY of the events.

There is no way it is the food. I know chinese girls here who look their age. Them broads we saw last night were no 16 y.o. they looked like they haven't even started puberty.

ChinenyeN:
*SHRUG* Alright. I guess that's the way it is. There really is no sense in arguing it. I see my mother do all of that here in the house. Yet, my father has his own fair share of work to do. I'd so that both my parents work equally in this house and bear basically the same amount of burden, but they bear each others burden together (at least, as much as the two genders can bear together that is).
But you have to admit, your MOTHER does most of the work.

michelin89:
Onyinye

Must we get femminist all the time? grin
Me, feminist? Never.

ChinenyeN:
Oh, let's not even get started on that one. That's a whole-nother (not a real word) issue.
Not even an issue. Just realism.
