I don't know if I am the only one that is tired of reading news concerning ASUU/FG...infact if u people like resume mid 2021 or 2022...it will help undergraduates to understand that they have to learn handwork or do a liable business as school alone cannot determine our success in this country...I'm missing school and I am not missing school simple.

Romance / Re: At 22, Mean But True Advise You Will Give Me by oofjm: 12:51pm On Sep 02, 2020
Lordmykel:
you are young but won't remain so forever. know that people who are old and some who have died were once 22, have at the back of your mind that someday your time will come, so live life well.

Think deeply especially about the future, this is the period you should plan your future. remember if you fail to plan early, you plan to fail early.

Quest for knowledge, read books, read history as this will give you the knowledge of men of older generations combining it with the knowledge of your generation, you will be outstanding among your peers and this will also give you foresight, a very necessary attribute for growth and success.

have at the back of your mind that "fools also grow old". it is a norm in our African society to listen and obey all that elders say. but I tell you, elders are not always right, believe in yourself, trust your instincts and follow your heart, Learn from your parents and other people's mistakes, make your own mistakes and correct them, gather experience, you'll need them.

Observe judgements and adapt to positive change. e.g, they the older generation believes men are superior to women, but your generation Comes with equality. be intelligent, never forget that The illiterates of the 21st century are not those who can not read and write but those who is not able to learn, unlearn and relearn new things.

Don't do drugs, Alcohol inclusive it may ruin you. say no to cultism and other social vices. he who lives by the sword, dies by the sword.

never make women or a woman your priority, the women in your generation feel they are entitled to men's money, they are a liability for a young man who wants to grow. yes the cravings for sex will be there but realize that self-control is a gift 98% of your generation peers do not posses. stand out.

if you want to grow, realise that girls/women are only wants, they are not needs, your needs are education, food, shelter and clothing.. if you are not independent enough to get these needs for yourself then forget wants, you'll get your wants when you have your needs.

have an aim, pursue a goal, discover yourself now that you are still young, take positive risks else you'll regret when you get older.

dismiss the get rich quick syndrome, take care to only make money LEGITIMATELY, don't trick people to get favours, don't scam people of their money. yes your mates will be living large and soft lives, trust me illegally gotten money does not last. learn from Hushpuppi's story.

spend more time being productive than on social media. social media is addictive, never let it control you. spend more time reading news, spend time on discovery and reseaching on the internet.

if you are in the University, study hard, it's just 4 - 6 years of study after that you can flex your whole life, the sacrifice is worth it. School is not scam like your mates say, if school was a scam then millions would not be applying for jamb yearly.

You will always enjoy your life later, you still have time, but at 22 never miss that rare opportunity to lay a good foundation for your future. pay now, play later.

be a gentleman, always smile, help people, help make the world a better place and the sky will be your starting point and the ends of space your limit. ♥
this one na for every young man out there I swear...this ur wisdom na excess

Like someone said - it has been flogged very very well but women matter will continue to flog men as long as them still get yansh and bleast cool.

One of my many mumuness.

It was 2000, I was very young (after SSCE) and had a girl crushing on me but for reasons known to only God & devil, I just no send the babe.

But for the mumuness in me, I was seriously pursuing one yeye girl because of her yansh so tey in my bid to win her favor, I took a family cherished flask and made a sumptuous chocolate beverage with bread and sardine (from money I fapped from my sister) for her on a rainy day.
I told her from our balcony that I was coming with the goodies and she beckoned on me to come quickly. Only for me to reach her house, she asked to carry the flask follow her until we reach her boyfriend house angry. She jumped on him and said "Thank you Ola, shebi you have given me the flask" and they shut the door while I was standing there and smiling like Ganduje.

Anger no gree me sleep for 2 days
lol "while I was standing there and smiling like Ganduje"

Hmmmm.... I studied Building from Unijos and I regret ever studying that course. I wanted Medicine or even Pharmacy but I wasn't given. angry
Guess what I do for a living?? tongue
I'm a teacher. I own a school. If I had known I would end up teaching, I would have read education. However, I had to do a PGD in Education and a TRCN professional examination.
cheesy I bless God because I derive joy in teaching and feel fulfilled impacting knowledge to pupils.
smiley
Bros u were not determined to succeed in the building industry,ur mind were somewhere else why because u wanted to study medicine or pharmacy...so u just focuses on the theory rather than the practical aspects out of ignorance of not knowing that building is practical course and that without getting the practical aspects of it u can't succeed in that area, and u can't denied the fact that alot and even some of ur course mates who graduated from the same department and university have make and are making millions from building...ur success in life depends on how u plan to succeed without degree...u were expecting too much from your degree...but thank God u discovered were u belong.
