If you come to Ibadan, you see people speaking a single dialect. but an indept study will reveal several people with different origins such as ekiti, ibarapo, ijebu and even nupe which is why we made it our capital. Does it mean all Ibadan have a single origin? no.

Someone mistakes Bonny for so-called Ikwerre. "so-called" because what is today called ikwerre just like anioma ibos , and like ekiti toois more of a cultural area than a people with common origin.
