What we do know in simple language is that Kwara is a northern state and they have proven to be proud of that identity while Benue also a northern state is always at loggerheads with northerners and always prefers south or east

For instance, in Kwara, their voting pattern aligns with north, they make no formal efforts to join south, they love their emir and the arewa sign is everywhere in the state including the state logo. They have also drawn a line against Yoruba " cultural excesses"

In Benue, the opposite is the case. The voting pattern aligns with SE/ SS, the continue to make efforts to join south through APA state movement. The arewa logo is like a taboo there.
