Career › Re: Pharmacy Vs Nursing: Which Is More Lucrative? by Openbusiness: 9:59am On Sep 07, 2020 |
deltateam: Nursing gives you more choices and freedom.
You can open a chemist shop and you are more knowledgeable to give injections, do first aid there where's a pharmacist is limited.
Medicine business is lucrative o. Some malaria drugs sell at up to #500 profit per one. Not to talk of other drugs.
An average chemist shop makes #10000 profit daily or more.
#10 000 × 25 = #250 000 monthly - #100 000 on expenses = #150 000.
Don't shout o. You want those FIRS agents and state tax agents that normally come on Nairaland to spy for which businesses are succeeding to introduce a new tax law that will hang pharmacists throats fa? Abeg remove that calculation na now, Professor Calculator . Remove it, me sef I will unquote this later. Government spies full Nairaland |
Politics › Re: Calas Vegas: Ayade Builds ‘World-Class’ Resort Despite Tinapa’s ‘$450M Setback by Openbusiness: 9:36am On Sep 07, 2020 |
COMPAQ: What is there to be proud about? A white elephant project that will never see the light of day despite billions that will be allocated to it?
These are the things Nigerians should be shouting about and protesting against, but they won't because the attitude of the people is "this one no concern me". But when it comes to electricity tarrif and petrol subsidy removal, they will shout to the high heavens about wickedness of Buhari, despite the fact that economically, it's the right decision.
The attempt to spend billions in Calabar by Ayade is a far worse decision for the people of Cross River than the removal of subsidy in the long term. Unfortunately, everyone is more interested in the N100 in his pocket today, instead of the education and healthcare of his children and other infrastructure. Tourism is a billion dollar industry. If they get it right, they will recoup the money from it, bring more FDI to their State and create more employment and business opportunities for the locals and small businesses in the area. I don't know how the previous State govt managed or mismanaged the other resorts, but they can still be revitalized. Positioning Cross Rivers as a major international tourism hub in Nigeria and even West Africa is not a bad idea. It just needs better handlers. Building healthcare etc are symbiotic to a tourism industry. There's no international tourism zone where you won't find hospitals etc. Such things go together with its development. If you're building an international tourism hub, you will build security, you will build hospitals and you will build infrastructure to go along with it, because nobody comes to a tourism zone to just play with the sand on the beach alone, they will want to stroll into town, check out the community etc. And no international tourists will come back if the surrounding community is a shithole. If they get it right, states like Cross Rivers, Akwa Ibom have the potential and capacity to be another Dubai in terms of tourism. |

He shouldn't have called Mr Freeze a bastard, right or wrong.

kuntash: Seem like another plot to strategize They are waiting for their next batch of weapons to arrive. When it does, the killings and massacres will resume. They are buying time with this, so there won't be reprisals on them while their weapons are low. Typical terrorists strategy. Same tactics Boko has been using on the Nigerian Army. One minute in the news, you will read the Army will tell you Shekau is crying, negotiating for surrender, then 2 weeks later, another army base will be attacked by terrorists. Their weapons have arrived. |

After killing how many thousands ? This is a typical strategy of any enemy that fights a war of attrition. When they are low on weapons and munitions, they call for peace terms or make peace overtures to deceive and stall for time until they can re-arm themselves. When their next major supply of weapons cache arrives, the killings will resume again. Their weapons hasn't arrived yet. Rule number 1 of warfare, SURVIVAL 101: Never make peace with terrorists, because you can never have peace with terrorists. |
