And "average production" is about 2.2 to 2.5m bpd, but Nigeria produces as much as 5m bpd in some periods. So revenues were far higher than average many times. There budget is that high because they are forming world police, paying for NATO, paying for UN security council, paying for all kinds of UN programs, singlehandedly funding as much as 90% of their costs year in year out, they spent so much on military defense to remain d world number 1 super power, dey police d world having troops and presence in almost every corner of the globe, they interfere and sponsor their interests around d world, and another one is they give aid to hundreds of beggy beggy countries like Nigeria to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars, year in year out, out of magnanimity and politcal reasons etc. And despite all this, they are still top 5 ruling super power country in the world, still the most advanced civilization in the world, still d most politically powerful country in d world, still d most generous country in d world, still be most infrastructurally developed country in d World.....in short, all factors combined, dey are d best country in d world. So they have something spectacularly tangible to show for their huge spending. Your country has JACK to show, NOTHING, a complete shithole despite all the 600 trillion dollars they have earned from oil since 1963 to date, 57 years of wastage and embezzlement. Not to mention HUGE revenue from other major sectors like shipping (we are basically am importation country). Your country Nigeria is an absolute disaster that has wasted a lifetime opportunity of monumental growth and development on d platter of Government CORRUPTION. Investnow2017:All black indigenous citizens in d advanced countries are offsprings or descendants of d African blacks that were victims of an era of global black slave trade and slavery. Modern civilized societies of today were built on that foundation and that is why u still have some traces institutionalized racism against Blacks in some civilized countries, although many of them are working to reform their institutions to view Blacks as one of their own, but still a long way to go because the Black identity will always be linked to Africa and well, look at Africa as a whole, still behind everyone else, so d condescension is still there, d view dat Africans or Blacks (because the Africa identity is that of a Black race) are lesser people is still there in the subconscious. Blacks are still subconsciously viewed as dispensable fodders, pawns and guinea pigs in the process of advancing modern civilization. And their government agencies and institutions function according to their institutional structures and systems that put blacks at a disadvantage. It's not their fault really but d faulty foundation in which those institutions were founded or evolved in terms of how they relate with Blacks when Blacks were first introduced to their countries. For example, in d USA in those darks days, d institutional systems were so rotten to d point dat dey in some places dey even segregated d burial ground. And Black people couldn't be buried in a section where White people were buried. Smh, humanity really missed d way in racial matters. As for d pandemic, it could be dat more black people r been affected cuz blacks are more economically disadvantaged and possibly moving around more and getting infected, or maybe anoda reason like evolution, I don't kno. Investnow2017:dey were (and still are in some cases or places) viewed as scum cuz dey were d last race to get on board d train of modern civilization. Black people in Africa were clinging to a gods and shrines culture, when d others in d world were breaking free from that idea of civilization and catching d learning, science and inventions culture. Hence other races got stronger and built more powerful cities while Blacks were discovering new ways to talk to spirits and appease d gods. Unfortunately, an unwritten rule in this world, is that d strong shall rule d weak, and unfortunately, the "gods" favor d strong too, so when d various growing civilizations popping in different locations of the world started to merge and clash, we were d weakest civilization among dem all, and d ones every other races conquered. That's how come Blacks are belittled as lesser men. Our ancestors didn't catch up to modern civilization fast enuf. And look @ where we still are today, other races are building rockets and going on space exploration, building nanobots dat r smaller than a strand of human hair, while we are still here shouting nengi and ozo, kidwaya and Erica, by d time we are done with all dat foolishness, d world has left us behind again. We only thrive on individuality and there has been some tremendous individual Black successes here an there. But individuals successes don't make a race or country superior. It has to be collective, a consciously planned and detailed nation building effort. We juz don't have visionary leaders who know how to build a nation in dis part of d world  . |

This is what happens when a government and its agencies run a fundamentally flawed institutional principle where d country is seen and handled like a jungle, and the govt and its agencies are wild predators and the citizens are the game they prey upon to destroy day in day out. And then they wonder why the country is almost an irredeemable mess, despite all the natural riches in the land. From 1960 till now, this country has earned over 600 trillions of dollars from oil revenue alone YET there is nothing spectacular to show for it. Just another thrash 3rd world country at the bottom list among other thrash countries. Till today, Ghana cedi still has more value than naira, despite that our economy is 1000 times bigger than theirs. Then u just know dat sumtin is fundamentally wrong with dis country Nigeria but we never tell ourselves d truth. We need a govt that will spent 4 years and go and leave us a legacy of stronger, better, more transparent and more accountable public institutions. That is a TRUE LEGACY! A legacy far more valuable and worthwhile than a govt that comes and goes and tells us, i met $16 billion reserves, i left $20 billion when I was going. That is NOT a legacy. Better public institutions with reformed and civilized practices is how to build a country with strong and solid foundation that can carry and grow an outstanding economy on.
