Mathew26: Just hear yourself! Everything contained in the petition are preposterous and unthinkable of a SAN; first, how can he turn around to challenge a process that is yet to be determined or concluded but for his premeditations you won't see anything wrong in that ? Secondly, the entire process he complained of were first challenged by @ Olumide Akpata whose letter he himself quoted in that petition to the extent that they (the the entire Candidate) in the elections agreed that in spite of the vulnerabilities of the NBA Portal, the elections should go on. Perhaps, all that happened days ago before the elections! Talking about the totality of the voters list and the total vote casts, I think he should visit the site again and do a proper verification and computation before coming up with the figures he is relying on. This is because not all that we're accredited voted and even if everyone has to vote how can he guarantee all the votes to himself when he appeared in a third position not even second runner up! Finally, the processes for the conduct of the elections was known and the purported disenfranchisement could be as a result of many factors but certainly not within the fault of the ECNBA. We've had situations where accredited voters failed to undo the registered mobile numbers from "DND" to allow messages into their mobile devices where obtains the personal link to vote. On the whole, your Candidate should thank himself that the victory never exceeded the current figures because there is an ongoing revolutionary votes from young lawyers! Thank you. he's not my candidate. I dunt no him and I dunt have any affiliation, interest or bias with any of the contestants. Don't even know about d election if not for dis story on Nairaland. Am juz commenting as per d report, nutin more. |

SmartProf: You want it cancelled cos you aren't leading nor likely to win abi? Some persons just lack the spirit of sportsmanship. If you have lost this one, you can wait for the next election or you sit your ass down as the head of your family. Afterall that one too is headship. Professor read d article, d man has valid reasons with proof. An eligible voter confirmed he couldn't vote. And this is bad that d NBA being the prestigious institution it is can't even do credible e-voting election devoid of irregularities, with less than 20,000 voters. This is exactly why Nigeria is not ripe for e-voting. Dey will manipulate d system to disenfranchise some sections of d public. Very bad! Even if a man is going to lose, let him lose honorably. |

plusfield: There is a competition among this govt appointees to outdo each other in looting. They are taking advantage of the president's mental absence to loot as they wish, knowing that the man will never know. Even if he gets to know, he will forget by the next day which mental absence? The Oga at d top is stealing through his boys and forming ignorance, denial and shock whenever they are caught. Mr Integrity indeed. |

setting up terrorists camps across the country in preparation for a violent takeover by war is Step 2. Step 1 was Establishing Boko Haram, ISWAP to form a Caliphate in the North. Step 3 will be to unleash terror, mayhem, destruction and death through the terrorist camps spread across the country, in order to finally take over Nigeria and declare Nigeria a Fulani Islamic country. Yet Yorubas and Igbos are busy calling themselves flat and cone heads, afonja and ipods, while the enemy is strategically and systematically taking over the North. And once they are done with the North, the South is next. Now think and reason it well, most of all the carnage and bloodletting and horrendous civilian killings happening in the North that we read on the news, do you know it is mainly HAUSA people being slaughtered and killed like mosquitoes? Hausas are the major casaulties of the terror going on in the North. They have the largest population among the Northern tribes. They can't even fight back, they have been neutralized and just living as sittiing ducks praying they escape the next wave of unending terror attacks whenever it comes. Think about it. Hausas are the closest tribe to them. Yet they are being slaughtered like chicken to take over their lands. Now imagine the horror that will happen in the South for southerners that they see as outsiders and infidels. The South had better wake up fast. Restructuring is a SCAM, it won't work. The earlier the Southerners unite to break away from this forced evil marriage called Nigeria, the better it is for everyone of us. "UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL" has never been realer than it is right now. No single tribe can withstand these marauders alone. They have backing from the powers that be that are holding this country in economic, civil and political hostage. Southern unity is the solution out of the real dangers that portends ahead, now already at nearing our doorstep. But NO, let us keep shouting south wâste, brown roof, and potopoto and red mud, let us keep yelling afonja and ipig till they PUT US ALL IN CHAINS and lead us to the slaughter..... I just pray God can help me make a financial breakthrough to escape my sons from dis country before then. I'm not running anywhere. I will stay here and fight for my freedom. But my children or any other southern children should not pay for the sins of the foolishness of the older generations in the South |

pafra: Guys it's easy to criticis the government. Critically let's look at the situation of Nigeria.
Nigeria is a mono economy that depends on oil. The price have been down since the government came in it means, the amount realize from sells of oil can not finance our budget.
Please as Nigeria that want to see the country better let's list other forms of financing the budget outside borrowing.
Forget hate and let's talk about the nation Oga this your excuse is a broken record, he no dey play again. Nigerians are more enlightened now to fall for cóck and bull stories |
