BigBashiru:You are incorrigibly ignorant and obstinate. Despite telling you the same thing before the press release, you still want to argue. And the name of the person who made the video clearly stated. I will continue to say Nigerians don't deserve good medical personnel. You lots are ingrates. |
See the tweets below for those of you quoting and insulting me. I know what the hospital settings is like in Nigeria and UK. So without being there, after making careful assessment of the situation, I can easily draw an inference. There are bad eggs but it's not as bad as it's being propagated. We have good doctors and nurses in Nigeria who are highly professional. Professionalism is also accessed before they are accepted abroad. Please let's try reduce the condemnation and be sure we get the true story first. The poor pay is enough headache and frustration, let's not add to it. Thanks Cc: BigBashiru EdiskyHarry Jakiblend
|
Jakiblend:there are always two sides to a story, infact nowadays three. If you hear the hospital side now, we will all be mute. And you will never mention that they were the ones that referred you to Luth. Sometimes some of you want hospital to do magic. Once they refer you, you start getting angry. Every hospital has limits. For the woman crying, most of you will not answer the doctors questions which is very important for diagnosis but u will be quick to resort to tears. When you order an ambulance for an emergency situation abroad, he ready to answer loads of questions before they release their ambulance. All boxes must be checked. You can't just disturb people and they arrive and discover it's not an emergency worthy of ambulance service. Nigerians need to have sense and I will recommend the sense starting from you |
BigBashiru:The problem with you is that you are blinded not to see the positivity that's why you didn't note that he was not neglected, he was on oxygen and they needed to go do scan as the nurses mentioned. The two nurses from the video were ready and already gloved. The third person was on mufti and most likely the person who chuckled also and making video must be mufti and most likely the rescuers. So why blame the health professionals in this case? Look at the facial expression of the nurses and tell me what it means. But you people just love blaming doctors and nurses. It's even worst abroad, people will be dying and videos will be made. They don't even touch accident victims for fear of excessive questioning. A Nigerian was wrestled to death in Italy 3 months ago and passers by were making video while he died. The video was also too short to make concrete decision. But Na the health personnel go suffer the hasty generalisation. Not that you( behind this moniker) are a good person. Mtcheeeeew |
EdiskyHarry:you would be the one to shut up because you know nothing. Patients in Nigeria present very late and you hear probably the parents saying they first took the child to the chemist or were giving herbal medicine. And you want them to be praised? They only start blaming after the patients have been stabilised of probably the patient died on arrival. Even abroad, it's worse, they won't blame you but report you. Before you know it, police have arrested you for questioning especially if the victim is a minor. I'm not saying there are no bad eggs, but the way you guys condemn our health professionals, you need to take it slow. On Instagram, they said the only doctors left are quacks, the good ones have left. Give those quacks few years and you will see them abroad. If you can't appreciate what you have, you will lose it. That's what's happening. Continue, visitor of the year to government hospital. |
You see, Nigerians are very foolish and always trying to pull down their own. They never see anything good in their own until it's lost. It's so obvious from the video that the nursing staff was seeking the assistance of those that brought him to the hospital to assist in lifting him. From her facial expressions, she showed seriousness and empathy but the people(most likely passers by, that assisted him to the hospital ) were interested in videoing. This happens a lot in the hospital. Relatives or people who bring patients to the hospital often resort to making videos and the hospital staff telling them not to. The nurse was also explaining to them that he needed to be scanned, I don't think she would explain to fellow nurses if she was talking to her colleagues. From the video, there was someone in mufti, which means not everyone in that room is a hospital staff. And it seems someone was saying they just assisted him to the hospital, but it wasn't clear. And someone chuckled not laugher because he probably perceived the assignment as tedious or not his duty. Whoever did that cannot be judged until who he/she is or what position he/she holds is revealed. On Instagram, the Nigerian health system, doctors, nurses have been dragged to the muds and there were people cursing Nigeria nurses and doctors. Some already ascribed his death to medical negligence and calling the doctors quacks. By the time these doctors and nurses are done leaving the country, Nigerians will understand. This same people are underpaid by the government and never appreciated by the masses. |
Sounds like cultism. I might be wrong though |

hugelyendowed:brother, e shock me too |
giselle237:Thanks boss |
Good evening house. my wife got a skilled worker visa. COS sent on 15th of May. We booked for flexi on the 17 and got a date for 24th of this month. Her resumption date was stated to be May 30 on the COS letter. Is it possible to get a response before May 30? Will the visa not stand a chance of denial if the officers start reviewing on a later date and discover resumption date has passed or too close. How can one go about this issue if it's a problem? Thanks in anticipation. |
I have noticed that GTB account officers block their clients from having access to them through phone calls. Trust me, this is not hasty generalisation. While I have experienced this with two different account officers, my wife also is facing the same problem.. The account officers numbers are either on DND always or it's never going through. A colleague just told me her experience likewise. What sort of unprofessional act is this? Have you experienced this? |
GraciousWords:Thanks for this.. Went through the link you provided and I'm highlighting the statement below for clarification. If the applicant claims a stepbrother or stepsister, there should be NO evidence in the application that the marriage or common-law relationship between the parents of the stepbrother or stepsister has broken down. Does this mean they do not have to prove anything, as it's actually difficult to prove but make sure the application form does not contradict their claim? And I forgot to add that Olamide's father is late.. Thanks for your anticipated response |
Hi guys, A friend (Ayo) was born outside wedlock. His step father also had a child (Olamide) outside wedlock. Meaning Ayo and Olamide are step brothers Olamide is currently in Canada; can Ayo file Olamide as a sibling in Canada? Is it permissible? |
shadama:Thanks so much for this. I was just a step away from requesting my transcript from school before seeing this. That would have cost me #40,000. I have my certificate already and would send that to MCC through my physician apply file. |
Nenyezz:She does have 4 years experience and by july, 5. |
Naughtyvirgin:Alright, thanks . Although I'm still at advantage of being the primary applicant, until I become 31 by November, I only want to plan ahead incase of the unforseen. |
JIREN01:Thanks guys, I'm very grateful. One last question. I was surfing the CRS calculator and I discovered my 28 year old wife could also be the leading applicant (incase age catches up on me before the ITA) only if she has 2 or more certificates. My wife is a radiographer with post graduate certificate in ultrasound scan which was only a 2 weeks course. Firstly, will this 2 weeks course be evaluated as an additional certificate? Also, how much will I have to pay WES for this since I will be sending her certificate, transcript and the post graduate certificate? Cc: abdomox , abnot |
Abdomox:Thanks so much, you don't know how this has helped. I went out to the market just now to get foodstuff and trust me, I can't survive without a car. I will go to school this week, to go start my transcript processing. Medicine processing is a bit different as evaluation is not done by WES but the medical body. I already opened an account with the medical body for my credentials evaluation for $304. And each credential evaluated costs about $145. Considering cost, do I need to evaluate my certificate too for the purpose of express entry? Or will only my transcript suffice? |
Abdomox:Thanks for your response, your reply is the main reason I am on my toes to get everything done on time. That's why I need about 500k to run the transcripts evaluations and every other thing simultaneously and hit the ground running. I can't even raise this money for now, and I don't wanna delay further. I still have a rent to pay soon. main reason for the wanting the car sale. I will be 31 by late November and also, I have a sibling in Canada. Concerning the build up, I'm thinking I can get an additional 1.5 to 2M within this space of time, if God makes my debtors pay me and do a gift deed to round it up. So I want to be convinced if selling this car will be worth it. Cars are very expensive now and getting another will cost me over 3.5 million. |
Hello house, I'm a medical doctor, with a good side hustle but lately biz has been very bad, from good profit to being in debt. And my salary is not sustainable I have finally decided to relocate with my spouse and baby. From what I have gathered so far, after my ECA, I should be evaluated as professional degree holder which has a high point. I'm 30 and I'm confident of a good ielt score. My spouse has a bsc in radiography too but I will be the leading applicant. I have a sound car which I can sell for about 2.5million naira. It's about 6 months of use. I need about 500k for evaluating our certificates and results, renewing my passport and that of my baby. And opening a physician apply profile. And the 2 million stash in an account while I grow it gradually to about 6-7 million naira within the next 6 months. I have not been a foot soldier for over 5 years and it's gonna be stressful moving around in public transport. Am I making the right decisions? Will this whole plan work out? I need experts to help minute on this |
Renforce:Please send me an email.. I'm interested in the solar generator |
Alitair:Well, I won't insult u to tell u how civil I am. BTW, I kept this space because of you. Firstly, passing English language comprehension requires good IQ and patience... You will do well by reading again and note that there's no time I went to the nepa office to make a complaint. The nepa guy came to inspect, saw the fault, dropped his number ( he wouldn't have dropped his number if he didn't find a fault). I had to call him, explained my case and he asked that I bribe him. I don't bribe, but most importantly it's a foolish thing to do since there are many officials who come for inspection.. Until I bribe the whole nepa staff who will likely keep calling themselves, pointing my flat to other colleagues for further reaping. Secondly, don't u think it could backfire and the nepa staff that won't take bribe will come one day. Find the fault and hand me over to the police. Then, I will seek advice on nairaland and your likes will still call me a thief and suggest that I am locked up. And at that point my landlord exonerated. You can do well by thinking like a civil person now that I have guided you and suggest something better. |
I need nairalanders' advice concerning my present predicament. I rented an apartment late last year and discovered my power wasn't disconnected despite having not made any recharge on the prepaid after 2 weeks. I called my landlord brother who let the place out to me, to inform him about my findings, but he insisted that I was enjoying the recharge from the previous tenant. I tried checking the balance through the small box used for recharging but it wasn't connecting and I believed it was a network issue After about a month, my curiosity heightened and for the fact that I hate to be involved in anything illegal, I decided to make further inquiries concerning the metre. My neighbor and chief tenant who has been in the house for about 4 years told me that there's debt on the metre which made the previous occupant connect directly while by passing the prepaid metre.. I called a friend who once worked with Nepa and he made findings saying the debt on the metre is 118,000 naira. I got the number of the landlord and decided to put a call to him last December. He claimed that the house has been on prepaid metre since the erection of the building. And said I should ask Nepa how the debt was accrued.. I agreed with him so I decided to make more findings concerning how debt got on the metre. During this period, a nepa official came for inspection, he dropped his phone number as I was not at home. I called him and explained everything to him.. He gave me the summary of the transaction which showed that the house owed a debt while on post paid, which was transfered on the prepaid meter when it was installed. The nepa official indirectly asked me to bribe him so he would leave the metre not disconnected which I didn't oblige to. He came last week to disconnect the metre and I have called the landlord who refused to find a solution to the problem. My landlord claims he hasn't lived in the compound for a day and wouldn't be responsible for it. I suggested that I clear the bill and deduct it from my next rent. He refused. I have been in darkness for over a week now and running on generator without any solution in sight. What's the best measure I can take towards resolving this issue? |
jerflakes:I think you have comprehension issues |
Inkredible:You just spoke like a slave... |
Rolly83:I have been to several other countries |
justwise:It was after I put a call to them that they mentioned where the error was from... |
IstandWitBuhari:I think you are only interested in making a quote. And you don't even know the appropriate quote for appropriate situations. How does reading terms and conditions make you not susceptible to mistake? The terms are clearly known by us. It's simply a case of making a mistake. Sometimes you click "YES" thinking you have clicked "NO". Financial cases aren't treated this way especially when it involves a large sum of money.. If it's a case of lackadaisical act to instructions, it's understandable. There isn't even a preview page to make you go through the information before submitting. if is so sensitive, you should be able to preview. I still stand on the fact that it's a scam. They wouldn't do this within their country. |
EgunMogaji:If it's not criminal, what is it? Why would you make a single mistake and not be able to edit. Moreover this said money is going to their account. Fine, it's registered into a different category. Are they saying they do not have the technicalities to put things in place? It's similar to mistakenly paying for clearance or hostel in a school portal while you want to pay for school fees. When you make complains, the money is reversed and you do the right thing. The example given is even stricter compared to this case. Why would you choose a wrong answer for the question "Are you above 80?" and everything simply goes sore. Not forgetting that you had earlier filled your age correctly in an antecedent page. It's pure evil. This happens to people and they loose the money on a daily basis. If it were to be an organisation that loses customers or a competitive market, they wouldn't ever act that way. Filling forms online, anyone can make a mistake. Besides, he claimed to not have seen the question because at a point his network was bad and he was automatically logged out of the site before continuing. No matter what the terms are, it's simply not fair. Humans can make mistakes. 128k isn't beans in this economy. |
I was applying for a tourism visa with my fiancee and while filling out the electronic form to book appointment, my fiance mistakenly answered "yes" to the question "Are you 80yrs and above?". Because of this single mistake, we couldn't schedule the appointment. On calling their contact centre, I was told the cause of the error (which is having answered wrongly to the question are you 80 years and above?). I requested for a reversal in order to carry out the correct steps but I was shockingly informed that we have to make another payment. Himself and myself. Meaning 128,000 naira (64,000 naira each) is gone. It's so annoying and devastating owing to the fact that nothing can be done to this criminal act . this is scam! This is daylight robbery. The way these people see us is what I don't understand. |
