He made a wrong move to barca.... He saw his transfer to barca as a dream move....but the club's intention was for him to fill a huge void left by bad boy neymar.....
Mane almost made this same mistake when he almost left Liverpool to Madrid to replace a departing ronaldo....
Players should go to clubs where they are valued and wanted not clubs where they are only needed to replace departing players!
To be honest,I would have loved to have coutinho in Liverpool! Though Klopp said recently he actually wanted to sign coutinho but the club did not have such humongous funds!
I wish him well at Bayern! |

If you find any of my post here today, insincere or unreasonable then, it's your opinion....and I can't argue that. What club do you support by the way? I don't know what you are saying....admit your team was fortunate to escape with a draw! You did initial gra gra against united and got pummeled...your excuse was that the team was blending! you tried the same against Liverpool and started making funny comments about Chelsea winning the league.... now you met a team that you could have gotten 3 points from...your excuse is that Chelsea players are inexperienced! oga Abeg stop defending mediocrity! |

Ekaka1: I think we were lucky to have survived a draw with this Leicester team...we had many chances to kill the game in first half but our boys were so, so inexperienced. Leicester took the second half and almost got an early equalizer....but it was just a matter of time....as they took over the midfield for long spells .. I think also, that every single team that plays us this season will come knowing...WE DO NOT HAVE A DEFENCE !!!
Overall, let's keep working ..I think the lads will learn, the coach too will learn...and las, las, we'll be okay What did I just read? Inexperience? So the likes of Kante, jorginho, giroud,Pedro are inexperienced players? Ohh my God

uunwanaobong3: OGA STOP BRINGING SENTIMENT HERE, WAS THE HANDBALL GIVEN AGAINST TOTENHAM LAST YEAR NOT WORTH IT EVEN WITHOUT VAR? MY PROBLEM IS WHEN IT COMES TO LIVERPOOL, REAL MADRID AND BARCA, VAR RULE MUST BE TWISTED IN FAVOUR OF THIS TEAMS. MANCITY HAVE REALLY SUFFER EXTREMELY Sentiments is what most mancity fans like you have in abundance! Here you are saying that the handball was justified when the ref had already given a corner kick to mancity only to revert to a penalty when it was spotted by VAR! So if aguero had scored that pen,man city would have won at white hart lane all thanks to VAR! Atleast it shows mancity were once beneficiaries of VAR! Like I said, you rejoice when it favours you but complain and hoist the victims' card when it goes against you! |

uunwanaobong3: Oga my whole point is that var must be consistent at all times. Let handball, penalty, disallow goals be consistent at all times when players commit same offence. Example, the handball offence that fail to penalized lorente last year is now used to penalized city this year. The obvious foul on the penalty box which is usually 100% penalty is not given to city even with var. It is high time UEFA & EPL come out clean on this daylight robbery for the sake of this beautiful game. Of all the games played in epl, it is only mancity games that is VAR cöntroversial, have u ask yourself why? 2 games played by mancity and 2 goals cöntroversially disallowed, that is the definitiön of witch hunt. And yet no öne know who control VAR Go and watch the first 5 minutes of last seasons's champions league quarterfinals at white hart lane between tottenham and mancity! |

uunwanaobong3: HONESTLY, LET THE TRUTH BE TOLD, I AM BEGINING TO GET CONVINCE THAT VAR WAS SOLELY CREATED TO STOP MANCITY FROM WINNING PRIMEIR LEAGUE AND CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and also help liverpool to win primier league. Last year, VAR allows lorente hand ball goal to stand but disallow city marginal offside goal at injury time. Liverpool won super cup because VAR could not over rule liverpool keeper whose both legs were off the line during penalty shøötout. VAR deny jesus goal last week stating that sterling was a millimeter offside despite replay showing that both players were on the same line. Now today VAR deny mancity a clear and open penalty when lamela wraps his hand around rodri neck and pull him down during corner kick. But VAR was quick to disallow mancity goal despite reply showing that the ball slightly brush of laporte hand as both laporte and totenham defender arm were wrap against each other unknowingly... Believe me this var is a witch hunt to deny city their trophies... So far two mancity goals has been cancel You guys are very funny! I guess when it favours the mancity fans, they rejoice but when it goes against them, they protest and call it injustice! Now lets go back to last season in the champions league quarter finals between spurs and mancity at white hart lane....Just under 5mins into the match, sterling shot goal-wards and danny rose intercepted which went wide for a corner...however,VAR noticed that there was an 'accidental hand ball' by rose and ruled for a penalty against spurs which aguero failed to convert! The rest of the game is already known! Its not as if these laws just came out from nowhere....it was already communicated to all coaches and players about what is permissible... and besides, that did not stop mancity from conceding 2 cheap goals which were avoidable considering that spurs strikers esp kane didn't even get half a chance against the near formidable mancity backline! If mancity had utilized their wasted opportunities against tottenham,we wont be talking about the influence of VAR on their results.... |

ogbonti: sometimes it is good to stay where you are in life and avoid all this move move drama. Imagine if Coutinho had stayed at Liverpool, he would have been a European Champion today with Liverpool and a key member of the squad where he will be respected and adored and his stock will rise and value so much appreciate - today he is being chased around like an unwanted commodity..
it reminds me of Zlatan Ibrahimovich, He was so obsessed with wining the UEFA champions league that he left Juventus for Inter Milan after 2 seasons, he failed - he left Inter for Barca, and Eto'o was sent to to Inter to replace him. that same season Inter won the Champions league with Eto'o beating Barca. In frustration he left Barca to AC Milan, no way, left for PSG whossai, went to Manchester United, zero.... he later confessed he was busy chasing UEFA champions league glory instead of focusing his effort in team building and enjoying his football
DBIkonu, this same scenario apply to our girls - if you are comfortable in a relationship - even if the guy is not rich, i beg siddon in your relationship and nourish it to marriage and dont fall for the bling bling flashy new wealthy guys whose source of wealth you dont know - BE WISE! True! |

First of all,its tactically naive for a kante to mark a van dirk....had van dirk scored I would have blamed the captain and the entire defence for not instructing a much taller player to van dirk....that's how he scored against Norwich without jumping!
...its also obvious that some childish fans still haven't gotten over the super cup loss and trying their best to make it seem as if they actually played the likes of barca or Madrid! |

Ekaka1: Yep! We lost. Liverpool was poor on the night but got the job done. Football was unfair to Chelsea, I guess that's what we are saying look at it this way: 1. We had more possession and controlled the game much of the time. 2. Played fearlessly and purposefully on the back f that disastrous outing against MANu. 3. Hit woodwork twice 4. Scored two goals ..(close calls) adjourned offside 5. Kante' nutmeg we can't forget that in a hurry 6. Came back from a 2-1 deficit 7. penalties: VAR...ooohhh..VAR ..your goal keeper clearly had both feet off the darn line when Tammy took that kick but hey...that's the element of luck we speak off ...you benefitted last night....we may on some other occasion...
Again , congrats but please do not mock us without an overall honest appraisal of the night...we were better but you won ...you played with experience..m had some element of luck but bottom line YOU WON!! This analysis of yours though biased is expected from a Chelsea fan.... 1.You should know by now that possessions don't win games esp in a cup final unless you want to be like the Arsene Wenger gunners:More possession, zero results! 2.Such should be expected from a Chelsea team no matter who plays....its expected that any player who wears the Chelsea shirt and is paid with such humongous cash every week should deliver...so don't make it sound as if Liverpool played the likes of Sunderland or Burnley which I don't believe is in the class of Chelsea... 3.This is quite laughable! Hitting the woodwork is likened to an attempt that was saved! Don't also forget that the Chelsea keeper made a host of saves esp the double saves from salah and van dirk to ensure the game goes beyond regulation time... 4.Another hilarious attempt to console yourselves...Not adjourned or close calls....it was shown to be offside and VAR confirmed such calls to be offside! 5.What did I just read? A nutmeg? How did that translate to a goal or win? Are Chelsea fans instantly turning into arsenal fans who just want to see attempts, nutmegs and possession footy? 6.Liverpool also came from a goal down so I don't see the big deal here...or are you saying a Chelsea team comprising of kante, giroud, jorginho, pulsisic,Pedro etc is average? Liverpool were playing a Chelsea team with international players earning big pay weekly! So its an insult to believe Liverpool played a substandard Chelsea team! 7. I went back to check the penalties and I noticed there was at least two penalty kicks where the Chelsea keeper came out from the lines....however,it doesn't matter because the super cup is already in Liverpool receiving fresh breeze.... In all honesty,Chelsea did play well..however,its the least that was expected of Chelsea considering their embarrassing loss to manutd... It would have been devastating on lampard had they lost scandalously to Liverpool....Deal with it and move on! There are still more cups to win! |
