Austin Ejide was in goal for that Mandela challenge friendly and Uche Nwofor got the brace. The game was played in 2013. Balogun was not in the team yet.
But the one Goldfish80 is referring to was played I think in 2014, after the WC. Daniel Akpeyi had his debut and Balogun played RB. His poor judgement of the ball on the touch line cost us the late equalizer.
Balogun was not at fault, it was Oboabona. |

Our rule for fattening is to attain 55-60kg live weight within 8 months. I tell new farmers to forget all those scope people tell them about keeping animals till they weigh 90-150kg. You wont see it and you will end up running at a serious loss. Look at the margin u make when you buy 2 month old weaners at 4500 and keep them for 8 months: Compounded feed and spent grains: 4972 Housing: 2222 Attendant and other costs:555
Total cost including animal purchase: 12069 Min weight will be 55kg and @ 450/kg equals 24750 Profit is 12681. Even if profits are 10000, with 30 animals you know what you will make.
When you start breeding, that 4500 enters your pocket. feeding cost is cheap for 8 months..i will need to have your feeding formula |

How ever you and I am aware that Ezenwa has not been that active for some months now , why Enyeama is active for his club.
The NPFL is on break but the French League is not.
Am not against trying Alampasu. Try him in a match that even if we loose we may not be pained that much.
The match against Algeria is so much important that we can't afford to try an inexperienced goalkeeper as far as national team is concerned.
Try him in a friendly match or in any of the matches where we must have qualified so that even if he flops we will not have so much regrets. i think there is FA cup final this week, that may help ezenwa fitness..how old and how experienced was Eyeama when he got his chance against england in 2002 WC finals? 1 Like |

EMMAACHILE:
CUCUMBER TYPES American slicing: These cucumbers are the biggest and thickest-skinned, which makes them the best choice for shipping. Harvested at 7-8” long, they have a medium amount of spines and bumps distributed over the dark green skin of the fruit. This traditional American type remains the most popular cucumber in some markets.
Pickling: These are smaller than slicing cucumbers, an essential feature for canning. Pickling cukes also are delicious eaten fresh because they are crisp and juicy. European and American pickling cucumbers are differentiated by appearance, with the Americans having fewer, larger spines and bumps and the Europeans having many small spines. The European picklers are the best choice for making gherkin pickles because they are nicely proportioned at a very small size.
Cocktail: Usually picked at 3-4” long, cocktail cucumbers are known as some of the best for flavor and crunchy texture. Their small size and thin skins have earned them the nickname “snack cucumber” because they are so easy to eat out of hand. They are cylindrical in shape and spineless. These are usually sold in bags or clamshells since the skins dehydrate so easily. Cocktail cucumber varieties are usually grown in the greenhouse.
SEED BREEDERS, GROWERS, AND MERCHANTS SINCE 1973 Then there are the varieties categorized as Spineless and Thin-skinned. This covers a lot of territory, literally. Cucumbers are popular the world over and many types bear the names of the regions or countries where they originated.
Dutch: 14"-long, thin, spineless cucumbers usually grown in a greenhouse. Their thin skins contribute to their excellent eating quality, but cause them to dehydrate quickly. They are often found in supermarkets shrink-wrapped in plastic.
Beit Alpha: Smaller than the Dutch varieties, Beit Alpha cucumbers average about 5-8" long. Their flavor and crisp texture make them a desirable choice for gourmet markets. Like the Dutch cucumbers, they are thin-skinned and need to be protected from cucumber beetles and dehydration.
Asian: These are spiny, slender, and long — as much as a foot long. They require trellising to keep the fruits long and straight.
When Asian cucumbers were first introduced in the United States, they were marketed as being burpless, meaning they don’t cause gas. Since then, many other so-called burpless varieties have been introduced. Because “burpless” is a subjective term, Johnny’s has steered away from using it in variety descriptions. Look for varieties described as bitter-free or non-bitter. However, some research has been done into what causes some cucumbers to offend the stomach. It is now thought that “burpiness” is caused by cucurbitacins, the bitter compounds found in all cucurbits. Seedless, thin skinned varieties have lower cucurbitacin amounts and therefore are more likely to be burpless.
Finally, consider disease pressure when choosing cucumber varieties. Varieties vary in their disease resistance, so check the catalog descriptions carefully if you have had problems in the past.

But your body language proved otherwise because you concluded 'don't go the way of Onigbinde' and 'bb of his ethnocentric decision of picking... ' I think those words weren't framed by the press or closed observers but by you.
I can't see any cogent reason behind his decision to take Adepoju to the world Cup but Opabunmi is understandable because i remember he was given the task to build a new team. Remember, Opabunmi won Silver shoe and Bronze ball in 2001 U17 and he scored a goal for the Super Eagles in his debut match. Remember, Onigbinde did the same with Rasheed Yekini in 1984 and the rest is history. So, we can say atleast some of the players he introduced into National team latter became legend. But that can't be said of Keshi 2013 winning team.
You said Opabunmi made the list ahead of Yakubu and Babangida. Is Opabunmi a striker or a right winger? Because i know he plays in non of those positions.
So, you should have asked yourself, who did Onigbinde replaced Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Tijani Babangida with? I know you the encyclopedia of Nigerian football should know that Bartholomew Ogbeche or Benidict Akwuegbu replaced Yakubu Aiyegbeni and John Utaka or Pius Ikedia replaced Tijani Babangida but you turned blind eyes to that. Why?
Remember, our best match in 2002 world Cup was against England. Opabunmi started the match and was substituted in the 86th minutes. You may want to ask where is he today but i will not tell you the answer because you already knew what happened to the lad.
Are you not one of those who suggested that Kelechi Iheanacho should have been included in the list of 2014 World Cup squad?
Yakubu was dropped because he wasnt fit for the tournament, he had eyes surgery weeks before the competition. i believe Adepoju was included to support the defence, not the attack. udeze was red carded during the qualifier, not available for selection in the first game against Argentina. |

Well, I wasn't d one that raised eye-brow over Onigbinde's inclusion of Adepoju and Opabunmi. It was d Nigerian press and close observers. Adepoju had long past his peak and was nt even part of d qualifiers. Pple saw him as retired already and all of a sudden he made d world cup squad. It is jst like including some1 like John Utaka in our 2018 WC squad. Opabunmi had jst featured at d U17 WC a few months earlier and he made d list even ahead of Yakubu and Babangida. Soccer pundits then didn't understand d rationel behind d inclusion of the 2 players in the team. Opabunmi (too young & inexperienced); Adepoju( too old and had lost steam). Onigbinde's defence was "Adepoju is my joker. Opabunmi and Adepoju are my boys so I am taking them to d World Cup". If u remembered vividly that statement didnt go down well with Pundits and analysts including some NFA board members. Some people even said he took Adepoju to d WC jst to help him financially.
I am sure u know neither Adepoju nor Opabunmi kicked a single ball at that world cup. Opabunmi played the third match against England 1 Like |

I dont know ur age and whether you watched Taribo play. That guy was a rock of Gibraltar in the defence line. He was strong rugged skilled and had a heart of a lion. Their set was the last super eagles team we ever had. Remember they almost embarrassed the Argies in 1994 WC until FIFA referee allowed them a last minute penalty. They did not struggle with Sudan or lose to Congo. Those guys could easily have brought the cup back if not for world politics in football coupled with inexperience at that stage. I still respect them. Taribo was not part of 1994 WC team and Argentina didnt score any penalty against Nigeria at USA 94 |

Well said. I practise the above system and get about an average of 1 to 1.5kg in 5 months from fingerlings using concrete ponds. With the formular below:
Maize 26 Sbm. 20 Gnc. 28 Ffs. 10 Fm 72. 15 Lysn. 1 Salt. .5 F prx. .3 Aquapro. .1 Enzyme. .1 Oil. 2 Dcp. .2
I think the result is not good enough. Kindly review again and respond. Ikg in 5months when people are posting 2 to 2.5kg in 6 months.
Pls what should be done to achieve a better result? That is not bad, considering what you are feeding them with, and in concrete pond |

The above is 198KG in total. The percentage of fish meal which is the most vital ingredient is too small. Broiler starter and rice barn are both carbohydrate. Isn't the percentage too much? I really don't know how old your fish are but you should at least increase the fish meal percentage in your feed to at least 50KG in 200KG. Ok sir, i want to start with the formula when they are 3 months, still using floating |

It is very easy to make fingerlings gather even in a very big pond. It is d'most simpliest of all if u know the right channel to go about it. Feeding at different corners will only cause disparity among ur fish and it can also lead to waste of feeds. For now, I make use of two methods, the first is the introduction of sound to give them notice that it is time to eat.
To do the above, get a keg and stick. Beat the keg several times before u feed them. Within the next 3 days, u will see that they will converge at a spot u feed them.
The second method is that u will need to get a net which most of us know as mosquito net, get a tailor to sow it for u into rectangle. You will now put big stone inside it and use stick to peg it into ur pond. You then use net that prevent predator to cover it at the top. That's'the latest method adopted of recent. It has succeded in killing a leftover fish in the pond and mouse. I can snap and upload d'picture 2mao. because of unavailability of some of the ingredients in my area, can the second local feeds be adjusted using; Broiler starter (vital or topfeed) = 50kg F/M, 72% = 18Kg Gnc =40kg Soya =40kg Biscuit = 30kg Rice bran = 20Kg Bone = 2kg Premix = 1kg Lysine =0.2 vit.c = 0.15 Salt= 1kg Presently, 25kg of broiler starter (top feed) is 2,250. Gnc is 118/kg, soya 120/kg (full fat 140/kg), biscuit is 55/kg, rice bran 16/kg. Thanks |

2000 pieces...u r to use 2bags of 0.8mm, 2 bags of 1.2mm and 1 bag of 2mm.....They will finished the 5 bags within 25 days max if they eat very well. You can then switch to local feeds. Each formula posted is 100KG. Writing all the formula here is going to take me a while. It is not easy bro. I will try to be posting each formula per day.
I make sure I feed the fish to saturation point before I leave farm.
