soupandeba:The courts may not always give an unbias Judgements. See, nobody is a saint. Lemme take u down memory lane... What if the Supreme court gave a bias Judgment against Okumagba of Okere and his people in 1975? Do you think the Okere-Urhobos would rest? Mind you, the Itsekiris still tried to oppose the Okere-Urhobos when they demanded that their traditional ruler, Orosuen be recognised by the state govt. during Ibori's governorship(thank God it did'nt work). I have not also forgotten how the Itsekiris transferred aggression on the people of Okere-Urhobo attacking them during the Warri crisis after some Itsekiri communities were attacked by the Ijaws. Yes, the Ijaws and Urhobos too have fought but those issues have been resolved, we're still here and we know our boundaries. One thing we have to know is we'll forever be neighbours so the earlier we settled our differences amicably, the better for us. In the kingdom of rats, everyone is a thief~ Uhobo adage. |
Jhappy:I disagree o. Nothing involves the so-called IPOD here so i see no reason why u should bring them in. Warri cannot be someone's ethnic identity but it's rather a geographical entity. If you say u're from Warri(metropolitan), u're either Urhobo, Ijaw or Itsekiri. Festus Keyamo is an Urhobo man from Agbarha kingdom, Warri. His job in the EFCC is on a personal capacity and does not in anyway represent the interest of the Agbarha people or the entire Urhobo nation. Thank you. #WarriPikin |
soupandeba:True, i agree the Ijaws can be quick to violence but on another thought, u can only fight with someone u're competing with. The Itsekiri's have also fought with the Ijaws and Urhobos- their closest ethnic neighbours. So what does it make of them, troublemakers? |
OJUcrook:To the best of my knowledge, Tompolo and his Ijaw people did not steal any Itsekiri land. Is Itsekiri land in Okerenkoko or the whole of Gbaramatu? I know the Ijaws and Itsekiris are geographically close seaside so issues like this are bound to come up... I only know of the Ogidigben EPZ land controversy and i guess that has been settled. |
LesbianBoy:Wait o, u be man abi u be woman? I don't understand. |
DankemzI:Bia bros, reforestation can be very beneficial. If i should trust Fayose's words on this, then i support him. For your Information, Ekiti state is largely rural with enough undeveloped lands- this will make Afforestation easier and more beneficial in the long run. |
Imortal001:I believe am die, I just dey jealous dem 4 dah state. Na collabo btw the state govt. and Catholic church, Diocese of Awka. Na catholic church i dey go so i know wetin dey.... The leaders for that state, Peter Obi o, Obiano o(especially), dem get brain die and dem sabi do beta tin 4 their people. Make Delta sef be like dis na. |
oracle009:Yeah, I'm a Catholic and u're 100% correct. I also support that it remains this way as we have it in Anambra now- a partnership between the Church and state govts for optimum productivity. Chai, i dey jealous dis people... Willie Obiano has brain and knows how to use it. |
Imortal001:Oghene r'ode. |
Congrats Governor Emmanue Udom. Please let the people of Akwa-Ibom enjoy the dividends of democracy more under you than they did under Akpabio. Akwa-Ibom, Ayaya. |
OAU NO GET DUPLICATE |
alameen21:Chai! F*ck you. |
sixtuschimere:Happy New Year to our Government. |
tyrannasty:Who's loyal? There's No colonialist of Neo-colonialist(as Mugabe has brought upon his country) that will not seek to exploit for it's own benefit. |
Rilwayne001:Hello Rilwayne. What do you think is the way forward? Especially with the 'soldier come soldier go barracks remain the same' syndrome affecting Nigeria, do you really blame these Biafran agitators? |
Rilwayne001:Hello Rilwayne. What do you think is the way forward? Considering this 'soldier come soldier go barracks remain the same' syndrome Do you really blame these Biafran agitators? |
Small time we'll start attacking people who call for the disintegration of this country. I dont think i can be proud of this country anymore. |
Firefire:Broda abeg tok the Mata for English make everybody hear am Jare, these people are a problem especially to us- the south and don't try to make it a closet discussion. Don't say 'ki la fe se?' there is always something that can be done- please let's push for a good re-structure of the country else breaking the union becomes in inevitable. |
The Muslim North has continued to draw this nation backward in many ways especially considering the largeness of their area and the population strength. If this country is not properly restructured where every region or state can develop in it's own pace, then I'm sorry we're going no where, we'll not develop- we are doomed to remain a third world country. Disintegration of this union may be inevitable afterall. |
aristodavid:LOL. Yeah, Urhobo is quite melodious. Thanks. |
The Islamic state has declared war on the Vatican according to a recent publication. Just click on this link shoebat.com/2014/11/13/isis-declares-war-vatican-says-muslims-will-war-roman-christians/ |
Kirigidi:Ihwo r'Igbo(gbani Biafra) vue we tane ayen ce mue "our(Niger-Delta) oil" mie we nene ayen vwo Kpe Biafra rayen? Urhobo! E Biko, e vwiroro. Oniovo! I think It's high time we re-considered our place in this Union too; we have to plan on how we'll survive the challenging times ahead should the unexpected happen. Do we even have a credible leadership(God bless the soul of Mukoro Mowoe and other patriots alive or dead) as we speak? These should be our concern now and not fighting a people who have done us no harm. Who is the enemy here- the Biafran agitators or the Born-to- rule Oligarchs? |
naijapips02:LOL. But come to think of it, have you asked how many Yoruba and Hausa peeps school in the east in sizable numbers and have been able to climb the academic ladder the way the Igbos are doing elsewhere especially in the west? Remember the first Indigenous VC of University of Ibadan was Igbo. I acknowledge the fact that Yorubas are very hospitable people But another truth is the Igbos are good at feeling at home even outside home; they move out a lot and blend quite well.... Give it to them. Congrats Prof. Njokanma |
