As the reactions continue to trail the attack on the residence of Senator Lee Maeba Ledogo, a former Senator representing the Rivers South East Senatorial District and the current Chairman Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Rivers State. The Coordinator of Teamcolekhana LGA and Deputy Secretary 1, Contact and Mobilisation, Tonye Cole/Barikor Governorship Campaign Council (GCC), High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 Of Africa, has condemns the assassination attempt and attacks on Sen. Lee Maeba Ledogo, describing it as a dangerous dimension to the fragile peace in Khana LGA and in the state.

The former Assembly aspirant for Khana Constituency 2 and APC chieftain in Khana, during the funeral service in honour of late Lady Reader Christiana Dickson Waayii, the mother of Comr. Nubaridoo Simeon Waayii, in ward 10, Bane , Khana LGA Rivers State , made this disclosure during his condolence message made available to Teamcolekhana media yesterday Saturday December 10th,2022, at the funeral, saying the last Thursday's attack on the Senator's residence is not only worrisome but a dangerous signal in the build-up to the 2023 general elections in the state.

It was gathered that some group of people numbering about 200 on Thursday morning 8th December,2022, allegedly attempted to kill Senator Lee, who was in the State to attend some important functions.

The suspected assailants were said to have trailed the senator when he attended a funeral service at EUI event center on Wednesday night to his residence , GRA portharcourt , the state capital.

Unknown to the assailants, the Senator had left earlier to visits his in-laws on a distress call around Portharcourt before they invaded his house.

Zaa's, reacting to Thursday morning invasion which the Senator said was targeted at his life, said in his message at the funeral that the attack should be condemned by all well-meaning people of the state and ogoni politicians, adding that “it is coming when the people of Khana and ogonis are beginning to heave a sigh of relief due to the reduction in the activities of armed killing and other crime's in the region.”

“I was extremely shocked when I received the news of an attempted assassination of my brother in his House at GRA Portharcourt.”

“He is my brother and close friend . And what if they met him but Luckily for him, he was not around".

He said that the need to fish out the sponsors and prosecute the suspects is necessary, so as to serve as deterrent to others in the future.”

“The security agencies should go ahead to fish out those who sponsored them. This will serve as deterrent to others with similar motives.

“We should not take politics to be a do or die affair. This assassination attempt is condemnable. This case should not be swept under the carpet,” he added.

Although the actual motives of those who invaded the senator’s residence are not yet clear, the Coordinator Of Teamcolekhana LGA, Mene Zaa and Deputy Secretary 1 Of Tonye Cole/Barikor Governorship Campaign Council (GCC) , represented by his Deputy Coordinator, Comr. Nubor Optimist Goteh, pointed out that whatever their mission, a thorough investigation must be carried out by the police to unmask those behind the invasion and attacks .

According to him, “from the preliminary investigations and eyes witness it is cleared that the senator was their target, whether they were there to assassinate or kidnap him, what we are interested in is that the full weight of the law must be applied.”

The Nyokhana political Infantry General further disagreed with the claim that the attacked was not politically motivated as aclaimmed by some Members of the Wike led factional of PDP in the State on social media as read. He recounted how on several occasions , Governor Nyesom Ezewon Wike had threatened Sen. Lee Maeba Ledogo and asked him to prepared for War.

“If it is established that they were kidnappers, then the law against kidnapping in the state which was signed by the governor must be applied.”

He warned that any attempt to sweep the matter under the carpet will send a wrong signal to the public, adding that “that means nobody is longer safe in the state, anybody can be a victim.”

“The hoodlums suspected that he could be at home, having attended a funeral service at EUI in the night and possibly kidnap him.

“Fortunately, the gang met his absence, broke into his residence and ransacked the residence, injured his Elder brother, Staff, destroyed cars and properties worh of Billion naira”.

Speaking further, he described the Pst. Arc. Tonye Cole/Barikor ticket as the best for Ogonis and Rivers people, appeal to Khana electorates to vote for the APC gubernatorial candidate and all APC candidates , comes 2023. Adding that God did prepared Tonye Cole and he is coming as a Messiah to redeem Rivers people and no power's can stop his
manifestations.

While comforting Comr. Simeon and family , he prayed for God Divine protection, comfort , peace upon them all and encourage them to take solace in God plan of salvation for all his children's.

POWERS THAT BE HAVE DECIDED THAT TONYE COLE WILL BE THE NEXT GOVERNOR OF RIVERS STATE

This is the real reason Gov. Wike closed the EUI event center. The owner is an Igbo Man who has invested in his beloved city Port Harcourt. The real Port Harcourt boys gathered in the event centre to honour the Executive Director of NNPC; Engr Adokiye. The leadership of PDP in Rivers State under Atiku Abubakar were present.

Then, all of them; both the real owners of Port Harcourt and the Atiku faction of PDP on Wesnesday resolved to support the Governorship Candidate of APC; Tonye Cole was endorsed.

As they were all laughing with Pst. Cole, Wike Boyz informed him and he got angry and said it was a gathering of his enemies. Yesterday he sent Hoodlums to destroy the house of Sen. Meba who the National PDP has decided to give the Rivers State Guber ticket. All plans have been concluded to make sure Gov. Wike stooge; Sim Fubara is replaced by Sen. WHAT WIKE FEARS WILL DEFINITELY HAPPEN TO HIM.

I am told that Rivers Governor, Wike, using his rubberstamp state assembly, has passed a bill for second reading, to prohibit public advertising and use of state owned properties.

Am I surprised? No! Wike is afraid.

In few months since activities of the 2023 general election began, Wike’s has demonstrative shown he is afraid of a fair contests.

He has been sealing legitimate business premises, destroying opposition campaign material and promulgating decrees that are obnoxious to democratic practices.

He has been paving grounds for vote buying through appointment of over 200,000 pulling units aides.

This particular law against use of public places for campaign advert and gatherings been brought through the state assembly, is another exhibition of a defeatist mentality.

He is on the way to his colossal election defeat.

Wike has never won any election through a fair contest. He has always gotten himself into public offices through rigging and falsification of results.

This is the first time, if the use of the INEC BVAS is anything to go by, that he may be going through actual public scrutiny.

Hence he is terrified and fearfully doing whatever is within his powers to ensure he perpetuates his 3rd term agenda on Rivers people with little or no contest.

That thing, electoral contests Wike is afraid of, he will definitely see it. There's no two ways about it.

It would have been better he prepares for real election than chasing shadows in an attempt to run away from what will eventually happen to him.

What Wike and his assembly men do not know is that all these evil seeds they are sowing will hunt then when the clock turns around tomorrow.

Power is ephemeral, you either leave power or power will leave you one day. One thing that is certain, rain does not fall on one man's roof.

What Wike fears will definitely happen to him.

Following the orchestrated fears inflicted in the minds of the teeming grassroot supporters of the Rivers State APC Governorship candidate, Pst. Arch. Tonye Patrick Barinua Cole Mni, the Khana LGA chapter of TeamCole, a Pro- APC grassroot supporters, loyal and mobilizing electorates for her principal, Tonye Cole , has held another Strategies leadership meeting aimed at dissolving any ill-thoughts and injury inflicted in the minds of her people against our ultimate goal and mandate.

The meeting which was held at the Khana APC party Secretariat , Bori , on Monday December 5, 2022, had in attendance, LGA Executives, five Wards Executives , five Wards Stakeholders , GbobiaCole Chairpersons , and Heads of Welfare sub-Committees from the wards.

Addressing the participants at the meeting, the LGA Coordinator of TeamCole Khana, High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 of Africa, said that there is no court case against the APC as a party and her candidates in the forthcoming general elections. The Deputy Secretary 1 , Contact and Mobilisation, Rivers APC GCC maintained that what we have in Rivers State as court cases against APC and her candidates are mere distractions and waste of time. "There is no Court case against our great Party - APC in the state. Our Principal has no court case either. Not even our legislative candidates. What we have are just a mere delayed of our time and some programs" Mene Zaa stated.

The Nyokhana Political infantry general, who spoke through his Deputy, Comr. Nubor Optimist Goteh, was full of confidence that our principal, Pst. Arch. Tonye Patrick Barinua Cole Mni will contest the Governorship seat of Rivers State in the coming elections and will win overwhelmingly alongside other candidates of the party in the state .

"I want to assure you all that Tonye Cole will be on the ballot. He will contest and win. He will be sworn-in as the next governor of Rivers State come May 29, 2023. The leader and Coordinator of Teamcolekhana LGA, Deputy secretary-1 Contact and Mobilisation Committee, Rivers APC Governorship Campaign Council (GCC), High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 of Africa, said his principal, Pst. Arch. Tonye Patrick Cole Mni, will come out victoriously in the face of all the ligations against his candidature and he is unstoppable comes 2023.

The Political Octopus 1 in ogoniland, Mene Zaa 1 of Africa, said this during a media interaction with TeamCole Khana media in Bori, on Sunday 27/11/2022, stressing, “Tonye Cole didn't go against the Constitution which is supreme in the land but the judges in Rivers State have allowed themselves to be used as an instrument in the hands of Wike against our democracy.” According to Mene Zaa, Section 66 (1) and 28 of the 1999 Constitution didn't disqualify Tonye Cole from contesting next year’s Governorship election because of dual citizenship.

Mene Zaa, a member of Governorship Campaign Council (GCC) of Rivers APC described Tonye Cole as unstoppable ahead of next year’s election and challenged Wike-led Rivers PDP to come all out and test their popularity if they felt strongly that they are more on ground in the state than APC.

He urged Rivers people to be united and recover Rivers State from the PDP, because power belongs to the people. Mene Zaa, however, said it was a fail and fruitless tactics to demoralized Tonye Cole supporters accross parties, asked members never to think or moves in their support as Justice is near in the coming days.

On how the PDP have lost trust and contacts with the electorates, The Coordinator of Teamcolekhana LGA stated, “Despite the unrelenting attacks by the People's Democratic party (PDP ), as witnessed accross the LGAs, our Members and Rivers people have remained undeterred in the bid to rescue our state from the suffocating misrule of the Wike led PDP and his third term agenda. “However, as we prepare for the 2023 general election, the PDP is busy scheming to create tension, induce violence, frustrate the conduct of the 2023 general election and derail our democratic process, having realised that it does not have an eligible Governorship candidate for the polls and support base in the units, wards and LGAs in the state.

“It is no longer news that the Governorship candidate of the PDP, Mr. Siminayi Fubara Joseph, is irredeemably and hopelessly ineligible to contest the March 2023 Governorship election, having been reportedly indicted and subjected to criminal trial as judgement awaits him for life in prison.

“Rivers are, however, appalled by the lame attempt by the PDP, which after secretly admitting and knowing that all her hope is lost in 2023, Wike, is now desperately trying to pull a wool over the eyes of the Rivers people and our democratic institutions through his unconstitutional Executive orders.

“Seeing that they are technically out of the Governorship contest and further distraught, because it cannot also field candidates at all levels in the 2023 general election due to its illegal and unconstitutional primaries due to the Farrah's factor, the PDP has resorted to unleashing hoodlums to attack APC and supporters of Tonye Cole, the incoming Governor of our dear State, and other innocent electorates going about their legitimate endeavours, as witnessed just last week, in a bid to trigger crisis and scuttle the elections.”

Mene Zaa said further, “There are already apprehensions in the public space of unrefuted allegations that the PDP is behind the orchestrated attacks on her Presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar supporters and loyalists in the state. The plan of the PDP and Wike is to instil fear in the citizenry, disorganise and weaken other political parties, frighten and hamstring a free and faire conduct of the 2023 general election.

“The PDP and Wike must note that its schemes, denials, threats and resort to violence cannot help him and Sim Fubara as they have already being marked as candidacy of prison after May 2023.

“Having been summoned and duly invited by EFCC and CCB , as a suspected criminal of which he had deliberately shuned these invitations.

“Rivers now know why he had refused to participate in public functions even in media debates is to prevent Rivers from seeking answers from Siminayi Fubara with respect to the criminal allegations against him as well as other burning issues to which Rivers are entitled to know.

“Of course, our state cannot afford the embarrassment, shame, State indignity and stigma associated with a wanted criminal, especially, in the exalted office of the governor of a State .” D Pereperebo 1 of kalabari land insisted that Rivers could not handle the massive negative collateral damage such issue will have on the State image, economy as well as on businesses and legitimate endeavours of hardworking Rivers.

Mene Zaa 1 of Africa, has also tasked Mr. Sim to come out boldly and defend his reported link to the 117Billon fraud rather than hiding behind a finger and sending his supporters to attack other Rivers people. Zaa, said, “We insist that the burden before SIM is to cleanse himself of being linked to illicit funds rather than searching for scapegoats and pointing index finger on others whereas the remaining are pointing to his direction.

“Is it not absurd that rather than proving his innocence by personally telling Rivers the truth. This is very laughable!

“Wike and PDP, stop dreaming! Your party have being rejected by Rivers people, if you like, let 1,000,000, be your SAs. But what we know is that Tonye Cole is unstoppable, by the grace of God, He will contest the election, win, retire you (Wike) and finally stop you from perennially chasing the elusive third term trophy.” He finally appeals to Rivers electorates, saying, “When we work together to recover Rivers, then, we will make a bold statement that power truly belongs to the people. Let me remind you again, that the ultimate goal of the upcoming election is to recover Rivers from the suffocating grip of the PDP,” he stated.

The political organisation has called on the APC National Chairman, the spokesperson of APC, the presidential council to publicly and boldly condemn the gross injustice on the governorship candidate of APC Rivers State insisting that president Mohammadu Buhari should ensure that justice is served.

The group also said that the governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike is using the judges to oppress political parties in Rivers State, spending millions of naira on the judges and buyinv expensive SUV jeees just so, he can have them do his bids.

They have also aked their teeming members and coordinators across the 23LGA's in Rivers State to remain steadfast because, their Principal Pastor Tonye Patrick Cole has appealed the judgement believing that, justice will be gotten and surely win the 2023 Gubernatorial election in Rivers State

DR BARIKOR'S MESSAGE ON 27TH ANNIVERSARY OF OGONI MARTYRS

To my fellow Ogoni People and all friends and lovers of our struggle for justice and equity, I bring you very warm and passionate greetings on behalf of myself, family and associates.

It is with mixed feelings that I make this speech today, marking the 27th Anniversary of the execution of a cream of Ogoni leaders generally referred to as ‘Ogoni 13’. It is mixed feelings because while we reminisce on the pains and anguish undoubtedly associated with the incidents we are remembering today, we can as well count some gains the sacrifices of these heroes have brought to us (as Ogoni) and by extension the oppressed minorities across the world.

On this very day, November 10, 1995, Ogoni was thrown into unfathomable mourning with the execution of nine of her patriotic sons: Ken Saro-Wiwa, Barinem Kiobel, Paul Levura, Nordu Eawo, Saturday Dobee, John Kpuinen, Baribor Bera, Daniel Gbokoo and Felix Nuate, while on May 21, 1994, four prominent leaders of Ogoni: Chief Edward Kobani, Mr. Albert Badeh, Chief Samuel Orage and Chief Theophilus Orage, were also gruesomely murdered all through forces of the Nigerian State.

These incidents brought inexpressible repression on our people, even in the face of our globally applaudable peaceful struggle for justice.

We will continue to pay glowing tributes and honour them as we remember the supreme sacrifices these leaders have made, and remain committed to the ideals of the struggle for which they laid down their lives. They are truly martyrs of a just struggle.

I hold them in high esteem and also salute the courage and tenacity of other compatriots who have over the years continued to carry the flag and raise the torch that has made the sacrifice of our heroes alive.

The Stars are still shining and I have the conviction that too soon the Ogoni of our dream will be fully realized. This, however, calls for our sustained devotion and contributions, as we all play our parts peacefully and within the ambit of the law in ensuring that what our leaders, through divine wisdom enshrined in the famous Ogoni Bill of Rights are realized.

Commendably, these leaders have played their parts and have gone as heroes we are celebrating today. It is left for those of us, their progenies, to build on the successes of this struggle and make right choices in tackling the challenges facing us as a people.

On a day like this, it is important we take stock of how it all started, how far we’ve gone and the roles we have played individually or as an institution. It is a bitter truth and quite regrettable that if individual contributions to the struggle for which these heroes died were to be yardstick in determining who gets what in Ogoni, the story would have been different and sore in our mouths. I leave that for our conscience.

I will continue to identify with my people, not only on this solemn occasion but in our continued quest for better life and prosperity of the globally recognized indigenous people of Ogoni.

It is also imperative that we use this occasion to reflect on our future and the possibilities in our hands as a people without been driven by sensational impulsion.

Once again, I commend all compatriots of this struggle who have braved the odds over the years and urge you not to relent, for victory is sure.

As we remember our heroes, we also need to remind ourselves that peace, unity of purpose, justice and equity, dedication and sacrifice are the establishing principles of the struggle and we all should not only profess these but must be seen to be working towards achieving these for the growth and development of our people and the land.

The Struggle of our Heroes will not be in vain!

SPEECH DELIVERED AT THE INAUGURATION OF THE TONYE COLE GUBERNATORIAL COUNCIL AND LAUNCH OF MANIFESTO
DELIVERED ON THE 9TH OF NOVEMBER 2022

Good morning my esteemed elders of the party, the leader of our party, Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi CON, the Chairman of the party High Chief Emeka Beke, members of this great party, ladies and gentlemen welcome.

I am Tonye Patrick Cole, mni and I have the singular honour of being nominated by you to represent the wonderful people of Rivers State as the next Executive Governor come May 29, 2023. The journey to our victory next year began with the foresight Rivers State APC exhibited in putting me forward in 2018, which required great courage and deep love for you, the people of the State. That foresight is anchored on the need to depart from the norm whereby politics is not about service to the people but all about ‘chopping for the boys’.

We heard your desire to search for and elect a different type of political leader, one you can trust. The listening and caring type of leader who implements projects because of the transformative impact they would make in the lives of the citizens and not simply as an avenue of self-enrichment. Bridges built to open up communities to modern day development and not just flyovers built to nowhere or as conduits to satisfying ego and personal desires. When new roads are constructed, it should be for ease of transport of goods and services from hinterland communities to markets they otherwise would not be able to access.

When governments decide to provide houses for citizens, it should be considering those of you who have little or no hope of ever owning a home. Instead they should be building affordable homes with long term mortgage schemes and not personally taking over all government properties in Old GRA, Amadi Flat and GRA Phase 2 with impunity for themselves. This is not what democracy is meant to deliver and why we elected people to government. Rather, they have chopped alone and enriched themselves stupendously. In the process, they have betrayed our trust in them to lead us and condemned many of us to poverty.

Therefore, 2023 is both exciting and incredibly important. This election provides a unique opportunity for the Rivers people to reset the system and restore dignity to their lives again. For the first time in our history, your votes will count. You can be certain when you go out to the ballot and cast that single vote, it will not be stolen and given to someone else. The new Electoral Act and INEC through BVAS has changed the landscape of elections in Nigeria forever, by transferring the power of electing political leaders into the hands of the electorate and not to those with muscles and guns.

It is for this reason that they are afraid of us. They are very afraid, and you see it in their actions. By their fruits you will know them. Fear has fruits and we see it in the desperate attempt to prevent us from getting to the ballot by shamelessly using the institutions of state. They tried to attack my integrity by concocting a ridiculous criminal trial since their candidate has several counts of corruption hanging over him. He is wanted by the EFCC and just recently was invited by the Code of Conduct Bureau to defend allegations of ill-gotten wealth. He has refused to show. Their attempt of using subterfuge by bringing criminal charges against me fell flat. Instead of facing the people with their record of service, they have become even more desperate by introducing all kinds of obstacles intended to stop us from reaching the people.

We began door to door consultations months ago moving through all the LGAs ahead of when campaigns would officially begin. To stop us from campaigning, the State initially threatened to close and demolish any hotel and event center that allows us to meet on their premises, then went ahead to enact an illegal and unconstitutional Executive Order 20. What are they so afraid of?

APC has remained very conscious of the law and remains determined to operate strictly within the boundaries of electoral regulations. While waiting for campaigns to officially begin so we can erect billboards, they have utilized state resources to deny us spaces for billboards thus violating the electoral guidelines. They have even gone further to threaten billboard owners not to put up APC billboards. What they forget is that billboards DO NOT WIN elections. What indeed are they afraid of?

Our unprecedented ward to ward campaign yielded massive grassroot appeal, and in frenzy, they decided to embark on a vote buying exercise unparalleled in the annals of our politics, through the supposed employment of over 200,000 Special Assistant. The voter is not a fool, and they know exactly what is happening. For 8 years, they weaponized poverty and drove unemployment in Rivers State to number one in Nigeria at nearly 2 million people according to National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

Then four months to the election, they take a mere 1% of our unemployed youth whom they systematically impoverished by refusing to provide jobs and appointed them as SA’s to be used for elections that they will dump as they did in 2019. What of the 99% that remain unemployed? Will the four months vote buying scheme pay servants their salaries, pensions and gratuities as well? We are good people, but certainly not fools. They may have created poverty and made us hungry, but we are not stupid. What are they really afraid of?

Just like the rest of us, they know that the masses have not felt any positive impact of their government in the last 8 years and have decided to vote them out in 2023. The fear of this happening has made them even more desperate and caused them to run to court, to do everything in their power to ensure APC does not contest against them in 2023 as they will surely be soundly defeated. They secured a judgement against the party which we have filed an appeal and already they are boasting that the same judge is in their pocket and will deliver another curious judgement in a few weeks’ time on the issue of my dual nationality. Curious because in both cases, there are clear Supreme Court judgements that rule in favour of justice for all. Why are they so afraid as to go to any length to pervert justice?

We are an extremely wealthy and incredibly blessed State with unacceptably high poverty rates. How can you be in the river and use spit to wash your face? Our people are suffering and those elected to serve them are completely blind to their plight. Rather, what has preoccupied them has been how to get immunity at all costs, first trying to buy national acceptance, then when that failed, they have become a national comedy theatre group on tour. Now they want a third term Rivers State and are in desperate negotiations with any platform. Nigerians are not fooled and will not be willing to give them that safe landing they desperately seek at the expense of our commonwealth. Rivers State and her people can never be up for sale or collateral for a bargain for immunity. How can they sell Rivers State and the future of our children while we are still alive? We will not allow it. They cannot give what they do not have, and they do not have the mandate of the Rivers people for a third term nor the right to sell the State.

All these notwithstanding I am confident of victory in 2023. Why? Simply on three counts.
1. God is the true Judge and is not asleep. Power belongs to Him and not man.
2. We will be on the ballot in 2023. Nothing can stop this from happening. They will not take away your right to make a choice in who you can vote for.
3. You are fed up and want a fresh start, which Dr. Innocent Barikor and I offer you today. We will be your Governor and Deputy in 2023.

As I canvassed the State, I often make unscheduled stops to interact and converse with very ordinary men, women, and children. What I have learnt has both humbled and inspired me even as it has also saddened me to witness the plight of so many of our people firsthand. The needs of our people are very simple. They want a State that works and a government that cares. They would like to be able to fend for themselves without resorting to begging for everything…. Food, school fees, house rent, hospital bills, marriages and even burials. They don’t want to rely on big men or woman before getting a job or setting up a business. They want peace and security so they can move freely without fear of kidnapping. And they want electricity so they can operate effectively. All they want are the basic necessities of life.

It is based on this that we designed a manifesto that considered all we have heard from you these past few years so we can deliver a purpose driven and result oriented government to you. The manifesto we are unveiling to you has you at the core of everything we will do. The people come first and will be the parameter with which the policies we drive, and implement are centered. If any policy does not improve your life and well-being, we simply will not do it.

Our government will stand on three cardinal pivots that are all centered around you. First is SOCIAL WELFARE. We must address the basic things that concern your immediate survival and provide means to enable you stand on your own. Bringing as many of our citizens out of poverty is a priority for us. While this is going on, it is paramount that we bring back businesses that have fled this State in droves. Business responds to environments where peace and security thrive, attracting innovation and investments with it. PEACE & SECURITY forms the second pivot. However, to achieve it, impunity must end, and respect of the law must naturally be restored. These two provide the impetus for the third pivot to thrive and that is DEVELOPMENTAL INFRASTRUCTURE. Here we will invest in any form of infrastructure that will enable your development. From agriculture, education, health, entertainment, sports, to digital infrastructure. Provided it adds positively to improving your Human Capital Development, we will invest in it.

The positive thing in all of this, is the fact that you know and trust that I can do this. You know I have the experience to do these things as an entrepreneur that has represented Rivers State honourably, globally. I did not bring disgrace to the State but have either competed against or done business with global brands such as GE, Huawei, KEPCO, Saudi Aramco, Shell to name a few. I am not intimidated by global power and have sat with Presidents and world leaders in private meetings or shared podiums with them at international meetings, such as the World Economic Forum at Davos and the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

At home in Nigeria, the National Institute at Kuru provided me with skills required to close the gap I had in public policy and implementation, while granting me access to a deep pool of nation building talent. There is an incredible network at your disposal to develop Rivers State and achieve the vision I have of making us the number one destination to invest in Nigeria. We will surpass any economy in our country and compete favourably beyond the shores of our nation. Some already have a head start, but we have the determination to pursue and overtake.

My running for office is for you today and the future of our children tomorrow. I am not motivated by the treasury of Rivers state, so I am not running to steal and amass wealth. You know I am not in the race for access to power as I already attained that from a relatively young age. I am here by the grace of God to join hands with you to salvage our state from destruction. The office of the Governor is for the people and not the personal property of one individual emperor. In office, I will be Governor of all inhabitants and everyone residing or doing business in the State, and it won’t matter if you are in PDP, SDP, ACCORD, AA etc.

I know there are those who have been sent here from Brick House to spy on us and take our message back to the citadel subterfuge and conspiracy. You are most welcome in our midst today. Our message to you is simple. Rivers State needs good doctors and health workers to man the hospitals and health networks we will establish in government. We will need competent architects, engineers and town planners to construct the new cities, roads and bridges we will carry out across the state. The State will require coders, programmers, and all sorts of tech specialists to drive innovation over the fibre optic digital superhighway we will implement to provide internet connectivity state-wide. We will need exceptional teachers, lecturers and educationists that would revamp our educational base and prepare our children to compete with the world best for jobs of the future. We shall need expertise to revamp our ports and waterways to handle cargo and logistics to and from the new manufacturing and logistics industrial clusters developed in the State.

Indeed, we will build a state where all professionals will be glad to stay and practice without fear of the overbearing influence of little gods and emperors.

The possibilities are endless, and we will put in the framework that allows future governments to build on what we have started rather than jettison everything and litter our state with abandoned projects and wasted resources. So kindly pass this message back, if you have any of these expertise and love for the State, you too can be a part of the journey as all hands, whether APC, PDP, SPD, ACCORD or others, must join together to make Rivers State the greatest state in Nigeria.

Finally, before I end permit me one last ask. Every year, and certainly for the past 8 years, our people have suffered devastating floods some worse than others. This year has been particularly bad and as usual, all leading presidential and gubernatorial politicians have visited the flood zones. Just like at previous times, palliatives have been shared which is a pittance compared to what the people lost. As the waters recede our people are going back to their homes to pick up the pieces and start the struggle to make ends meet without any hope of further government intervention. Naturally they will be waiting for the flood next year and the cycle of perpetual poverty starts again.

I have developed a solution to resolve this problem and mitigate the devastating loss to the people annually. While I am prepared and will implement the solution from the day I am sworn in, the sooner the work starts the better. I would therefore like to offer the plan to the Rivers State Government for immediate action so that the people can benefit sooner rather than later in a long-lasting solution to perennial flooding. Kindly pass this message on and I would be glad to see the work commence.

At this juncture, I would want to thank all members of Rivers APC that have remained steadfast despite the odds. We have been offered incredible amounts of money to defect as a strategy to weaken us and some have succumbed including people we thought of as men of character and honour. Some have been deceived into believing that we would not be on the ballot and for fear of becoming politically irrelevant have moved to where they hope for glory. We wish them well, but they will be alive to see us win. Some have left out of anger that they did not get the ticket or support they expected to get. But the doors of the APC are still wide open and it can never be late for them to unite with the party that best offers Rivers people a better tomorrow.

Whatever justifications may have led them to leave, you had the same but chose rather to stay. The experience has forged us into a much better unit, there is far less rancour within our ranks, and we are a leaner, meaner fighting machine than ever before. I have seen a determination rising in the ranks of our people and a better understanding of the call of duty placed upon the shoulders of APC to the people of Rivers State. They are increasingly depending on us to stem the deterioration of their self-esteem and restore dignity to their lives. They know APC is the only party capable of taking on the real enemies of our state and defeating them.

I am deeply honoured to serve with you and truly grateful knowing the character and calibre of those who have remained in APC to forge ahead with me. As we inaugurate these gallant men and women into the Campaign Council today, I wish to commit us all to the hands of God and say, may His will be done in our lives and over Rivers State. God bless Rivers State.

*Mene Zaa: Governor Wike Should be a Candidate of prison, 100,000 appointees fail last antics to maneuver and manipulate 2023 Results*.

Former Khana Constituency 2 Assembly aspirant and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 Of Africa, says Governor Ezewon Nyesom Wike should have been jailed, and still a Candidate of prison for violating the rules and judgement of the Surpreme Court against Sir Celestine Omehia of his legitimacy to be addressed and named as a former Governor of Rivers State.

Mene Zaa said "Wike is supposed to be a Candidate of prison for recognizing somebody the Apex court of the land ruled that was not a legitimate Governor of Rivers State when he took over power in 2015. And now he (wike) has also seen it because they now have Political difference over the choosing of his cousin who is on the hiding for the fears of EFCC arrest, and now turned around to dethroned him (Omehia) as a former Governor, asking Omehia to return wasted Billions of Rivers monies".

He further expressed confidence in the judiciary that they will properly do their jobs when Wike leaves office and would be in jail.
"If it was a western or foreign country where the rule of law is obeyed and respected, wike and his Assembly Members are supposed to be a Candidates of prison.

"I trust our judiciary and have more confidence in them that they will do the needful because Wike as a lawyer can't deny or claim he was not aware of the supreme court judgement on this matter".

On Wike's request for Omehia to return the Billions of naira, High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae, advised Wike to ask his counterparts in sokoto and Benue who have also Betrayed him to as well return Rivers monies he donated in bribing them before Omehia who never seek for recognitions will refund.
"Let Wike ask Tambuwal, Orton and Emmanuel, etc, to also return all the Billions he donated to them just to gain their backing and supports in his Presidential bid"

Speaking on Tuesday 18/10/2022 in Bori , khana LGA during a media interaction with the TeamColekhana Media Crew, the Nyo-khana Political infantry General said he has also properly x-rayed the recent appointments of 100,000 PDP members as Special Assistants, Advisers and liaison officers. He faulted Wike's integrity and honesty in doing small things. "Wike do not have integrity in small things and cannot have integrity in big things like empowering and paying 100,000 members of his party.

Rivers people has been educated to make a choice for the sake of the State development."

Mene Zaa 1 Of Africa said Rivers people should know Wike's Political antics how he did same things in 2018 when he compiled names of chairmen and Councilors and at the end of the day, he said some chairmen and Councillorship Candidates who contested the elections will be liaison officers and Advisers to him because he was only using that as a political mathematics to win in 2019. He said Wike couldn't even paid them four months salary.

Speaking further, Zaa recounted how in 2018 prior to 2019 General Elections, Wike also paid his GDI and WSM members only three months stipends and abandoned them till date because they had suffered for him to win.

" This is what I called Political-timist, because this whole running up and down will not see the daylight. Wike has done it before in 2019 and he only paid them one month salary.
" What do wike knows about empowerments ? He Can't do it and my happiness is that even the PDP members are of the known this antics".

The TeamColekhana LGA Coordinator, High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 Of Africa, D Pereperebo 1 Of Kalabari land, further described the recent announcement of 100,000 appointees as a Political Rest In Peace for Wike-led PDP in Rivers State and as a " cove up in the employment of RSU" where only four persons were nominated from khana while over 500 from his own community .

"This is a distractions to Rivers people after securing a live and permeant jobs for his people and family. Let our youth be more wiser and shouldn't be bought over by this audio empowerments in their choice of Rivers of possiblities .

"Wike knows that Rivers people and his loyalist who had been dying in silence are angry and not happy with him. But the people already know who's Wike and his antics, he will be more disappointed by December."

How will he not be confused when he is fighting everybody both from Abuja and here? Rivers doesn't need 30,000 naira one Month payment after 7 years of no empowerments and employments.

"Wike knows he has been rejected completely and can be named as a prodigal son in the bible. Wike is in his stage of dementation because he has lost contact with the PDP National and others. Let him return home to his Father and Elder brother, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

"Special Assistants without appointment letter.
Advisers without appointment letter.

"Liaison officers without appointment letter".

Lamenting the situation we found ourselves in Rivers State under Wike-led PDP administration, Mene Zaa added that he read and heard this whole things on social media and by reliable friends in PDP.

“My friends in the PDP who brought this to my knowledge remarked that they did not believe in the process because it has always been Wike's tactics when he is been hooked up and needed helps from those he already neglected.

“In a situation like the one we are in, we can't rush to accept any kind of appointments without necessary procedures and well-defined principles and criteria. We need to be clear about what Rivers people needs today and why Rivers peop le needs it.

“Since 2015, we have not enjoyed any devidend of democracy under Wike. This is the worse administration in the history of Rivers State.

“And we seem to be progressively going back rather than going forward politically, economically and socially.

“We have activities without requite actions and personnel to move us forward. If we continue in the same pattern of recycling, sweet-word campaigning, manoeuvring without the substance of integrity, honesty, patriotism, commitment, outreach, courage, understanding of what makes a state and what make for development, we will soon have to say goodbye to Rivers State of our birth.

“I cast a cursory look at even his cousin, siminialayi Fubara Joseph he imposed on his party. someone that is running away from the EFCC and which if they have done their jobs properly and supported adequately by the judiciary, sim would be in jail by now .

As the political parties campaign draw nearer ahead of 2023 general elections, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in khana LGA, Rivers State and Coordinator of TeamColekhana , has said his NGO will soon commence door-door grassroots mobilisation with the formation of contact and mobilisation team that will make her Principal's ambition and mandate a reality.

The mandate of the team is to mobilize key non-APC stakeholders and members in the nineteen wards in khana local government Area to secure the ColeBarikor mandate at the forthcoming General Elections and eventually victorious in 2023.

Speaking to the TeamColekhana Media Crew at the Grandfinale of Teamcole Rivers State chapter held at the Rumuwoji community play ground, mile 1 Port-Harcourt, on Sunday, October 9, 2022, The Nyo-khana Political infantry General said the team will comprise of the Businessmen and women, the farmers and community Leaders from each Ward. *TeamCOLE Challenges Gov. Wike to stop using Rivers State Money to gift PDP Members in the guise of appointment*

It didn't come like a surprise but rather a shock to many people when the appointment of thousands of PDP Members into the Rivers State Government was pronounced by the Governor. This was just 48hrs after the Inauguration of Unit Excos of TeamCOLE in Obio-Akpor & Phalga that witnessed thousands of lovers of the APC Governorship Candidate in Wike's home town offering themselves to work for the victory of Arch. Tonye Cole at their various polling units.

So it was expected as Gov. Wike rushes to appoint 14,000 forgotten party members as political unit advisers showing clearly that PDP lacks ideas. Recall that the convener; Hon. REX DAVID during his speech at the Grand Finale of TeamCOLE Inauguration on Sunday 9th October 2022 at Ojukwu Field, Mile 1 accuses the Wike led administration of lack of empowerment and concern for the ordinary Rivers Man. And charges the people of the state to collect whatever bribe Gov. Wike will throw at them that he didn't give them for the past 7years. He told them that the money is theirs, so they should collect it and vote for Tonye Cole.

Gov. Wike has continue to use Rivers State money as his personal estate. Appropriating and distributing as he so wishes. And intensionally withheld every form of empowerment that could enrich the people until now, few months to the election so he will use their impoverishment as a tool to subject their wills to whatever he wants. In a state where pensioners and salaries are owed. No jobs for the youths were created for the past 7 years and the state ranks almost the highest in poverty index, one wonders where the money for this thousands of people that have been appointed have been all this while.

As the 2023 General Elections draw closer and parties begin her campaigns for their Candidates, fears terrible in the mind of many as their choices are been threatened, especially our youth of which many are inconsistency in choices and fears of favour. Many too are afraid of losing their friends and loved ones while many are already bought over with peanut and peni.

Well, many, the analysis or expository I am about to give will undoubtedly disappoint you . But today we are crying and regretting of the Wike-led PDP Government, same we had quickly forgotten how we caused it in 2015 and 2019 respectively. The time is now and it's before us again, especially the youth and it is important that I tell you this “Tonye Patrick Cole Mni has the ability to sustain the Rivers economy, and has access to the sources for business .”

For nearly eight years a pandemic of unemployment and mismanagement of economy proportions has enveloped our dear state, and while that plague brought a halt to almost everything socially, obviously it did not bring a halt to brutality, violence, and cruel aggression politically in our State and LGAs. As if that were not enough, we are still facing long-standing social, economic, employment, development, security and cultural challenges, ranging from economic deprivation to environmental desecration to ethnic inequity and more.
Such stiff winds and dark days can be discouraging to us ,the youth and Rivers people, those to whom we look for optimism and enthusiasm regarding the tomorrows of our lives. It has been said that “the power of youth is the common wealth for the entire world. The … Youth… are the faces of our … future.” Furthermore, our Youth and children are the trustees into whose hands the destiny of this State will be placed.
Given our current times, it is understandable if the idealism of the youth is waning a little. In respect to this phenomenon, I have noted how painful it is to see so many bright, young students, graduates, businessmen and women, mothers, fathers and adults, desperately “looking for something they’ve lost” or, worse yet, longing for something they never had.
My plea today to our youth, Mothers, fathers, businessmen, Women and to you electorates, it's time we advise ourselves, is time to begin your search for happiness by embracing a man and Candidate in whom God has sent.
At precisely the moment many in the state are asking deep questions of the brighter and feature of Rivers State, we ought to be answering with the “good news” of *Pst. Arc. Tonye Cole Patrick Mni* The Gubernatorial Candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, which holds aloft the mission and message of possibilities to Rivers State, offers the most desired significant way to both find good and do good at such a needful time.

This process need some bold steps and activity which supporting and campaigning for Pst. Tonye Cole is one of such and defending our votes is another among many others. These are a few of the reasons we give for “the hope that we now have.”
Of course, in our present Rivers today , tremendously difficult issues face us as youths and as a State . Many are not resolved to the satisfaction of everyone, perhaps they constitute part of the cross Pst. Arch. Tonye Patrick Cole Mni would have to take up in his administration. It is precisely because there would be dark days and difficult issues that God now sent Pst. Arc. Tonye Patrick Cole Mni to the people of Rivers State. And above all, God will grant us the power to finish the course.

So please, please, Pst. Arch. Tonye Patrick Cole Mni, the Gubernatorial Candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, is the Man for the job. Fear not; believe and make We Do Am!!

To any of our and my Dear youths out there who are struggling, whatever are your concerns or difficulties, death by suicide is manifestly not the answer. It will not relieve the pain we are feeling or that we think we are causing. In a state that so desperately needs all of us to get it right, please may we not minimize our determination and commitment to this course. Talk to ourselves, someone. Do not destroy or repeat same mistakes of 2015 and 2029, let now preserve our dear state. You can bear the struggles of this course because we can help one another. You are stronger than you think. Rivers State Peace and Security summits for Governorship Candidates by concerns Rivers people to reconcile warring Governorship candidates and creates peacefully Rivers State ahead of march 2023 governorship election in the state met a brick wall on the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate on Friday 23/9/2022, as Siminialayi Fubara stayed away from the peace parley called by the Stakeholders.

In the past, such occasion used to feature who is who in the state, especially by the ruling party ,in Rivers State, the PDP but this time around, things have turned upside down as the party was already polarised into the Farah and Wike camps.

The case of EFCC vs siminialayi Fubara, is another factor. The case of PDP Gubernatorial Candidate in the 2023 Elections is presently like a pregnant woman that doesn’t know the actual day the baby in her womb would come forth.
Like before, Others prominent members of the ruling party (PDP) in the state were conspicuously missing as her crises deepened both at the state chapters and central as some factions held parallel Leadership meeting while others boycotted the said meeting entirely few days ago.

The continued searched for siminialayi Fubara by the EFCC is no more News and strange to Rivers people of which he intend to lead. You can Vividly recalled that on the Sunday 18/9/2022, Sim Fubara also shun the Ikwere PDP Elders and Chiefs meetings initiated by him upon hearing of his ambushed by EFCC, absent himself for the feared of arrest. A situation which also angered the Elders and Chiefs especially when they saw the Deputy Governorship Candidate, Prof. Ngozi Odu arriving from her Car alone. Siminialayi Fubara, Rivers PDP Governorship Candidate, is facing N117Billion fraud charged and he is wanted by the EFCC. He has escaped attempted arrest by the operatives of anti-graft agency , twice.

On Friday September 23, 2022, ahead of 2023 Governorship election in the state, the Rivers Peace Initiative summits was Organised to appeal and seek dialogue among the contestants to ensure a peaceful 2023. This events took place at onyx Hall, Atrium Events Center , stadium Road PortHarcourt, Rivers State. On this notable and historic event, again , the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, siminialayi Fubara was missing due to the continues ambushed and fear of EFCC arrest. This situations is worrisome and have continue to generates negative reactions from well meaning Rivers.

Speaking to media crew at the event, one of the organizers noted that the Rivers Peace Initiative was not put up to witch-hunt anybody, adding: “ the key mandate is to bring everybody along. “If today the people of Rivers State and electorates has ask us to give way to peace, we will give way. We will not waste one moment to say let there be peace because it's about the people". He said .

Appealing to PDP to seek dialogue, he stressed that while the events, which will swing in any direction, legitimacy of any leadership truly lies with the people. Congratulating all the participants including the APC Gubernatorial Candidate, H.E Pst. Arc. Tonye Cole Patrick Mni and the AAC Candidate Hon. Dawari George on their successful participation and high manner maintained during the summit.

Today, however both the major political parties are in crisis with the PDP umbrella seen to be in tatters courtesy of the internal wrangling and bickering occasioned by the primary election held. The fight between Wike and Atiku, Wike vs Ayu, Wike vs Farah, Fubara vs EFCC etc. So there's a need for peace parley and it's unfortunate the PDP candidate didn't show up.

One wonders if Fubara, PDP and Governor Wike can't commit to peace how can they preach it to govern a complex state like Rivers State.

The APC Chieftain who said there was no basis of comparing Tonye Cole with other Governorship candidates disclosed that “out of all the parties Governorship candidates, Tonye Cole is the only one with Governorship campaign experience”, adding that most of other candidates are running for the office of the governor for the first time.

“There is no doubt in my mind that if given the opportunity to become Rivers Governor in 2023 Tonye Cole will bring to practice his experience and consequently take Rivers State out of the present socio and economic decadence,” he assured.

The Nyo-khana Political infantry boosted that ward 3 Lueku, Nyokuru, Khana LGA is already settled for APC and Tonye Cole, and so as other wards in khana LGA, comes 2023.

*2023: Tonye Cole Will tackle insecurity, revamp Rivers economy. ~ Mene Zaa 1 Of Africa*.

Pst. Arc. Tonye Cole Patrick Mni, All Progressive Congress (APC) Rivers Gubernatorial Candidate will rescue the State from the current spate of insecurity and work with experts to revamp the state economy when elected Governor after the 2023 Governorship election.

High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 Of Africa, TeamColekhana LGA Coordinator, represented by his Deputy Coordinator, Comr. Nubor Optimist Goteh, stated this on Wednesday 21/9/2022 when addressing Ward 7, Bua Bangha, Members of TeamCole during the Gbobiacole Wards and PVC Collection sensitization tour in Bionu Town.

He said the State was in a precarious situation which needs urgent intervention from committed and focus leader to save it from total collapse.

The Nyo-khana Political infantry General , advises, educates the Women's forum on the needs of collecting their PVC and to vote their conscience and not ‘moneybags’, or sell their votes saying that they should not mortgage the future of Rivers and their children.

He noted that Rivers must work for everyone again and that under the leadership and administration of Pst. Arc. Tonye Cole Patrick Mni, Rivers would be united for progress.

The Coordinator stated that there was need to address the economy, security and other challenges facing the State , adding that the Gbobiacole should be united as the Team and our great party APC are now more united to rescue Rivers State.

” We have never seen this kind of situation before where our Women's will come out in this numbers for any Political events. This is a clear indications that the Khana women's truly loved Tonye Cole and are determined in unity to flush this Government, where corruption has been taking to the next level. It is no more safe for a whole Governorship Candidate to move freely around or even attend meetings in the state because of the fears of EFCC. The collections of your PVC from the INEC office is the beginning of the process and do not allows any one of them to take turn to lobby you.

” The Governance job is a tasking one and we cannot be experimenting anymore. Our standard bearer must be clear with the Rivers vision and understand the task ahead,” Mene Zaa said.

Mene Zaa further stressed that the APC Governorship Candidate ,pst. Arc. Tonye Cole Patrick Mni, is equipped with the required knowledge to move the State forward from where Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi stopped .

According to him,”Pst. Tonye Cole is the bridge between the old and the younger generation of Rivers, the women's and men's . What we lack in this state today is good leadership and resource management. We must consider Candidate who has the people at heart and can listen to you when you need his attention . Age, capacity, character, and experience are factors to be considered in choosing our next Governor . Tonye Cole will never be a dictator”.

He advised the Gbobiacole and members of the Team to be united ahead of the 2023 general elections in order to wrestle power from the ruling People's Democratic party (PDP) in the state, adding that Khana LGA is crucial to the development and progress of Rivers and will do everything possible to make Tonye Cole wins in khana.

*N117Billion Fraud: Rivers PDP Governorship Candidate, Sim Fubara shun Ikwere Chiefs and Elders as EFCC Ambushes Him*.


As the 2023 general elections draw closer, consultations and discussions on political parties and her candidates are becoming the concerns to her electorates by the day, including our Chiefs and Elders, Religious Leaders and Ethnic groups. In Rivers State, every patriotic Rivers sons and daughters would wish that the next Governors be properly screened before giving her support . They also wish the elections should be peaceful, free from any violence and altogether fair. These are the the prayers on every lip gravitating towards peace and order in this political season. If politicians were to play by the rules and show some respect for the sanctity of human life, these anxieties about peaceful elections would have been unnecessary. Can our Candidates and incoming Governors be free from crimes, especially financial crimes? Can our politicians exercise firm control over their supporters? These are pertinent questions in the mind of every electorates.

It is obvious that some states like Rivers State may likely attract more than the normal attention of local and international observers. In the case of Rivers state, the signs are already very glaring, because of the antecedents of Mr. Siminialayi Fubara , the governorship flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rivers state has all eyes on him as the Campaign and elections approach. The entire Rivers People are standing amazed, asking and watching" Will only Wike and Sim defeat a whole Federal agency's (the EFCC) and can't the EFCC bring a wanted looter of our collective resources to book?

The thinking community in the state may be justified in their apprehension because of the style of the man who preferred and imposed a fugitive on the state. Sim Fubara is on EFCC watchlists and he is on the run. He is said to be hiding in the Rivers State Government House for the fears of EFCC.

Well, there are indications that the EFCC has not relent on their search and arrest of Mr. Sim Fubara. Few days ago, Mr. Sim Fubara was ambushes by the EFCC on his way to interacts with the Chiefs and Elders Ikwerre Land. The visits was initiated by the Rivers PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, siminialayi Fubara and was a well publicized event for weeks, but he failed to attend his own event.

It gathered that during the weekend, Sunday 18/9/2022, Sim Fubara again, in course of avoiding arrest by the EFCC, absent himself from his consultations meeting organized with the Ikwere LGA'S PDP Chiefs and Elders. A situation that had angered and raised some concerns among the Chiefs and Elders from the ethnic group as they see it to be a deliberate attempt, unknowing to them that Mr. Sim had already gotten the noticed that he has already been ambushed by the EFCC.

A reliable source closed to one of the chief confirmed how disrespectful and angered they felt when they saw Prof. Ngozi Odu, his Deputy, come down alone. He also narrated how regrettable they felt of all his assurance to be present.

He also confirmed that they used almost two weeks to carried out major publicity's of the events both on print, electronic and traditional medium of communication, Invitation, billboards and banners as well as organizing cultural play as they were compelled to do so by the power that be.

I am sure some of them may not had been of the know or are pretending or doing eyes service to Governor's Wike. Mr. Sim Fubara coming was to interact with the said Chiefs and Elders. Little do they know that the EFCC will get the knowledge of it and ambush the entire areas for the arrest of the wanted PDP Governorship Candidate. And when he finally heard of it, he said "it seem this is a set up by some of these chiefs and Elders that they can not be trusted ". He reluctantly send his Deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu to represent him .

A situation that is said to be a total disrespectful to the chiefs and Elders, and the entire Ikwere land .

Recalled that on Tuesday June 7, 2022, some supporters of the Rivers State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Sim Fubara beat up officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on that Tuesday night when EFCC operatives attempted to arrest Mr. Fubara as the chartered plane carrying him and other PDP members landed at the Omagwa Airport in Rivers State from Abuja.

The operatives were beaten as they made to arrest the PDP flag bearer who had gone to Abuja to receive his certificate of return. It was unclear if the anti-graft agency officials suffered serious injuries. The EFCC had declared the PDP candidate wanted over a N117 billion alleged fraud. So the continue ambush on Mr. Sim Fubara by EFCC is a clear indication that he is a wanted Fugitive and can be arrested anytime .

If as just an Accountant General, he embezzled N117Billion, what will happen if he eventually becomes the Governor? And if Mr. Sim Fubara believes he is innocent, let him go and defend himself so he can be moving Freely to avoid disrespecting our respected Chiefs and Elders.

Celebrating a legend who has distinguished his/herself as a model to emulate is always a veritable tool for the younger generation to lean on and spur higher in life.

This was the case of members of TeamCole Khana LGA when the leadership of the sociopolitical group drumming and galvanizing supports for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate in Rivers State, decided to come together and celebrate the 49th birthday of her LGA Coordinator, High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 of Africa.

The birthday event tagged: "Mene Zaa 1 @ 49" was held on Thursday, 15th September, 2022 at Kouple Villa Hotel, No. 80,Court Road, Bori.

The birthday celebration was preceded by a brief church service with praise/worship and intercessory prayer sessions for TeamCole and the the celebrant at Jesus The Almighty Ministry, No. 1 Taabaa Road, Bori, by 10.00am same day.

Thereafter, the teaming supporters of TeamCole and admirers of High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP returned to the venue of the event for the part two of the birthday programme.

The birthday event then commenced proper at the event centre with the LGA PRO/Media Director of TeamCole Khana, Comr. Confidence B. Jacob moderating. Powerful goodwill messages and solidarity speeches were poured out in honour of the celebrant. Notable among the messages were the words of advice and encouragement from our LGA officers among whom are: Eld. Maxwell Beeaape. Nwigogbo, Secretary; Lady Rechael Kanwilugbenenu Kpeeka, LGA Woman Leader; and Engr. Clifford Dumlesi Kporaye, Organizing Secretary.

The women wing of TeamCole Khana LGA has been described as a veritable tool for the electoral victory of our Principal, Pst. Arch. Tonye Patrick Barinua Cole mni come 2023.

This was made known by the Coordinator of TeamCole Khana LGA, High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 of Africa, and the Pereperebo 1 of Kalabari Land, at Kaani-Babbe Town, ward 17 khana LGA during the ward to ward tour and Gbobia Cole inauguration.

The TeamCole Coordinator Khana maintained that by statistics, women constitutes the highest number of voters in the state, hence, having a women group like the Gbobia Cole who are out on daily basis to massively woo voters in support of our Principal is a sure way of ensuring the victory of our principal come 2023 governorship election in Khana and the entire state.

The Nyokhana political infantry general, High Chief Deekae JP was of the opinion that with the way the Gbobia Cole is spreading their membership across board in support of our principal, they remain a veritable tool for ensuring that our principal, Pst. Arch. Tonye Patrick Barinua Cole mni is overwhelmingly voted into office come 2023. "You are our pride, our foot soldiers, and our veritable tool for electoral victory" he stated.

Represented by his Deputy, Comr. Nubor Optimist Goteh, Mene Zaa 1 of Africa reiterated the importance of women in winning elections in the present day Nigeria and urged all women to be steadfast as they remain an integral part of the TeamCole project.

Worthy of note is the fact that the Gbobia Cole wards Tour is used to sensitize women more about the need for collection of their PVCs and the use of it.

The Team led by the LGA Deputy Coordinator, Comr. Nubor Optimist Goteh, also on their arrival paid visits to some of the party stalwarts and stakeholders of TeamColekhana.

The Gbobia Cole wards tour team also visited Wards 15 - Gwara, Eeken, Kaa , Kanor, Luawii, and Ward 6 - Kaani, same day where executives of those wards were inaugurated and charged to be more proactive in the task placed before them.

TeamColekhana LGA is leaving no stone untuned as all nooks crany in the 19 Wards are yearning positive result for the team in favour of her principal, Pst. Arc. Tonye Patrick Barinua Cole mni.
