The judiciar, of all the three arms of government is the only one with the unique powers to whittle down the excesses of the other two arms of government. Where they act ultra vires their powers, the judiciary is constitutionally empowered to 'clip their wings' and declare their acts as illegal, unconstitutional, null and void!
Again, in a democracy, there can be no absolute separation of powers. That's the reason the executive is saddled with the powers to appoint members of it's executive, while the legislature which is a separate arm of government comes in to screen, accept or reject the nominees.
What actually operates is "cooperation" as opposed to a total "separation" of powers in a presidential system of government. What the judge has done in the recent case of Section 84 (12) of the EA is akin to what the legislature does by rejecting a ministerial nominee of the Executive arm of government which is ordinarily the arm saddled with the task of appointing ministers. If the legislature has powers to reject a nominee made by the executive, it therefore goes without argument that the judiciary has the unbridled powers to reject and 'cast out' any legislation by the legislature where such offends against the Constitution.
Those who posit that the judiciary lacks powers to strike down offensive legislations and that it offends against the principle of separation of powers are also unwittingly saying that the legislation has no powers to reject a ministerial nominee proposed by the executive! That would no doubt be a startling proposition of law that would make nonsense of the doctrine of checks and balances.

*South East BBIGN Meet, Strategise on More Plans to Encourage Chibuike Amaechi to Declare For Presidency*

The South East section of Bridge Builders Initiative For Green Nigeria (BBIGN) have concluded plan on the possible way to encourage the Honourable Minister of Transportation, His Excellency Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi to declare his intention to run for the presidency.



In a meeting held in Abia Hotel Umuahia, Abia State on Friday 4th March 2022, the group resolved to undertake a solidarity march within Abuja metropolis for the Honourable Minister of Transport, hoping that such move will finally encourage him to join the race.


Addressing the press immediately after the meeting, the National Vice President South East of BBIGN, Hon. Austin Okezie said that the group was determined more than ever to do whatever is humanly possible that can help persuade His Excellency Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi to join the presidential race. In his words, “we are determined to push further with our quest to encourage the Honourable Minister of Transportation, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi to declare for presidency. We have been working on this for a long time now through the able leadership of our National President Dr. Emmanuel Chigoziri Orgwu. Across the federation, diferent state and goepolitical zonal chapters of our group have held so many symposia and town hall meetings, showcasing the rare qualities and achievements of the Honourable Minister of Transportation Rt Hon. Amaechi.

Just few weeks ago, the Northwest Chapter held their town hall meetings in Zamfara State, which followed the one done by South East in Owerri Imo State about two months ago. The same has happened in the North Central, North East, South West and of course South South.



Hon. Austin Okezie further indicated that they were getting impatient and unhappy that the Honourable Minister was yet to declare for the presidency. He said, "generally, we are not happy that up till now, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi has not declared his intention to join in the presidential race. We, especially those of us in the South East and Igboland in general cannot afford to allow such rare breed and excellent public servant to elude us as the president of Nigeria, especially now that APC has shown strong indication to zone the presidency to the South.

The Honourable Minister of Transportation Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi has all it takes to be a good president of Nigeria. The whole country has seen what he has achieved in the transportation sector, especially in the rail and marine subsectors.

The quality of our rail services are so impressive that some people even doubt if really such world-class services exist here in Nigeria. Thus we are sure that Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi will help deepen the developmental efforts of this present government, and we believe so many Nigerians will support and vote for him during the elections, irrespective of party or ethnic affiliations because His Excellency Chibuike Amaechi has really proved that he has the interest of the generality of Nigerians at heart. And his achievements in Rivers State when he was the governor was a milestone.

Continuing, "every new day, we keep expecting to hear the news of his declaration, but the news is yet to come hence our meeting today to strategize on what more we can do to help persuade and encourage him to declare. This we are doing in strong collaboration with our other chapters all over the federation under the visionary leadership of our National President Dr. Emmanuel Orgwu".

This view was supported by Hon. Anthony Uduama, the South East Zonal Coordinator from Ebonyi State; the National Director of Education And Content Development Mr. Onah Obiora from Enugu State; the South East Youth Leader Mr. Chikezie Ayajuru from Imo State; and the South East Director of Transport And Logistics Mr. Grant Okeigbo from Abia State.

AMAECHI: UNDOUBTEDLY THE BILLMAN.~ REV. GOGO OBILOR

A National frontline Pro-APC political pressure group, Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria, BBIGN, led by a young political strategist and thinker from Ikwere LGA, Rivers State, Dr. Orgwu Emmanuel Chigoziri, has hit new heights with the recent town hall meetings conducted in all the Local Government Areas of Rivers State.

In Oyigbo, the well-attended event attracted APC stalwarts, traditional rulers, religious leaders, heads of NGOs, as well as lovers and supporters of APC and the Hon. Minister of Transportation, Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

Earlier the BBIGN's team were heartily welcomed to Oyigbo by Hon. Osondu Ule, the Oyigbo LGA Coordinator by performing the traditional rites of breaking the kola nut, and thence, remarked that the Town Hall Meeting was highly crucial as it has become expedient to fashion out new approach in achieving our aspirations.

His words; “this is not a meeting to be treated with levity. The future of our children and that of the next generation shall be determined by the decisions we reached today" He went further to posit that "we are confronted with varied challenges mostly the issue of insecurity and therefore the fundamental conversations should border on how these challenges can be surmounted in order to improve the socio-economic status of the common man; bridging the gap between yesterday and tomorrow. To him the house must be put in order and be ready to change priorities.

“Our current situation is the repercussion of bad leadership at the State levels. The 2023 election presents an opportunity to rebuild Rivers State in particular and Nigeria in general”.

“The process to rebuild starts by having your voters card to enthrone credible leaders who possess the right combination of character, competence, capacity, and compassion for the people and I plead that sentiments shouldn't becloud your sense of judgment as proponents of green Nigeria".

Rev. Gogor Obilor, the BBIGN State Organizing Secretary in his goodwill message, described Amaechi as competent, capable and the most prepared for the leadership of Nigeria.

While encouraging the Oyibo leadership and members to mobilize for our principal, said Amaechi had acquitted himself creditably both as Governor of Rivers State and Minister, especially as he is bent on delivering the best railway system ever in Nigeria.

Rev. Gogo said, as the Muhammadu Buhari administration winds up, the country needed a courageous, hardworking and widely accepted person with good knowledge of the system, to carry on with the ongoing infrastructural development that can sustain the country in spite of multifarious challenges and insisted that "Amaechi, undoubtedly, is the billman".

The South South Zonal Director of Welfare , Madam Tina Ojimadu (JP), admonished women to be courageous and proactive in galvanising their fellow women.

She also described Amaechi as a detribalised Nigerian with widespread acceptance, cutting across ethnic divides.

"Amaechi’s detribalised nature was the reason he was recently turbaned as Dan Amanar Daura in far away Katsina State".

Madam Tina added that the Town Hall Meeting is just the beginning of the many meaningful programs BBIGN under our dynamic National President Dr. Orgwu Chigoziri is about to organize to support, promote and project the Minister of Transportation Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Ameachi and APC Nigeria, not without nudging him to resign and contest for the office of the President in 2023.

The State Co-ordinator Hon. Afonya Anabaraba, expressed satisfication with the attendance, and scored them high. In his usual manner, sued for peace and oneness amongst members, calling on everyone present to eschew bitterness (which can lower the morale of members) and resolve theirs concerns amicably.

Hon. Afonyaa highlighted benefits of the meeting and intimated them of the South South and South East Zonal rally, which will hold in March, 2022 as well as
the Rivers mass movement for Amaechi. He informed members of existing rapport between the Party's (APC) leadership and BBIGN. Also assured the mammoth crowd that APC will win 2023 elections in Rivers State and Nigeria.

Finally, he applauded the Oyibo LGA as one of the LGA's that worked with their leaders. He thanked them and promised to report back to the National President.

"The people are looking up to us, so we must not disappoint them” he concluded.

TOWN HALL MEETINGS: BBIGN WORKING ASSIDUOUSLY WITH APC AS AMAECHI'S SIMPLICITY & HUMILITY ENDEARED ELEME PEOPLE AND NIGERIANS TO HIM


The climax of the series of town hall meetings held across the twenty-three Local Government Areas of Rivers State, by the Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria, BBIGN, a Pro-APC political pressure group loyal to the Minister of Transportation Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, once again speaks volume of the group's effort to recruit and mobilize people for the party.

The Rivers South-East Senatorial Coordinator, Amb. Jigo Amadi Nkani, in his address said the resultant effect of the town hall meetings cannot be over-emphasized as those who erroneously felt that BBIGN might not survive without them are already jittering. More so, it is a signal to other political parties that the APC shall be a hard nut to crack come 2023.

“Since we started the town hall meetings, it has shut the mouth of politicians who berates APC as dead in Rivers State. Thus, they now know who is more on ground and to state the contrary, defines them as surrogates of Devil, the liar” he said.

He further asserted that, the town hall meetings including, the one of Eleme, held at Onne with relevant stakeholders in attendance was to revitalize the body towards the realization of victory during 2023 general elections.

According to him, it is one reason he is working assiduously for the party and he is sure the party is happy as well, having noticed the support from the Eleme people, mostly those who believed in the body's ability to salvage the State in collaboration with the APC to regain power come 2023.

Amb. Jigo said Amaechi's simplicity and humility have so much endeared the people of Eleme and Nigerians to himself. These are virtues he reiterated as the minister's life principles which is cherished by all.

He said, recounting Amaechi's qualities will be an uphill task but to say the least, his is a man that sticks and fulfills his promises, and a man whose “Yes” remains yes and “No” remains no. At the moment, he cannot be described or associated with politicians who use people and dump.

The Senatorial Coordinator, while expressing his happiness on the success of the Town Hall Meeting in his Senatorial District, particularly thanked the State Coordinator, Hon. Afonyaa Anabraba for chosen to tour the 7 LGAs of District, again he extended his appreciation to the National President, Dr. Orgwu Emmanuel while also thanking the Director of Non-indigene, Mr. Daniel Maikaffi for his doggedness in mobilising his people, and other members of BBIGN to obtaining PVC for their elegibility to vote for Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as Nigeria's President and all APC candidates in Rivers State come 2023.

The young and youth friendly politician intimated the State Leadership of the Rivers South East Senatorial District plan to host a mega rally at Bori, in solidarity with the State organ to further mobilize and call on the Minister of Transportation, Rt. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi to contest the forthcoming Election as Nigeria's president come 2023.

Mr. Daniel Maikaffi, the Senatorial Non-indigene Director who spoke in Hausa language, said their people had communicated to them that Rt. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is the only trusted one they can support and vouch for.

"We are not alone and can't take decisions for ourselves here.
Our people and Leaders at home had directed us to support and work for Amaechi via BBIGN and APC .
"The crowd you see here today is just a test-run to what we are having in mind for Amaechi come 2023, in Eleme and Rivers State".

Bishop Dr. Christian Deekor the deputy Coordinator BBIGN Rivers State enumerated his humble begining, specially citing the huge role Comr. Jigo and other Eleme indigenes played when he contested as a Senator even though, he didn't win seat. Furthermore, he appreciated and encourage them to keep the tempo high .

"Don't relent in your endeavours, our leader, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi knows us and he will surely reward us in due course.

"Together, the Senatorial District has been in control of those that have Amaechi at heart and will deliver Amaechi and APC come 2023".

In his interactions, the State Coordinator Hon. Afonyaa Anabraba, said the essence of the Town Hall meeting is to discuss with members and know their challenges. He highlighted the purpose of the ongoing BBIGN Town Hall Meeting in the State and further informed the crowd that on the 6th day of March, 2022, South- South and South-East Zones of BBIGN will be holding a mega rally to call on the Minister of Transport to contest for 2023 Presidency.

He said ,the second one will be a street walk calling on Amaechi to come and contest for 2023 presidency which will happen in Port Harcourt.

Hon. Afonyaa reiterated the fact that the Leader of APC and Minister of Transportation acknowledges the efforts of BBIGN. He adviced the Leadership of Eleme BBIGN to jointly work with APC party Leaders to move the party forward.

"Work with your party leaders, always discuss with them of our programmes, but don't beg them for money.
Invite and inform them of all your activities to move the party forward".

After members responses on their predicaments; solutions were proffered accordingly

CONGRATULATION ON YOUR EKPAA-OSILA.

Brief History of ekpaa-osila in Eleme traditions:

Ékpãã in Eleme language means “ritual “, while Osila means “first daughter”. The Ékpãã Osila simply means a cleansing ritual for the first daughter.

Being an Osila is not just a name, it is equally a title that is earned. Howbeit, it is inherently a birth title. A title that allows you to be entitled to certain rights in Eleme traditions . For example, the Eleme culture forbids anyone else to eat the tail of a chicken and goat except the Osila.

According to the Eleme core traditional beliefs, the marriage of Osila may not be successful without the Ékpãã Osila ritual. A ritual that many believe it is barbaric!
This culture involves some processes that must be meticulously followed.

First of all, the Ékpãã Osila is purely done to sanctify the first daughter against any form of miscarriage and the problem associated with still birth as well as her inability to deliver successfully. The financial burden of this purification is the sole responsibility of the bride’s parents.


The needed items for this cleansing include: a big dried fish, seven rackets of afari fish, seven rackets of ebo-kpina fish, seven rackets of dried mudskipper, half loco of cray fish, a native calabach, two baskets, two kitchen chairs, a keg of palm wine, a bunch of breakable palm fruit, a life native he goat, a branch of raffia leaves, a fathom of njiri wrapper,

This tradition is done in the bride’s father’s compound after the bride has been traditionally married and it is presided over by the land priest of the community.

This Ékpãã Osila takes place on a day the Eleme people call Õkõõ or Mmā and commences any moment after 4pm in the evening. At the heart of the bride’s father’s compound, the land priest keeps two kitchen chairs close to each other. In front of the first kitchen chairs is the raffia leaves erected. The Osila on whose head this purification is performed sits on the chairs in front while an elderly married Osila (her guide) who has previously performed this ritual, sits behind her with both of them half dressed; covering only breast and bum. The priest libates and places the calabach upon the head of the bride. As she is about to go fetch the water, the native gun powder will be shot once. Then she will be escorted by the elderly married Osila (her guide) and other women to go get water, when she gets there, she is received by her elder brother or an elderly man from her father’s compound; who helps to fetch the water for her. After filling the calabach with water, she starts her journey back home but this time, she is not expected to talk to anybody or look behind until she gets home. On getting home, the native gun powder is shot and she is received by her husband the groom who helps her bring the calabash down from her head and spray her some money.

After that she will sit again on the kitchen chairs with the older Osila also behind her and the priest will put a wrapper on her head then proceed to place the bunch of breakable palm fruit on her head and then proceed to use the machete to cut it seven times. Immediately after that, with taale penny (equivalent of #40) in her both hands she will hit he goat seven times on the stomach. Thereafter the priest lifting up the goat slits the neck and on her head allowing the blood oozing out to pour on her. The items bought are cooked and eaten by every one present except the married Osila who has not perform this tradition or who is not yet married.

Meanwhile, anyone who drinks or eat there will pour or rub a little on the Osila’s body.

At the end of the whole process, the bride will be given a mat to sleep on without bathing till the following morning. In addition, the venue of the purification will not be swept until the morning and when finally swept, it would be poured at the foot of a plantain tree. Thereby making the plantain the bride’s own.

And like a magic wand, the efficacy is never in doubt as any Osila who previously could not conceive after several years of marriage, is reportedly pregnant after performing the Ékpãã Osila ritual.

WE SHALL GARVANISE SUPPORT FOR AMAECHI TO CONTEST AND WIN 2023 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION~ BBIGN GOKANA LGA .

The Bridge Builders' Initiative for Green Nigeria (BBIGN) Rivers State Chapter was from Tuesday 15th Feb., 2022 a beehive of activity as stalwarts of the body stormed the LGAs for Town Hall Meeting geared towards adequate political sensitisation ahead of APC primary election as well as 2023 General Election.

Ahead of theTown Hall Meetings, BBIGN National President, Dr. Orgwu Emmanuel and the leadership of BBIGN across the twenty three Local Government Areas, of Rivers State had been holding series of meetings to add befitting colour to the occasion, which promised to be a gathering of who is who across political lines, in solidarity with Amaechi, a man many believed has the needed qualification to turn around the country for good.

BBIGN is a political pressure group within the ranks of APC, declaring the Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, as their presidential choice for the Party, in the forthcoming presidential election billed to hold in 2023.

The events which kick started on Tuesday 15th Feb., 2022 , with Gokana and Ikwere Local Government Areas, witness mammoth crowd, where all LGA and Ward Executive and members trooped out with other THINK AMAECHI'S PROJECT loyalists to welcome them in order to demonstrate their commitment in the ongoing move to rally support, as well as persuade Amaechi to throw his cap into the ring, since we are hopeful that he will clinch the presidential ticket.

In Gokana LGA, Rivers South East Senatorial District, the Leader of the District, Mr. Monday Apii, the state Coordinator and his entourage were received and welcomed by the Gokana stakeholders. The tour was packaged to sensitise members ahead of the APC National Convention slated to hold on February 26, 2022.

In his welcome address , the Gokana LGA Coordinator, thanked the National President, Dr. Emmanuel Chigoziri Orgwu, the state Coordinator Hon. Afonya Anabraba and their entourage for accepting to be part of the first town hall meeting held in GOKANA and for their continued selfless leadership.

He further reiterated that "We are also very elated to announce to this August gathering that the town hall meeting is towards calling RT Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi (CRA) to contest for President on the platform of the APC come 2023.

Therefore, the gathering is to offer orientation and garvanise support for our dear grand patron, CRA to contest the forthcoming presidential election come 2023 in Nigeria. This is because of our implicit confidence that today's town hall meeting/gathering with our pragmatic leaders shall provide innovative ideas here in GOKANA, such that it shall be seen as a roadmap for the victory of All Progressive Congress APC through BBIGN.

Chief Pasaa, who represented the Gbenemene of Gokana , thanked the National President, Dr Orgwu Emmanuel ,and the State Excos for visiting Gokana LGA for a Hall Meeting.

Also speaking, the Deputy State Coordinator and Leader of Khana BBIGN, Bishop Dr. Deekor Miracle Christian, encouraged members to be patience and determinant.
"Our sufferings will soon be over once we take over the 'Bricks House'. Let us together fight to the end by making sure we follow the directives of our Leader and the next Nigeria's president, not by being with him in the day and another in the night".

Mr . Monday Apii, South South Zonal Director of Education and Contents Development, highlighted some of the benefits of the Town Hall Meeting.

One of the advantage is that, the meeting allows us to interact and explain directly to citizens the goals and objectives of BBIGN and how best these objectives can be achieved.

While thanking the August visitors for their love toward the people of the District and Gokana respectively, he expressed optimism that political godfatherism had ended in Gokana courtesy of BBIGN.

The Bridge Builders' Initiative for Green Nigeria (BBIGN) Rivers State Chapter was from Tuesday 15th Feb., 2022 a beehive of activity as stalwarts of the body stormed the LGAs for Town Hall Meeting geared towards adequate political sensitisation ahead of APC primary election as well as 2023 General Election.

Ahead of theTown Hall Meetings, BBIGN National President, Dr. Orgwu Emmanuel and the leadership of BBIGN across the twenty three Local Government Areas, of Rivers State had been holding series of meetings to add befitting colour to the occasion, which promised to be a gathering of who is who across political lines, in solidarity with Amaechi, a man many believed has the needed qualification to turn around the country for good.

BBIGN is a political pressure group within the ranks of APC, declaring the Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, as their presidential choice for the Party, in the forthcoming presidential election billed to hold in 2023.

The events which kick started on Tuesday 15th Feb., 2022 , with Gokana and Ikwere Local Government Areas, witness mammoth crowd, where all LGA and Ward Executive and members trooped out with other THINK AMAECHI'S PROJECT loyalists to welcome them in order to demonstrate their commitment in the ongoing move to rally support, as well as persuade Amaechi to throw his cap into the ring, since we are hopeful that he will clinch the presidential ticket.

In Gokana LGA, Rivers South East Senatorial District, the Leader of the District, Mr. Monday Apii, the state Coordinator and his entourage were received and welcomed by the Gokana stakeholders. The tour was packaged to sensitise members ahead of the APC National Convention slated to hold on February 26, 2022.

In his welcome address , the Gokana LGA Coordinator, thanked the National President, Dr. Emmanuel Chigoziri Orgwu, the state Coordinator Hon. Afonya Anabraba and their entourage for accepting to be part of the first town hall meeting held in GOKANA and for their continued selfless leadership.

He further reiterated that "We are also very elated to announce to this August gathering that the town hall meeting is towards calling RT Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi (CRA) to contest for President on the platform of the APC come 2023.

Therefore, the gathering is to offer orientation and garvanise support for our dear grand patron, CRA to contest the forthcoming presidential election come 2023 in Nigeria. This is because of our implicit confidence that today's town hall meeting/gathering with our pragmatic leaders shall provide innovative ideas here in GOKANA, such that it shall be seen as a roadmap for the victory of All Progressive Congress APC through BBIGN.

Chief Pasaa, who represented the Gbenemene of Gokana , thanked the National President, Dr Orgwu Emmanuel ,and the State Excos for visiting Gokana LGA for a Hall Meeting.

Mr . Monday Apii, South South Zonal Director of Education and Contents Development, highlighted some of the benefits of the Town Hall Meeting.

One of the advantage is that, the meeting allows us to interact and explain directly to citizens the goals and objectives of BBIGN and how best these objectives can be achieved.

While thanking the August visitors for their love toward the people of the District and Gokana respectively, he expressed optimism that political godfatherism had ended in Gokana courtesy of BBIGN.

The former Governor of Rivers State and the current Minister of Transportation Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is earnestly urged by all and sundry in his home State (Rivers) through the ongoing Town Hall Meeting Organized by the Bridge Builders Initiative For Green Nigeria, BBIGN, Rivers Chapter, to declare his interest for the office of president come 2023, having been described as “a man of character”.

Delivering his welcome address, the Ahoada West LGA Coordinator, Comr. James Samuel, welcomed the team to Ahoada West and told them, their assignment to call on the people of Ahoada West to support Amaechi is already made easy as he described Amaechi as integrity personified and a man of character.

He said “We must bury imaginary boundaries because what we need in this country today is a man that has character. Amaechi is a political colossus, a Czar in politics and a man who has demonstrated the new definition of what democracy should be, and so should be giving opportunity to build the country especially in the area of security and economy with the common objective to restore and integrate our country in the comity of nations as well as improve the people's socio-economic status".

"In my estimation, our Leader Dr. Orgwu Emmanuel, a dogged progressives and ally of the selfless servant-Leader, who has been up and doing, battled ready for the THINK AMAECHI'S PROJECT 2023, got it right especially for deeming it fit to convene this Town Hall Meeting".

Mr. Monday Apii , South-South Zonal Director Of Education and Contents Development, on Sunday 20th February, 2022 led the BBIGN Leadership Team assigned to Rivers West Senatorial District to Ahoada East LGA for the ongoing Rivers BBIGN Town Hall Meeting.

The program which is organised by the National Leadership of the body headed by Dr. Orgwu Emmanuel, through the Rivers State Coordinator, Hon. Afonyaa Anabraba.

At Ahoada East LGA, Mr. Monday Apii, during an interactive session with the accredited delegates revealed that the aim of the Town Hall Meeting was to evaluate the leadership of each LGA, resolve any raising case of mistrust amongst members as well as introduce and woo community leaders into the "THINK AMAECHI'S PROJECT 2023". Moreover, he intimated members of BBIGN plan to hold a South South and South East Zonal Rally aimed at calling on Amaechi to contest for the exalted office of the president of Nigeria.

According to him "our agenda is Nigerians interest, and about Amaechi. We are here to reason together, answer all questions about any issue bordering you, amicably resolve leadership wranglings if they exist and then introduce to you BBIGN projects at hand".

KHANA BBIGN INAUGURATES NEW WARD EXCO .

The Bridge Builder Initiative For Green Nigeria, BBIGN, Khana Local Government Area, Rivers State has inaugurated its Ward eleven (11) Executive Members (exco) and Board of Advisory's Council , on Sunday , 20th Feb., 2022, at Kono Town, in ken-khana , Khana LGA.

The Ward executive members, who were sworn in by Bishop Dr. Deekor Miracle Christian ,the Rivers State Deputy Coordinator, in accordance with the provisions of Article 14, Section 4 of the BBIGN Constitution as amended in 2021, would be spearheading the affairs of BBIGN in the Ward .

Speaking shortly after the inauguration, the newly inuagurated Coordinator of BBIGN, Comr. Legbara Simeon , resolved to put machinery in motion to build an indivisible, united and strong BBIGN in the Ward ahead of the 2023 polls and in supporting the Party, (APC ) to Win as mandated .

He said the ward consist of three Communities, Kwawa, Buan and Kono, and with the inauguration, they will would run the affairs of the ward while setting up excos in the 22 units of the Ward .

He maintained that BBIGN remains the only vencle and Political Pressure group not just in Rivers State but across the country, urging those who wished well for khana and ward 11 to retrace their steps to the Party via BBIGN as the doors of the party remain open to them as the only democratical Party.

He charged other Ward executive members of the body's to stay focused, reminding them of the onerous task ahead to lead the party via BBIGN to subsequent electoral victories come 2023.

“By the special grace of God, as we run this body from now hence , we are going to strategize and do more for the APC to emerge victorious come 2023. We will ensure the unity of our party , BBIGN members and fairness in our dealing.

Congratulating the new sword-in ward executive members, Comr. Ziiboo Chris Needum , khana LGA BBIGN Coordinator, retareal the need to ensure inclusiveness in handling the body's affairs and in working with the Party, APC.

The north-east geo-political zone under the aegis of Bridge Builders Initiative For Green Nigeria (BBIGN) said the Honourable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is the preferred, trusted and the face of Nigeria come 2023 presidency.

At the town hall meeting held at Zaranda Hotel, Bauchi State, the representatives of the six states which made up the north-east zone gathered to plan on how best to support Mr. Chibuike Amaechi come 2023.

In his welcome address, the National Director of Security and Strategy, Ahmed M. Bawa said Amaechi is the best man to sustain President Buhari's economic reform and diversification.
Bawa also said that at 57, Amaechi cannot be said to be too old and does not have the burden of age-related health challenge associated with some aspirants. And that Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi remains the most qualified among other eminent Nigerians.
He added that Amaechi is experienced, having served as a parliamentarian, governor and currently, the Minister of Transportation, saying that he has ticked all the boxes.

The National Secretary of BBIGN, Hon. Yahaya Saleh, in his keynote address said; Amaechi's personality was ascertained when President Buhari's kinsmen and entire northerners gathered to witness the "Turban" ceremony as DAN AMANAR DAURA.
He added that DAN AMANAR title is in honour of a man the Daura Emirate believed has justified his appointment as Minister of Transportation in the past few years; a title that can make Nigerians trust him to be their president come 2023.
He sang, "Mun Aminci Amaechi Dan Amanar Daura" (we agree with the choice of Amaechi as the trusted son of Daura).
An excited Chief Scribe of a leading Amaechi Support Group (BBIGN) told anyone who cares to know that in Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, President Buhari has seen a worthy successor who would carry on with the developmental projects initiated by APC-led administration.

In another note, Hon. Yahaya Saleh said; we know it is the political party that selects candidates for elections, but we are telling the APC now to consider Chibuike Amaechi because he will do well.
Tell me the Minister who has done half of what Amaechi did.
Baba Buhari is happy with him and so are the entire people of the north.
We are also calling Amaechi to enter the race for 2023 presidency.

Speaking on the theme; The Roles and Achievements Of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi As A Leader and Politician, the guest speaker, Hon. Barr. Baabayo Waziri, the former Executive Chairman, Fika LGA, Yobe State, said Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is a unifying factor who has a large vision to save Nigeria from her challenges.
The seasonal politician and lawyer highlighted the characters and qualities of the Minister of Transportation as he defined him to be a patriot who has Nigeria at heart.

According to him; I want to tell you today that there is no other candidate for 2023 except Chibuike Amaechi.
It will be unfair if we the northerners do not support him after all he did for us 2015. Allah will not forgive us. How can we pay him back, if not to support him for 2023 presidency.
No northerner should contest for presidency come 2023 for Amaechi's sake.
If you also examine other aspirants, you will discover that they are anti north. It is only Chibuike Amaechi that we can trust and we must not make mistakes.

The National President of BBIGN, Dr. Emmanuel Orgwu who was represented by the National Vice President (north-west) said he knew the Honourable Minister of Transportation when he was a Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly and Governor of Rivers State.
He said Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is a workaholic whose governance philosophy is to create opportunities for socio-economic growth and welfare of the people.
He said; as a Governor of Rivers State, I know Amaechi. He came, and immediately, the face of Rivers State changed. He prioritized on education, health care, infrastructural development, security and agriculture.
You can also see what he is doing as a Minister of Transportation. For forty years, our railway sector was moribund, but as Amaechi came, there has been speedy rehabilitation and reconstruction of the rail transport system.
There is improvement in the maritime sector.
Please we must go for Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi because he will be the Messiah. Nobody should come and deceive you. Amaechi is the solution to Nigeria's problems.

The National President also thanked the people, religious leaders, representatives of traditional rulers and political elites from the north-east zone for their love and support towards "THINK AMAECHI's PROJECT 2023" and promised that the trusted son will never be a prodigal son.

In his closing remarks, North-East Zonal Coordinator, Alh. Danladi Bungum Abubakar thanked the participants for honouring this occasion.

All we are here for, is to promote our interest who is Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. BBIGN STUDENTS WING, KENPOLY EXCOS MEET, VOWED TO LOUD THEIR VOICES.

The umbrella of the students wing under Bridge Builder Initiative for Green Nigeria, BBIGN Students wing, Kenule Beeson Saro-wiwa Polytechnic , Bori, held her first Leadership and Familiarisation meeting on Thursday 10th, February, 2022.
The National Leadership of the Bridge Builder Initiative for Green Nigeria (BBIGN) has authorise the body's Student wing to set up its States and Chapters Executive to Strategies and prepare for official inaugurations ahead of the tasks before then, their integrations into parties mainstream were they will present their challenges themselves.

Comr. Ebuka Promise A., the KENPOLY acting Coordinator in his opening remarks , commended the body's leadership for adopting and creating the Students wing .

According to him, adopting and creating the Students wing by the body's leadership has and will rekindled the hopes of millions of Nigeria and Bridges Builder students .

He noted that until now , such students had been discouraged from participating in the party's activities, especially as a student's leader.

"On our part, we will take this further by setting up Strategic engagement Committee departmentally which will work in conjunction with the Chapter and inline with the visions and mission of BBIGN as instructed by our superior leader's" Comr. Ebuka said .

Speaking further, he gave reasons while they chose to works with the wing .
" We decided to pitch tenth with the APC via BBIGN Students wing to ensure that AMAECHI emerges as President because we are hopeful that he is the APC Presidential candidate.

" We chose Amaechi because he is dynamic , hardworking, amiable and has impeccable records of achievements as a former NURSS President, a Speaker, a Governor and now a Minister" ,

Ebuka described the minister as a unifier and go-getter that loved the students , the people and never gave up on anything that he believed in. He assured of the students total support and commitments to the "THINK AMAECHI'S PROJECT 2023".

" We will mobilise for our Student's friendly Leader and we are out for it. There is a need for the students and every right thinking Student to ensure that persons of impeccable character lead this country".

Speaking to the newly formed BBIGN students wing Excos, KENPOLY, the Rivers South-East Senatorial PRO and Member National Media/Publicity Committee, Comr. Nubor Optimist Goteh, buttress the usefulness of Students wing in BBIGN.

“The Student's wing will engage Leaders, Students, Union Leaders, Stakeholders and other leaders in every Chapters to get more young people and students to occupy and bring them up into the mainstream of party Politics.

“We believe that since the battle of the forthcoming elections will be fought for the youth vote, it is wise for our Body as a Support group to APC and Amaechi to fight that battle with the students voice,” he said.

Optimist added that the approved Student's wing is an appendages to the main BBIGN ,and he is confident as a unionist and one time students Union President and Leader that the Students voice is always louder and heard even now that it will be heard again.

The National President of Bridge Builders Initiative For Green Nigeria (BBIGN), Dr. Emmanuel Orgwu congratulates Chief Emeka Beke and his team for a successful inauguration, stating that with them, APC will win elections in Rivers State. The young Ubima born crusader and political mobilizer said this at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja in an interaction with some journalists.
He further informed the press that he is going back to Rivers State to continue his programme with the party, APC.
He said; when I saw you coming my way, I know you want to ask me something. I am going to Port Harcourt, so wait until after APC National Convention, then we can start talking. For now, what I can tell you is that I am very happy that we have inaugurated Rivers State APC Executive Officers. We have party now and with Chief Emeka Beke and his team, we are going to win elections in Rivers State. Nyesom Wike will run into his Rumuepirikom house when the time comes. I am going to Port Harcourt to continue with my mobilization programme to support APC. We will move round the 23 LGAs for a town hall meeting and move across the states of the federation. Our target is to raise fifteen million fresh voters and supporters for APC. I am very sure that APC will retain power at the federal level.

When asked about Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi Turban ceremony at Daura Emirate, BBIGN National President said; I was there. I witnessed everything. I congratulate the Honourable Minister of Transportation. I also thank Daura Emirate for recognizing hard work. I have been telling people that we need Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. With him, Nigeria is secured. Everybody is seeing what he is doing. I am not surprised, it is part of him to effect growth and development. He has been doing it. This is the reason we want him to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari. He is the only one who can sustain the legacies on ground and quench unnecessary agitations for division and disintegration. He has the grace from God and I believe it is the mission God assigned him on earth.

Dr. Orgwu also said that the youths of this country should shun crime and support the government to succeed.
He said; I have problems with our young ones. We criticize without being part of the solution. We shy away from our responsibilities and expect things to change overnight. Who will do it for us? This is political period, you will not see them. The ones who will come out will be expecting money to be shared to them. Nigeria youths are not ready for change.
This time, I am appealing to them to support Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi so that we can see the change we are yearning for. Nigeria must stand up for Chibuike Amaechi if we want to succeed as a country.

When asked about Ikwerre and Igbo claims, especially when a former House of Representatives member, Hon. Chidi Wihioka said Ikwerre people are not Igbo, Emmanuel Orgwu said; you see, not everyone knows his history. If Hon. Chidi Wihioka said he is not an Igbo man, he is correct. Off course, he is not from Ikwerre and I cannot possibly come from Igbo. He is from Buguma, Kalabari in Rivers State. The Kalabaris are not Igbos, but the ikwerres are Igbos. I do not want to go into details. I am from Ikwerre Ethnic group in Igbo tribe. I speak and understand Igbo like the Igbos of the south-east region. I cannot deny my origin because of politics.
So do not blame those who come to the public to deny their identity. They do not know history, not even their origin.

The National President also said that BBIGN group must strive to ensure that the group and party conquer PDP in the forth coming 2023 general elections.
