optimusprime2: If Amusan is not injured & is on fine form, that's Nigeria's surest medal bet. The times she has delivered this season are untouchable... if she even pushes a lil bit more, you can even expect an olympic record.
I am not convinced Favor Ofili can beat 1. Gabby Thomas USA 2. The combo of Dina Asher Smith & Daryll Neita UK Or the sparkling form of 3. Julien Alfred
Naaaah mheeeen She might even place last if care is not taken, because Favors best time comes nowhere close to the season times this year of the above listed Shebi I tok am na... I was convinced beyond all doubt that Favor Ofili did not have the capacity to challenge all the names I mentioned. Infact all the names I listed placed 1,2,3 & 4 ... Favor almost came last |

Lionessza6: An immigration checkpoint within a country ? . Now I know why it's called a zoo . Actually it makes lots of sense to keep immigration officers at internal entry points of states that border Cross River state... Why? because Cross-River state borders Cameroon and there are many ways to enter Nigeria via Cross River state (several Land routes & several Water routes) and many of these routes have no border security-trust me. So in order to contain border leakage and limit it to an area, internal crossings from Cross River state to other states in Nigeria needs to be heavily controlled. If Nigerian immigration is still doing that ... then Kudos to them! Fyi It's quite easy for other Africans to enter Nigeria and become Nigerian by benefiting everything Nigerians enjoy. But more difficult for Nigerians to enter for example Cameroon & become Cameroonian. The checks and balances within African countries would filter that Nigerian out. |

Rafael Leao is a player that can frustrate any coach... because I have never seen a player who is as talented as he is yet so non chalant about the game plan.
He showed it in this game against France.
Speed: He has it (He was roasting Kounde through out) Dribbling: he has it in loads Skill: My boy doesn't even know which foot is his stronger foot because he is L & R.
But I just don't understand how a truly talented player gets confused about making simple decisions.
Rafael Leao alone could have been the deciding factor in that game, but as usual his head was partially in and partially out. |

ElevationD: Should we expect the first nuclear weapons use in the middle east?
With policy of "nuclear ambiguity," Israel has neither confirmed nor denied possession of nuclear weapons. Would the Iranians like to try it out with the mother of all battles coming up in the Middle East?
I think it is no longer a secret that Israel possesses nuclear capabilities and if the country finds itself in a dangerous situation that threatens its existence, such weapons would be deployed.
It has long been the wish of Iran and its proxies to wipe Israel away from the face of the earth. With such existential threats, will the Israelis not respond in kind against Iran and its proxies?
Hopefully all of them can find some common ground to resolve their differences. Hamas must get to the table to resolve the differences. Israel must agree with the two state resolution, recognizing the state of Palestine. Hezbollah too must keep the required 10 miles behind the blue line and cease firing rockets daily into Israel. The bolded statement is my issue with your post... Israel agreed to a two state solution on several occasions, however Palestine Hamas does not agree to the terms of a 2 state solution without the deal of the1967 borders, you need to understand Hamas are in power in Palestine. As long as terrorist factions are part of national government's, it will be difficult to attain peace. Such as Hezbolah or Hamas. |

christejames: Soludo is disappointing me with his statements on this minimum wage
You were perceived as a technocrat and made the governor of one of the most vibrants and richest states (in both human and commercial/industrial resources) in Nigeria, but you are giving excuses that you can't pay something less than 70k? When some states like Edo and Borno that are seen as commercially inefficient are proposing more than 70k?
Keep giving opposition chances to push you out! To be honest he is right! Nigeria cannot sustain that proposed minimum wage without major consequences. What people should be clamouring about is for certain political class to have massive paycuts to boost the economy. When that is done then people can talk about minimum wage increment. Fyi a minimum wage increment of over 100% also applies to that certain political class as well. |
