jaxxy: Jenny’s exit shud not be seen as a welcome development, Africans have run every good thing they’ve had to the ground or to mediocrity with either corruption and man know man and other abnormal practices. We have not achieved any global fit in these sectors to say we can develop Africa. The whites are not special bt we need to change our mentality and deal with issues without too much sentiments bt rather best practices. It is this kind of mentality that has caused many good Africans with potential to fail, when their own people are filled with negativity, lack of confidence and needed motivation from their own people how will they succeed. Learning from the Oyinbo people they are always supportive and willing to do anything to help where ever they feel their own is lacking. What is corruption? is white people’s business in Africa till this day not corruption? who defines corruption? If it will take corruption to put Africa on top of the world by and African let it be. |

TheAlchemist: Jenny you have passed a strong and clear message to Adesina to follow the path of honour. Adesina is putting an organisation that brought him into international limelight into public opprobrium is quite unfortunate. Some of your largest institutional investors have passed a vote of no confidence in you yet you a busy selling a superman personae to your gullible admirers. I don’t believe in the fairy tales of superman but I believe in the reality of strong and enduring institutions. . Well, i don’t know from what angle you’re seeing this situation from but i think it’s best to frustrate white people out of our institutions if we are to really develop Africa. Jenny’s exit from AfDP is a welcome development, there are more to exit so that Africans can manage Africans affairs if we are to really develop Africa. It is however degrading to say Jenny is showing Adesina path of honor. Adesina is an honorable and highly respected professional and nothing has changed about him till his time. |

What is their desperation in working in African bank. They’re constantly keeping Africa poor with their involvement in all our activities. It’s time for Africa to support their own and bring forward their best brains to manage Africa d affairs. The world might as well be coming to an end considering the growing population of poor Africans and the limited resources left in Africa. If we don’t wake up to the reality and start building Africa we might as well go extinct in less than 50 years time with hunger and diseases |

I can’t blame him, i blame the Southern lawmaker who allows Northern lawmakers to implement laws that are against Nigeria’s constitution thinking it will only affect the North. When they implemented Sharia they thought it will affect the North but the south carries the responsibilities of those disabled by Sharia. They ended up as liabilities on the South |

"In the first place, it is the duty of a real government to protect citizens, to make sure that they provide for them(citizens) in a period of difficulties.
"Here(in Nigeria), you put people in a lockjam...not a lockdown; you imprison them and then you send the Army after them. At the end of the day, as you are counting Corona casualties, you're also counting the number of people killed by soldiers, Police, Civil Defence..." - Omoyele Sowore. |

LibertyRep: Since the schools are closed and the pupils are at home, I will advise that the ministry in charge change the name of this WONDERFUL intervention to home- feeding programme.
However I wish the NASS is paying attention to this and they stop the wasteful spending about to get down, if they're not complicit.
There has to be a limit to how much the scarce resources can be frittered away, not even now that recession is staring us in the face. money they’ve shared already they’re just looking for a way to cover it up that’s why the school feeding can not wait |

Politics › Re: For Yorubas: What Is Our Long Term Goal by Optional09: 9:25am On May 10, 2020 |
JOHNSONSOLAFUNMI: Long term goal is not secession or holding on to a failed union, long time goal is human and infrastructural development of our region, tell me any states that do everything in unison like Yoruba states, where’s there’s freedom to practice the religion you like, support any candidate you like, that’s our long term goal.
Our long term goal is to retain the industrial hub of the nation and the economic capital too, our long term goal is to connect all yoruba major cities together with a road like East - West line (USA), our long term goal is making Yorubaland peaceful so others can come to live and prosper and in turn increase our IGR, our long term goal is security of lives and property in our region, (creation of amotekun and very soon state policing) our long term goal is maintaining the best crop of lawyers in Nigeria Incase there’s a reason to secede, there won’t be bloodshed... If you study Yoruba history, you’ll know our thirst for liberty and progressiveness knows no bound, why our forefathers left ife to conquer territories
Maybe if IPOB study more bout the ANC and Mandela, they’ll know what’s call a struggle, how to liberate your people, sacrifice you’re to make, the type of government you want to run, your economic policy, Kanu hasn’t talked about that, just insulting... I wish they succeed with their secession quest, but Kanu is a distraction for their course, they won’t agree lol
I believe ndigbo have more prospects than kanu, go through history, secessionist leader doesn’t do act like him
I haven’t find that in biafra related post, just making mouth and beating chest
But if the Yoruba nation decides to secede this union one day, nothing on earth can stop it... you can check history These are unrealistic goals when the Fulani has already taken hold of all your resources your children are not getting any education and the Fulani’s are now encroaching on your land to dictate how your region progress. |
