TROOPS ARRESTS HIGH PROFILE BOKO HARAM TERRORIST

On Tuesday 2nd August 2016, at about 8.30am, troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE with assistance of Vigilantes on routine checks, identified and arrested a high profile suspected Boko Haram terrorist, Mohammed Mohammed Zauro at Sabon Gari, Damboa Local Government Area, Borno State.

Preliminary investigation shows that the suspected terrorist kingpin was arrested as he was trying to flee to Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, from Sambisa forest. The troops recovered a Gionee brand of mobile telephone handset and a fake SAIE/JIBWIS identification card to perfect his escape and the sum of N7,900.00k.

Similarly, troops also intercepted another suspected Boko Haram terrorist, Lawal Aboi, along Damboa-Bale road. According to him, he was on his way to voluntarily surrender to the troops in Damboa because he was tired of fighting for no just cause. Both suspects are being further interrogated.

Thank you for your kind and usual cooperation.

Must you guys politicise everything? This is not about Buhari, not about Jonathan, not about APC, not about PDP. This is about Nigeria.

Nigeria , the only country you can call your own. You live here, your family does, your friends do, your babe probably does.

What if we all just put our biases aside and put this country first.
CHIEFPRIEST1: May God bless you abundantly for your excellent and patriotic outlook amen...... the problem with these kind of people is they have ears but cannot hear, eyes that do not see and brain that is incapable of reasoning, blind, deaf and stupid. The same arguement during GEJ and when you ask them that ok, GEJ is president and head of the army, who and who has he brought forward in court and evidence that show they are responsible for bokoharamhuh they keep quiet or shout abeeegi leave story. i kid you not, if GEJ had won, Nigeria wouldve been finished, you know why, they will blame PMB and hold him rersponsible for BH and they will not address all these dasukigate, the ill equip army will refuse to keep committing suicide at the hands of bokoharam and bokoharam wouldve grown and all of them will run abroad with their loot and the pastors will do the same and the rich imams will follow and the blame game will continue abroad meanwhile Nigeria would ve been left to perish.

You want Nigeria to grow with over 3 million Easterners murdered in cold blood during the civil war? Over 2 million children starved to death by Awolowo? Get out from my sight before I spit on you...hypocrite devoid of basic human conscience.
@UDUAK2019: Now what you are saying is another matter entirely....I have conscience ok. Right is right and wrong is wrong... now if you want to go back to history, lets start with Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, the idiot that drew first blood by killing Sardauna, etc in front of his wife and kids someone that was trusted in the household over suspiscion that Ahmadu bello is corrupt only to discover that he was owing the bank, now the Ibo's in KD and Zaria that had everything going well for them instead of condeming the massacre, started jubilating and taunting the northerners with pics of Ahmadu bello and saying una "Alhaji don die" etc and that led to anger and killings of those ibos in the north, there were riots and in Nigeria, people are not held accountable so there was no justice and it continued. Ojukwu in tackling the issue and him been selfish saw that as an opportunity to be President. He refused the advice of so many, he was adamant and stubborn and refused to listen to ZIK etc and led his people to war and boasted that he will be the last man standing only to run away and left all to die. Uduak, Yes i agree, it was unfortunate what happened, it was avoidable. We need to move on from that...... the Ibo's need to accept Buhari as the President and Commander in Chief and BELIEVE IN ONE NIGERIA. Also, Buhari needs to understand that the Ibo's weather they voted for him or not are NIGERIANS and that they have equal share in all resources and that he needs to ensure that and balance all his appointments atht are currently pro-North. Yes we do have issues, look at my criticism of Emir Sanusi's birthday... I am Muslim and from Kogi ok, i am still appalled that a Mrs Bridget Agbahime, will spend over 30 years in Kano, and have Kano as her "HOME" and be killed on the streets and the perpetrators are not being sentenced to death yet, i am angry about it... and all the CAN bigotry, police initial bragadoo, the Gov's hapinness over the arrest of the main guy that raised the false alarm etc what has it led to? unless those perpetrators are sentenced to death, Mrs Bridget's family gets compensated and gets true justice, i will not rest in talking about it. In the same vein, an ambassadorial nominee that cannot recite the national anthem is a shame and you should not be defending it Uduak. Conclusively, Uduak, i have conscience and i believe in one nigeria where we all will succeed as one Nigeria with justice and equality for ALL.

Typical Nigeria anti Igbo mentality....how do we destroy this overly qualified Igbo woman? The only way is to find something that all of us can not recite with full competence...that is the National Anthem. I wish I was her aid behind her when the wicked anti Igbo beast posed her that question...I'd have to her in her ears, don't recite nothing instead ask him to recite it first to embarrass the i$diot. This is how qualified people are bypassed in this country for envy, instead you have uneducated, dummies running our country into ditches.
@UDUAK2019, How can Nigeria grow if we have people with your mentalityhuh An ambassadorial nominee cannot recite the National Anthem of the country you're representing...... shame on you and shame on whoever cannot recite the national anthem it has nothing to do with ibo, hausa or ibibio... it is the reason why we are not progressing in this country. we refuse to call a spade a spade, stella oduah stole nigeria blind she is a senator today, jim Nwobodo the same thing, atiku and tinubu the same thing. Other tribes will be quiet and allow justice to take its course eg Dasuki but if the looter is an easterner, some easterners will protest and come out to protect looters, shame, shame shame.

According to reports, the heavy shootout, which has left three policemen injured, has caused residents of Igando, especially those around Ikejobi Avenue, Ewedogbon Bus Stop to flee their homes or hide indoors.

Men of the Rapid Response Squad deployed a drone and helicopter to track the movement of the militants in the inner streets of Ewedogbon, Igando as depicted in the pictures.

O guy, i dont understand why "you just don't get it" It is the same thing with politics and when Buhari says i have not touched a penny of Nigeria that is'nt mine its hard for you to believe cos, in your head people will always see money and accept it. She already said she wont even if it is 100Billion $$ there are people that will never do it. Case in point, i served in AK during OBJ election in 1999, the indigenes shared money for NYSC covering election to rig. I refused to collect money. The guy was polite and they just wanted to bribe and get it done over with. I refused, the guy transported me to my polling booth (about 1.5 hr drive away from the central spot) as i requested since INEC dropped us all at a central location with a TATA truck. The Policeman attached to me collected his share and told me if i don't collect he will leave me and run when wahala starts, at the end one of them snattched the forms from me and completed it. I told him to take it to INEC himself. Anyways, when i was dropped off, i still refuse to collect money at the end. the guy that completed the form forcefully pushed money into my pocket, saying the same thing all along, is your father "Filaye"? (Olu Falae) or is your father "Obasonjooor" ol boy u need am. now when i was entering the bus, the guy that drove me to the location did the same and the initial guy was telling him he already did and he said no problem and equally pushed money into my pocket. We were in the bus and guys were jubilating and comparing how much each made. Anyways, at INEC when i reported it they did not care at all, i knew if i reported the =N=, it will go to the guys pocket. I did not even count the =N=, it was wad of 20's, on Friday i dropped it off for some beggars at the Uyo central mosque cos i just could not imagine myself touching it. Its how i was raised, and also FYI, all through NYSC, i could not afford to buy meat cos it was expensive all i ate was titus fish..........
