Good morning, my fellow NairaLanders! Please, I need your sincere advice on the best way to follow up.

On Tuesday, I tried to send money to my car painter and received this message: 'Either the source or target account has a restriction'.

I requested another account from the painter regarding the same issue. I tried to top up my GTBank account from my e-Wallet (GeegPay), and it was successful.

The next step was to visit the banking hall, where the customer care service informed me that my account was restricted for crypto-related transactions.

I explained to her that I don't deal with crypto. In fact, that's my salary account.

She provided me with a phone number to reach my account officer. I called him and presented my complaint. He mentioned that it was related to crypto transactions, but they would investigate it, which is okay with me.

The problem is how long they will take (forever?), because I have children to take care of.

He is no longer taking my calls, so I would greatly appreciate any advice, as I don't even know the next step to take.
