My first job experience was fun, eyes opening and stressful..

I worked in a private owned laboratory in Lagos.. shortly after I finished secondary school..I was 18yrs then


I applied for the post of an office assistant...but I did all manner of jobs.., dispatch, marketer, store keeping, cleaner..all in the name of office assistant

The pay was 16k monthly...later increased to 18k after a year....( After much complaining)...
Although tips were coming on a daily basis..
Most times after calculation,tips were almost twice my salary..( as a sharp guy....my boss was wondering..he was paying me peanut yet didn't complain,...warri no dey Carry Last....

I worked for 1 Year six months


Time was 8am - 8pm.. most times.. I usually work till 10pm sometimes 11pm at night...
Due to the fact that my house was close to my work place.. .

Until I was sacked..by my boss wife..

Although I already anticipated it coming so I was well prepared, I had packed all my CV,my stuff.,so on the day of my sacking..I purposely came late 3hrs late,walked in like a boss.. the letter was served by his wife. She was so overwhelmed, thinking I will beg .lol, me way don collect my salary...I just went in to carry my charger i forgot...I moved...

Reason for my Termination..
I was in charge of setting up the computer in the lab....so my boss wife didn't set up the computer well...I corrected her and told her she got it wrong...na there my wahala start..

She was like..how could this secondary school brat.. tell me what to do on computers..(cause she was studying oracle in school then..)...I told her I have been playing with computers from my early age. She assumed I was trying to show off..or dragging shoulder with her...

Since then she made my work life hell ..


Things I learnt..

One man business is not a good place to work for long as an ambitious person, you might lose your dreams in process

Your boss will always seek to exploit you in any way possible..

In most marriage..men are the gears, women are the steering wheel... where ever the steering wheel turns the gear most follow

Lastly...

Your boss wife is either a GOLD MINE. or a LANDMINE, as an man if you are not sure of the one she is... its better you avoid her at all costs..she can be the sole reason for projection..or depression in life...

Over 16,000 foreign fighters, many of them from the Middle East and experienced in fighting against jihadists, want to go to Ukraine and join the forces of the Russia-backed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Russia’s defense minister claimed on Friday. The Russian military has suggested giving them the green light, the official said, during a national security council meeting.

“We believe it would be right to positively respond to those requests, especially since they are doing it not for money, but because that is their wish. We know many of those people, they helped us fight against [terrorist group] ISIL at the most difficult time in the last ten years,” Sergei Shoigu recalled.

President Vladimir Putin said he supported the idea, pointing out that Russia’s opponents in Ukraine were doing a similar thing.

“The Western sponsors of Ukraine, of the Ukrainian regime, don’t hide it, do it in the open, in violation of international law,” Putin said, after labeling foreign fighters traveling to fight for Ukraine “mercenaries.”

Kiev has allowed foreign volunteers to come to Ukraine and fight against Russian troops there. Some Western nations warned their active-duty military service members against responding to the call. Nonetheless, Kiev claims some 20,000 foreign citizens from 52 nations have agreed to help its cause.

During the meeting in Moscow, Shoigu also suggested arming with more advanced weapons the forces of Ukraine’s breakaway regions, which Moscow has recognized as sovereign states. He said Russian troops had captured plenty of military hardware from Ukraine, including West-supplied anti-aircraft and anti-tank portable missiles, which, he said, the rebels could put to good use.

The Russian president also approved this proposal, saying he would sign the relevant orders if needed.

The minister also raised the issue of NATO buildup in Eastern Europe, which has been done amid the hostilities in Ukraine. The Russian military has plans on how to counter it, Shoigu reported. Putin said this issue required further deliberation.

Russia attacked Ukraine in late February, claiming that NATO’s creeping expansion into the country, as well as Kiev’s refusal to make progress in resolving its protracted conflict with the rebels, had left Moscow with no better options.

Ukraine and Western powers branded the offensive an unprovoked act of aggression. Russia was hit with unprecedented economic sanctions in retaliation, while Ukraine was offered more weapons and financial aid. NATO refused to deploy its own troops in defense of Ukraine, saying it didn’t want the hostilities with Russia to escalate further.

“Poland is not a party to this war. We want peace as soon as possible. And NATO is also not a party to this war,” Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki told reporters, reiterating his call for the US-led NATO alliance to decide on the potential delivery of Warsaw-owned aircraft to Ukraine. The remarks took place in Vienna, as he was meeting Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer on Wednesday.

The delivery must be approved by the whole bloc, and Washington in particular, Morawiecki insisted.

“Such a serious decision as the handover of planes must be a unanimous and unambiguous decision made by the entire NATO. Today, this decision is in the hands of NATO, in the hands of the Americans,” the PM stated.

Kiev has repeatedly urged Western nations to send in additional weapons, including combat planes, amid the ongoing conflict with Russia that broke out in late February, when Moscow launched a large-scale offensive in Ukraine. While Kiev has claimed that up to 70 old Soviet-made planes owned by Eastern European NATO countries would be supplied shortly, no actual deliveries have materialized yet.

The potential suppliers and Washington have been actively shifting responsibility for such a decision over the danger of a direct confrontation with Russia. The US led-alliance has also consistently rejected the idea to send in troops, refusing Kiev’s repeated calls for NATO to establish a no-fly zone over the country.

The US has rejected Moscow’s allegation that it helps to operate “biolabs” in Ukraine working with highly dangerous pathogens. Russia claimed that Kiev is scrambling to destroy the materials and cover up a possible violation of the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention (BWC).

“The United States does not own or operate any chemical or biological laboratories in Ukraine, it is in full compliance with its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and Biological Weapons Convention, and it does not develop or possess such weapons anywhere,” US State Department spokesperson Ned Price said on Thursday.

The US official argued that Moscow, and not Washington, was running “active chemical and biological weapons programs,” but stopped short of citing any evidence in his statement.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki echoed Price’s remark, also accusing Moscow of setting the stage for a potential “false flag” attack, a charge made previously by administration officials.

“We should all be on the lookout for Russia to possibly use chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine or to create a false flag operation using them,” she said in a Twitter post on Wednesday.


Psaki argued that Russia “has a track record of accusing the West of the very violations that Russia itself is perpetrating.” She called the latest allegations “an obvious ploy by Russia to try to justify the further premeditated, unprovoked and unjustified attack on Ukraine.”

Washington’s denials came hours after Russia’s Foreign Ministry called for strengthening the international bioweapons treaty by adding a mechanism to verify compliance by member nations. The Russian military claimed on Monday that Ukrainian authorities had ordered the “hasty” destruction of dangerous pathogens that were stored at US-backed biological labs across the former Soviet republic.

US Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland acknowledged on Tuesday that Ukraine has “biological research facilities.” Speaking under oath in a Senate hearing, she said that US officials are “quite concerned” that Russian forces may seek to gain control of the labs, and were “working” with Kiev to prevent this from happening

I had mine durring my secondary School days. We hosted a campfire in my church ( I was in the boys scout) .... After mixing different kind of alcohol, spirit,gin ,dark rum and vodka...
