A gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of APC in Ondo State, Hon Judge Dele Alade has called on the national Secretariat of APC in Abuja and the APC Kogi State to sanction Senator Dino Melaye for his reported gross misconduct in the senate. Hon Alade also called on the good people of Kogi state who have been traumatized and impoverished by the likes of Melaye to recall the senator from the senate. In a statement in Akure over the weekend, Judge Alade described the reported unprovoked outburst and insults the senator unloaded on the person of the wife of the national leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as uncalled for and an unbecoming thuggish behavior of this loquacious and shameless senator. He called on the party to immediately investigate the reported incident and punish the senator if infact the reported misconduct was true. Judge Alade stated that Senator Melaye is a product of corrupt system hence he is fighting hard, and supporting and colluding with the corrupt and disgraced Bukola Saraki to impede and sabotage the APC and President Buhari’s fight against corruption. He further said that it is a national embarrassment that we still have Bukola Saraki as the President of the Senate when he should be serving term in prison. “That Bukola Saraki is still the senate president is what is emboldening and encouraging Melaye to threaten, molest and abuse a distinguished and well respected woman in the senate”. Judge Alade asked the people of Kogi to demand accountability from the senator for his stewardship in the senate. “He has achieved nothing in the senate other than being a bodyguard to Bukola Saraki to travel to and from the court where the latter is facing corruption and felony charges”. Judge Alade said that in a decent and civilized society, the likes of Melaye and Bukola Saraki would not come close to where public policies are being discussed. Judge Alade laments the poverty level and inhuman environment the vast majority of Nigerians live including the Kogi people, and rather than for Melaye to fight to improve the lot of his people he is busy amassing exotic cars and motorcycles in a state and a country with worst roads in the world. He however called on the good members of the senate to purge the senate of the corrupt and criminals amongst them in order to rebuild the already battered national and international image of the senate http://www.saharaweeklyng.com/sanction-melaye-hon-dele-alade-tells-apc/

Ahead of the November 26 governorship election in Ondo State, the pulse of majority stakeholders in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sahel Standard gathered is swayed towards the emergence of Senator Ajayi Borrofice as the flag bearer of the party. Though the party in the state had denied anointing any of the aspirants for its ticket, feelers in the party is that leaders are wary of fielding a less popular candidate that will affect its chances of forming the next government in the state. According to sources in the party, the scheming within the party, which are largely subtle is directed at the emergence of a candidate that will guarantee the party victory at the poll. The arrangement will consolidate the party’s growing strength in the state, placed the Oka-Akoko born politician at a pole position to picks the party’s ticket as most of the party’s leader agreed will produce a victory. While other aspirants jostling for the ticket of the party were as well considered, the general consensus by most leaders of the party who considered the advantage of the party taking over the Alagbaka Government House, favoured Borrofice. The Professor of Zoology, who is currently representing Ondo North Senatorial District in the senate for the second term, is believed by most of the leaders to have the necessary political wherewithal to deliver victory for the party. He noted that ” he (Borrofice) is considered by many as the ideal candidate that can give our party (APC) victory in the governorship election. Not only is he well entrenched among electorates in the state, the manner which he dared Mimiko and went ahead to win his re-election to the senate is intimidating and cannot be easily ignored. The source stressed that to ensure Borrofice emerge the party’s flag bearer, there have been moves by some leaders within the party to mobilise their structures to back him, noting that some other aspirants jostling for the party’s ticket may as well backed down and throw their weight behind Borrofice, following the intervention of the leaders working “Everyone knows this time is our best shot at taking over Ondo State and we must be cautious not to throw away that chance. Listen, all those aspiring to fly our party’s ticket are good, that remains incontrovertible. “But what Ondo State electorate want is the best and we must not give them the contrary. Borrofice happens to be our best shot and I think everyone, including our leaders are seeing that fact. I share the reasoning that he would pick our party’s ticket, if otherwise, the 2012 experience may reoccur,” he said. http://www.saharaweeklyng.com/ondo-guber-borrofice-favoured-to-pick-apcs-ticket/

The Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has commended Sterling Bank Plc for its contribution to clean environment through the provision of necessary incentives to checkmate environmental challenges. The Governor who made the commendation while receiving reflective coveralls donated by the Bank for use by members of the Osun Waste Management Authority (OWMA) in Oshogbo noted that the coverall would protect the highway managers against occupational hazards which they face in the discharge of their responsibilities on a daily basis. His words: “By this donation, Sterling Bank has demonstrated its commitment to environmental sustainability. These coveralls without any doubt will make the Highway Managers visible from afar and prevent the incidents of motorists running into them. It will provide safety against occupational hazards and also give them a sense of dignity as opposed to appearing improperly dressed and unkempt and elevate their status as they see themselves as very relevant to the society through the service they provide”. While reaffirming his administration’s readiness to maintain a top position among its peers at championing good environmental sanitation, the Governor identified environmental challenges as part of the reasons his administration took aggressive steps towards waste management and sanitation in the state. To kick start the process, he said his government came up with a 90-day emergency declaration on sanitation and zero tolerance for filth culminating in the launch of the O’Clean plus initiatives which had contributed significantly in the reduction of sanitation related diseases, adding that other corporate organizations should emulate the Bank in ensuring a clean environment. Earlier, the Executive Director, Sterling Bank Plc, Mr. Lanre Adesanya, said the presentation of coveralls was in line with the bank’s strategic focus on the environment as one of its corporate’s social responsibility priorities. He added that the Bank was already in partnership with other states such as Enugu, Kaduna, Rivers, Delta, Abia, Ogun and Lagos states. His words: “At Sterling Bank, environmental cleanliness is one of the cardinal points of our Corporate Social Responsibility thrust that informs the bank’s continued commitment of enormous resources towards ensuring that the environment where we live is habitable. “As we embark on this mission, we consider it of utmost importance to protect those whose job it is to manage and clean the environment. That is why we came up with the idea of producing coveralls for highway managers to ensure their safety, make them more relevant in the society and as well as dignify them while discharging their duties. In his remarks, the General Manager, Osun Waste Management Agency (OWMA), Alhaji Ganiyu Oyeladun said the state government through Osun Waste Management Agency (OWMA) has in recent years embarked on various initiatives with focus on achieving the objectives of the restoration of healthy living and empowerment for the citizenry. Alhaji Oyeladun noted that the current administration has successfully placed a high priority on environmental sanitation and waste management, hence the creation of the agency. He said OWMA has succeeded in entrenching the culture of cleanliness among the citizenry, adding that with the efforts of the agency, there is sharp reduction in sanitation related diseases just as there is drastic reduction in mortality and morbidity rates. http://www.saharaweeklyng.com/osun-state-governor-rauf-aregbesola-praises-sterling-banks-input-environmental-sustainability/

Politics according to Merriam Webster Dictionary is “the art or science of government or the art or science concerned with guiding or influencing governmental policy. The grammarian also define politics as the art or science concerned with winning and holding control over a government. Empirically, politics can be said to be activities that relate to influencing actions and policies of a government or getting and keeping power in a government. It is the work or job of people (such as elected officials) who are part of a government. Just as I searched and observed with keen interest the calibre and credibility of Nigerian politicians, I discovered that nothing is inseparable from each other. In Ogun State, a retrospect look at the dozier of past and present leaders of the state create a burning desire to give self assessment with unbias pass mark for those that performed credibly well, which invariably serves as benchmark for successive administrations. OSOBA: ONE DISAPPOINTMENT, TOO MANY Since 1999 we attained the fourth republic, Chief Olusegun Osoba who steer the affairs of the State under the political platform of Alliance for Democracy (AD) governed the state with the limited resources available at his disposal despite being an opposition party with Baba Obasanjo PDP at the federal government. Aremo Osoba provided the needed dividends of democracy for his people and took governance to the door step of the masses especially the rural dwellers through town hall meetings, consultation and provision of social amenities in the rural areas. Aremo Osoba between 1999-2003 remarkably touched every sector of the state economy to include ; agriculture, education, housing, rural/urban renewal, construction of roads, rural electrification project, donation of transformers to the urban centres, training and empowerment for artisans, provision of drinkable water system, prompt payment of workers salary, non-deduction of workers pension allowance, construction of market centres, empowerment through his wife, Beere Derinsola Osoba where the aged, widows/widowers, youth, artisans, unemployed graduates were assisted among others. During Osoba’s tenure, the standard of Education in the state was maintained, while tuition fees across the state owned higher institution of learning was invariably minimal and affordable for prospective students and parents, not to mention good standard of living with adequate security. DANIEL’S TRIUMPHANT ENTRY INTO THE FRAY But alas, 2003 born the advent of new political era in Ogun State with the arrival and introduction of Otunba Gbenga Daniel into Ogun politics. Like the Biblical ‘wonder’ Daniel, Otunba Justus Olugbenga Daniel came like a wild in the burning fire, caught the fancies of both young and old with so many creative concept that upshot him into the minds of the people. The popular TV advert with the chorus “Ee lo so f’araye peee, Daniel mbo, Ee lo so f’araye pee, Daniel ti de o, Eyin Omo Ogun, ise ma tiya”…..this and many other lofty creativity couple with signages that arrest the thinking faculty of Ogun indigenes both home and abroad, still linger on for those that followed the trend. OGD as fondly called, came with so much believe and aspiration that with him at the helms of the state affairs, Ogun would become Eldorado within a year. Infact, such propaganda and gimmicks made people to condemned and rubbished Aremo Segun Osoba’s four year term as fruitless. Even, OGD and his ‘propagandists’ or strategists as the case maybe, whichever way made us believed that, we have been held under bondage and wilderness by Osoba, that within a twinkle of an eye, those O2T (Osoba for 2nd Term) Apostles found it compelling and competitive with enough reasons to switched allegiance to OGD. Bravo! OGD emergence as the Executive Governor of the Gateway State brought new revolution and dimension to the politics and governance of the state, a standard that became a template for interested occupier/s of Oke-Mosan. Daniel’s style of leadership and governance could be liken to that of Thai Model of governance whereby the immediate needs of the people were prioritized based on the demand and yearning of the people. OGD’s administration witnessed tremendous achievements in terms of infrastructure, health, education, judiciary, Sports, economic vibe, massive job creation /employment, etc. That is not my obligation here, let his image makers continue from here. Lo and behold, in spite of the adulation that greeted such lofty and credible ideas of Otunba Daniel with good implementation; corruption, thuggery, uncivil and overzealousness of few of his aides and unjust killing of innocent citizens of the state rubbished the eight years tenure and public demand for change in Governance. …AND AMOSUN’S CONSOLIDATED VICTORY This development however, gave Senator Ibikunle Amosun public sympathy and support after a failed attempt to become Governor in 2007. Amosun became the State Governor in 2011 after a keenly contested election with Gbenga Daniel’s anointed candidate, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka under People’s Party of Nigeria (PPN). Despite the mouth watering amount spent by the then incumbent (Daniel), the people of the state stood their ground against any imposition and intimidation from the PDP government. Infact, another interesting scenario of the whole political saga was, inspite of the money distributed by Daniel and his cronies to convince the people to support his candidate, GNI, the people still continue to chant a particular slogan “Pin pin lowo Nasir” PPN (meaning Nasir money is for shared) which became a national anthem in the state. Amosun emerged with so much expectation that, normalcy would return to the state and livelihood of the people would improve under the new government and party. But today, reversed was the case. I may not be able to start analysing the events that unfold during the first term in office of Governor Ibikunle Amosun, except for the massive road construction and unnecessary overdo flyover bridges (we all know what is behind it, anyway) at the detriment of other sectors, but let’s give it to him on that, albeit we want to play politics here. In terms of road construction in the State Capital, Abeokuta, Amosun should be scored high, while many road projects in other zones {Yewa and Ijebu) were until now, abandoned. And I also believe that our memories is still very fresh to remember the odds that characterized the first year in office of his second term. WHERE DID PASEDA GOT IT WRONG? According to Africa proverb, caution should be taken when a dog that whine its tale to the owner, suddenly started barking, signifies a bad omen. The 2015 general elections in Ogun State created a new aura in the anal of political history of the state. The fact that, Senator Amosun was declared winner of the governorship election was not the focal point, but the hopes and courage for a better tomorrow with the introduction of a charitable and grassroot candidate, the man of the people who has been tagged as the Awolowo of this new dispensation in the person of Otunba Olatunde Rotimi Paseda gave the good people of the state a sigh of relieve that the future is secured and reason to believe in our democracy once again. Otunba Olatunde Rotimi Paseda, a seasoned administrator and an Engineer by profession, a man with an impeccable character who is God fearing declared his intention to serve the good people of Ogun State in less than six months to the 2015 elections under the platform of Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), but came third behind PDP’s governorship candidate, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka. Immediately after the announcement of the election results, Paseda told who care to listen that, Project 2019 would be another opportunity to save his people from the hardship and inhuman policies the APC government brought upon the state, since then, Otunba Rotimi Paseda became the beautiful bride in Ogun politics that every political Party want to toast. What then was his sin? Immediately he showed interest in running for 2019 project to change the dwindling fortune of Ogun State with the tagged of ancient state to eldorado of sort, all sort grandeur and mystery started connecting with his name. The discrepancy between the legend and the reality proved immensely disappointing to those who wanted to believe in their Messiah. Suddenly, Paseda became a household name and the new beautiful bride in Ogun politics. Ogun State is privileged to have one of the very few leaders with a mind of rendering selfless services to the people of the state. Olatunde Rotimi Paseda is one of the very few with Pa Awolowo’s legacy. ORP has fondly called, so much believe in giving back to the society that produced him. Olatunde Rotimi Paseda is the heir of Late Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo, the son of Efunyeloye. Olatunde Rotimi Paseda is the Moses that has eluded Ogun State and the South-West in times of yore. Despite the fact that, 2019 is three years away, already the political heat is on and some have started throwing pebbles /dynamite to destroy the personality of Otunba Paseda. Judging from the ongoing political onslaught, it is crystal clear that, the name Paseda signaled threat and intimidation to the opposition camps. If not, one begin to wonder why the sudden attack on the philanthropist and youth liberator. The recent facebook political witch-hunt by one political jobber to truncate the chances of Paseda on the order of his pay masters was another decoy to test his popularity, but whether day like it or not, Paseda has come to stay and a household name in Ogun politics today. The question that came to mind, was that, is their perception about Paseda the standard Ogun state people would use to measure Paseda? No matter what, Paseda has become a household name in Ogun, a feat which has been enhanced by his recent move to assist the challenged underprivileged people in the state. Otunba Rotimi Paseda is a born servant leader who exhibits the characteristics that only exceptional people possesses in politics. His humble life is a tapestry of success and accomplishment in all human endeavors. His excellence services in the service of the Lord, humanity and our community have placed him in the league of the few emerging leaders to look forward to lead our people to the promised land come 2019. Prince Olatunde Rotimi Paseda may not have held any political office in the past, but, his humanitarian gesture cannot be compare with any politicians who live large with government and tax payers money. I stand to be corrected. Among many other humanitarian services Otunba Paseda rendered through his foundation, Paseda Legacy Foundation include but not limited to, scholarship to 20 Future Promise College Students, provision of six electrical transformers to the neglected Omu – Ijebu community, payment of medical bill of an amputated patient at Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, flying abroad of kidney transplant of 9year-old Oluwatobi Solanke , payment of tuition fees a final year law student of Olabisi Obasanjo University, payment of tuition fee of students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, employment of two best mass communication graduates at his foundation, creation of skill acquisition programme for youths, among many others. When the hues about his experience originated, I was quick to ask, if OGD had any political inclination before he ventured into politics and governed the state in 2003? Unfortunately for these Facebook jobbers, Paseda has gone beyond the “Ali goes to school” politics and Pull Him Down antics, he is now being woo by the northerners to be their presidential candidate come 2019, a notion he dismissed instantly. Little wonder, they were quick to bestowed on him, a chieftaincy title of Garkuwan Hausawan of Ogun State to hijack him from the campaign of calumny. His recent visit to the North-west region of the country, liken him to one of the foremost Nigeria politicians and the acclaimed winner of June 12, 1993 Presidential election, late Chief MKO Abiola, who was more celebrated abroad than home. While he is being treated fairly at home by the power brokers, he became a toast of both old and young in the Hausa speaking states. Today, Paseda, the son of a village teacher and Store-keeper now rules the world with his chain of businesses spread across Europe and America where over 2,500 workers were on his payroll monthly, not minding the over bearing cost, Paseda recently recruited additional 3,000 staff to his companies in Nigeria to reduce the high rate of unemployment in the country. What else needed to be done by this great, but intelligent politician to serve Ogun State and his people? Is it because he had failed to join the array of political manslaughters that made him unqualified? Is it because he doesn’t have political godfathers who would dictate his mind and rig elections for him? Those condemnation holds no water, any way, as the persecutors failed to realize that, “One in God, is more than a million”. According to the prophecy of the late Sage, Obafemi Awolowo wherein he said, “a time is coming where the left and right will come together and form a centralized government”, already such testimony is beginning to manifest in Otunba Olatunde Rotimi Paseda as he is being taunted as the (central) only chain that will connect the powers that be together to form a formidable government that will move Ogun State to greater height irrespective of their political affiliation. After a long silence, founder of the Fresh Oil Ministry, Apostle Psalm Okpe has opened up on the circumstances that led to the death of a female gospel singer, Yvonne Omoarebokhae in his hotel room. Omoarebokhae died in a hotel room occupied by the preacher in Benin, Edo State on April 8, 2016. Okpe, who was detained for weeks, was accused by the husband of poisoning her wife. However, freedom came for the outspoken preacher when the autopsy revealed that the lady died of heart failure. He shared his traumatic experience with Daily Sun thus. “It so happened that rumours were flying about and people have not taken time to ask for my own side of the story. So, I want to use this opportunity to address the issue. “On March 18, 2016 at about 7am, I got a message inbox in my Facebook because of the previous posts I made regarding the crusades I wanted to take to all the universities. So, a lot of musicians across the country were sending inboxes; they wanted to join me to minister at the conferences. Of course, those who follow me on Facebook know that I give a lot of young people platform to excel; I have exposed a lot of musicians around the world. And in this country, I have taken a lot of pastors around the world. “So, on March 18, this year, this lady, Yvonne, sent me a message, saying she wanted to join the conference. I asked her if we had met before and she no, but that she was one of my fans on Facebook. I asked her where she was based and she said Benin. I told her I was in Benin few weeks earlier and she said that anytime I come to Benin I should let her know so she can join the conference. I told her I was coming to Sapele for a conference and when I eventually came, she offered to pick me from the airport. So, she came with a taxi driver and she was even the person who took me to the hotel where I paid. We moved straight away to Sapele. Sapele conference was in the morning. Having come back from the Sapele conference, everybody parted ways.” “The following morning, on April 8, she came at about 7am to pick me to buy some things and pick up my luggage. We came back to the hotel with the heavy bags and some people helped to carry the bags into my room. Then a friend called me and said that he wanted to see me because he had just finished his church cathedral. He wanted me to witness what God had done and in excitement, I told her that I wanted to introduce her to my friend so that she could minister in his church the following Sunday. But she said that she wanted to go home and, perhaps, bring food for me in the evening. I rejected her offer, telling her that I would eat in the hotel in the afternoon. She said that she wanted to charge her phone for a few minutes because her battery was going down. Finally, I left and I told her to drop the key at the reception when leaving.” “I came back after five hours and asked the receptionist for my key. The receptionist looked for the key but couldn’t find it. They asked if I left anybody in the room and I told them that the person I left there should have gone. I went up and knocked on the door but there was no response. I came back to the reception and a waiter went up with me. We opened the door and saw a lady neatly dressed and lying down on the bed. I never slept on that bed that day. If it were to be in America where they do finger prints and all that, I think I wouldn’t have passed through this storm the way it happened. “Coming in, I was on the phone on a very long international call that lasted for about 55 minutes because they were planning for a conference in Louisiana, USA. So, the pastor was talking to me regarding how to send my tickets among other things. Eventually, I started looking into her eyes because I was expecting that with the way I was talking on top of my voice, she would have some movement or something like that but there was no such. So, I was the one that went to her, shook her leg and hit her hand but she did not respond. So, I raised the alarm; I called the hotel management and they called the police. We called the ambulance and the police and I took her to the hospital. When we got there, the doctor pronounced her dead. “It was a very traumatic moment for me. One, she was a total stranger I never met anywhere. We were just trying to build father-daughter relationship spiritually. Unfortunately, that was what happened. We took her to the mortuary; it was very traumatic. I really felt so bad; it was like my whole world was collapsing. We couldn’t open her phone because it was pass-worded; nobody could call with it. I suggested to the police officers to remove the sim card and one of them put it inside his phone and later called one honourable that linked us to the husband. As at that time, I was already in detention. “One of the best pathology in Nigeria did the autopsy. I was not at the scene; my younger brother represented the family. At the end of the day, they found out that the woman died of heart failure. It was also shown that she had no poison in her body. After their investigation, the commissioner of police called both of us. For the first time, I got convinced that the police are really working because they stood on the ground of justice and it was vividly clear. I want to use this opportunity to thank the Nigeria Police; I am really proud of them. I did not meet the commissioner of police until the day both families were called together and given the news about the cause of death. The documents are with the family of the deceased. “I am deeply sorry for the death of this young lady; it was never meant to be. I am so shocked that she died. She could have died anywhere. What if she had died in her house? What if I was the one that slumped and died in the hotel when she came to visit me? “I am so sure in my conscience as a preacher who will stand before God that I am fully innocent of her death. I have no hand in it; I have never killed a chicken before, not to talk about a human being. They have the right to bring their own doctor and conduct any test they like. She was a daughter, a friend; somebody that I wished well. If she had died somewhere else and they called me for assistance, I would have sponsored the burial if I were not even connected to her in anywhere. It is unfortunate that people went around stating that I poisoned her or killed her to do ritual. I have never been to any shrine in my life. My father was a pastor; I grew up in a very strict ministry background. I have been preaching since when I was 15; this is my 26 years of preaching. I am too exposed to go into diabolical things.” http://www.saharaweeklyng.com/the-untold-story-of-how-female-gospel-singer-died-in-my-hotel-room-apostle-psalm-okpe-speaks-out/

Consequent upon Professor Alexia Thomas’ announcement on 6th of January 2016 and officially released to the Media Press 12th January 2016 as a proclamation that Britain’s Prime Minister, David Cameron’ government would be aborted, many received the awakening news with different perceptions but the fierce Chairman of Britain’s opposition party, The Commonwealth Liberation Party (TCLP) stood her ground maintaining Cameron will definitely be booted out of office on or about April 24. After warning Cameron’s government of stealing through taxation of income Tax/VAT among other consequential allegations, Prof. Thomas stressed the government lost its bid of representing the People by practicing Terror Justice and Tyranny against Members of the Commonwealth Nations. Not only that, a stern warning was similarly sent out to the People of England when the TCLP Chairman adjudicated and pronounced that Britain must leave European Union, during which she implored Commonwealth Citizens not to cast their votes for Britain to remain in EU. As the various campaigns for and against the referendum heightened, Prof. Thomas reiterated in an interview with SAFARI NEWS, saying Cameron knew his time was up because the Oracle had spoken. He had made up his mind top leave since April 24 but it was all a game for him to have remained to witness the voting yesterday”. At the early hours of today however, the World woke up with the News that Britain had claimed back its birthright by leaving the EU, a confirmation of Prof. Alexia Thomas’ April 6 proclamation and indeed, not only did Britain voted itself out of the EU, Prime Minster David Cameron at the break of the elections results, swiftly bowed out when he announced his immediate resignation as the PM. Speaking with SAFARI NEWS immediately after the pronouncement of Cameron’s resignation, the Royal Mother as she’s fondly referred to asserted that, “the World hasn’t seen anything yet, my revelations are out to open Peoples’ eyes and for Cameron, he knew his time was up. For Britain leaving the EU, it was something that must happen because Britain needed to take back its place to save its Monarchy from being quashed, the same way the UE had done to their domains”. Another shocker as Prof. Alexia Thomas handed down is, “Those that have been married to EU Citizens as a result of the EU Club arrangements are in for a surprise. Such marriages will sure be revoked by the time I continue to open up the consequences of the Confraternity”. Here, we produce excerpts of Prof. Thomas’ pronouncement of abolishment of Cameron’s government on 24th April 2016. “WHERE Justice Is Denied, Where Poverty Is Enforced, Where Ignorance Prevails, And Where One Class Is Made To Feel That Society Is An Organized Conspiracy To Oppress, Rob And Degrade Them, Neither Persons Nor Property Will Be Safe”, Postulates Frederick Douglass. It is an open-secret that the present Conservative style of Governance being led by David Cameron, British Prime Minister is built on Injustice, Evil, Oppression, Enslavement Mentality of the Coloured People with the sole intentions to practicing Terror and Tyranny against the People of Commonwealth Citizens. Certainly, this secretive group Cameron belongsis an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade the Coloured people. Professor Alexia Thomas, Chairman, The Commonwealth Liberation Party, TCLP, UK flays the wickedness on-going in British Government under the watchful eyes of Cameron and why his government would be abolished on or before 24thApril. Her press statement in London reads: “Your Policies are very contagious and destructive to Human Race, certainly denial is not an option. My Press statement dated 22/11/2015 clearly defined Constitution of Democratic System of Government Principles and practice as taught by the founding fathers headship Thomas Jefferson, the 3rd President of United States. Your Party has been a very destructive one-killing the Welfare and Wellbeing of the Coloured People and you will agree with me it is fair to ask the Queen Elizabeth II to use her Monarchical Powers to abolish your leadership or alter it by simply transferring powers to Labour Party headship. “Monarchical Throneship of Queen Elizabeth II has Powers to abolish your Leadership as this may not have been used before or such Redress of Government Abolishment has not been used since the 16th Century after the beheading of the King Charles I, though his death gave Rights to Ordinary Men like yourself the privileges to come to Power through enacting the Bill of Rights 1689. As the Chairman of The Commonwealth Liberation Party (TCLP) and the Chieftain of Commonwealth Treaty Alliance Commission, I tell you today such Powers to abort your Government will be executed on or before the 24th of April 2016, if you and your Cabinets Ministers fail to behave yourselves. Mr. David Cameron, know your Government could be pardoned from Penalty of Guilt as your Ignorance of lack of Political Mythology could eliminate your accountability to the Destructive values brought upon the People of the Commonwealth. On Cameron’s Government stealing from the citizens through tax exploitation, Professor Thomas said: “Your Government is Power intoxicated as through the Peoples’ votes you have Audaciously run United Kingdom Nation as an Outlaw Bandit, exploiting the Taxation System of Income Tax and VAT Tax at 20%, very unreasonable as this is stealing from the Citizens. Mr. Cameron how dare you Slander the Citizens of the Commonwealth Nations with Immigration Law, a Sham Legislation knowingfully well Britain never had Permittal to make 53 Commonwealth Nations their Colonies but instead forced Mastered them through Fierce and Death. We should be fair as a Race to the Cores Values of Commonwealth Nations who Britain bothered their Isolation and forcefully coerced them to accept the British Heritage in 15th Century ago. Unlimited Travel access to Commonwealth Citizens In hurtful tones, her letter reads: “Mr. Cameron, know it today United Kingdom is indebted to the Commonwealth Nations and their Citizens. Until the 51 Countries of African and Asia Continents realise Full Civilization, their Citizens must continue to have Unlimited access to Travel to the United Kingdom and the Immigration Confraternity Laws debarring their Rights must be abolished without Deliberation or Compromise. To this End, all Immigration Detention Centers in the United Kingdom must be demolished and all the German Investors having Shares in the Immigration Business and Services of Border Control and Technological Facilities should be paid back their Investment as they must now find other Trade to make their gains because the Commonwealth Citizens Detention is not a Sector for Investment. Simply do not Say no Money to pay them. The process is simple, just Print more money and pay them as Money is a Piece of Paper meant to fool the Governed because Politics is a Ghostly Operations. “United Kingdom found Riches and Greatness in the 15th Century from the Commonwealth Countries and their Citizens and till date, your Government is still in continual receipt of Royalties from these Poor Slaved Continents of Africa and Asia, yet your Conscience fears no Retribution, because God created them to be of less Values to the White Race. This should not be a bias reason because Humans has bigger Brains, so the Conscience of Guilt should supersede Conscience of Destruction of the Human Race and for this reason Slavery as a Business was abolished in United Kingdom and America. David Cameron’s Govt to Disband from Office Standing on truth, Professor Thomas dares British Prime Minister when she explained: “Mr. Cameron, I say unto you Verily, Verily, Verily, your Government will be Disband and Disgraced out of Number 10 Downing Street. Know very well as I said this Words to you, we are Equal in Powers of Governance and the difference is your Vote gives you access to Print Money and control UK Money Supply and the Economy. The only reason you may gullibly assumed you are more Superior than myself is because the Police, Army, Navy, Immigration and Crown Servants are paid by your Government. Mr. Cameron I am your Competitor and as an Opposition Government, we “The Commonwealth Liberation Party (TCLP)”, are not readily bothered about who Rules. What matters is who Rules the People of United Kingdom must have the Knowledge, the Principles, the Respect, the Compassion, the Protection, the Appreciation and the Values to the People with Rights of Sovereignty. “Any Ruling Government must respect Human Values, Integrity and Dignity of Human Substance. If you read ‘TCLP’ Teachings and Doctrines, you will see our generosity over view in a Reflection, as I will expect you this year to get some serious Education and your Cabinet Ministers should equally go for Mind Development Training on Humanity Courses or else they could possibly go to Jail ‘En masse’ in the next 15years because of the ‘Enormous and Ferocious Atrocities’ they have committed in the Term of your Government. Money is simply irrelevant as you know the Tricks in Government since Headship. Money is a Piece of Paper. The fact your Conservative Party has made it more important than Human Lives and values, the need of changing School Syllabus is essential. The Amendment of School Syllabus and Curriculum Vitae is Mandatory; So Students will be taught Humanity and Human Values as a Course and the Consciousness of Resistance to refuse Cash, among others. However, following the much-publicised campaigns and lobbying for Britain’s remaining in the European Union, Her Knowlegeable Prof. Alexia Thomas on April 20 send strong warnings to the British people not to allow the “EU Club” to kill its Monarchy by taking to remaining in the EU. Here’s the excerpts from her April 20 warnings which actually came to pass earlier today; “In her published article- ‘The Secret Plot of the EU and the Hunt for Judaism’, her Mythological teachings illustrated the fierce Wars of the EU Criminal Masterminded plot, rivalry fierce battle between the British Empire and the German Nation dates back to the era of 18th Century when Queen Victoria, the Great Grand Mother of the current Queen Elizabeth II was on the Throneship. The propensity of the dispute leading to the War and the Marriage between the British Kingdom, the German Nation and all Countries in the EU started in 1914 of the First World War and 1939 of the Second World War. Queen Victoria sent her grandson Prince Leopold Charles Edward George, Duke of Albany, Duke of Saxe-Coburg to Germany to rule her Empire. Prince Leopold Charles Edward, second Duke of Albany, Earl of Clarence and Baron Arklow, was born at Claremont House in Surrey (1884). He was Queen Victoria’s favourite grandson. He got married to a German woman Viktoria Adelheild, Princess of Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Gluckburg on 11thOctober 1905 in Glucksburg Castle, Gluckstadt, Slesvig-Holstein, Prussia. They had five children namely: Johann Leopold-Hereditary of Saxe Coburg Gotha, Sibylla-Princess of Saxe Coburg Gotha, Hubertus Dietmar Friedrich Wilhelm- Prince of Saxe Coburg Gotha, Caroline Mathilde-Princess of Saxe Coburg Gotha and Friedrish Josias Carl Eduard-Prince of Saxe Coburg Gotha. Queen Victoria died and in that era the German Nation fought the British Kingdom in the First World War and Prince Leopold Charles Edward joined the German to fight against his own Country. The German lost the First World War and the Royal family of The Duke in England believes the act of The Duke to take sides with German was Traitorship. He was stripped off his Royal Peerages. In 1918, Prince Leopold Charles Edward George was forced to abdicate his ducal throne after he joined the German Empire during World War I to fight against Britain. He was never forgiven by his cousins, as he was seen as a traitor for the role he played in First World War 1. He was banished from England. He was denied his birthright by the ruling British Empire, deprived of his British rights, denied his title of Prince and Royal Highness in British honours in 1919. He joined the German Nazi Party and served in a number of positions in Nazi Germany, and in 1930s to 1940s was President of the German Red Cross. He was the maternal grandfather of Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and the younger brother of Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone. This royal Prince born in Buckingham Palace, London created Earl of Clarence, and Baron Arklow. The Germans called him Karl Eduard. Professor Thomas Chieftain Commonwealth Treaty Alliance Commission unveiled the truth that the animosity and fierce rivalry amongst the Royal descendants of UK Monarchy and exiled descendants of the late Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha settled in Germany and other countries of the EU will see the Commonwealth Nations destroyed. In that revenge of the Duke is to destroy the Commonwealth Nations which automatically end the Sovereignty of the UK and Her Monarchy. Professor Thomas explained: “In this coming UK election, Britain Must Leave European Union or else they must be ready to kill Her Monarchy and destroy The Commonwealth. Commonwealth Citizens are advised not to vote Britain in EU.” In a-20 pages article report titled ‘The Secret Plot of EU Agenda and the Hunt for Judaism’, her educative messages have brought huge ........ .................. One of the missing factors in Nigeria’s political leadership equation, is the persisting lack of requisite experience and will on the part of the principal actors to serve the state instead of the self. Thus, we have been bedeviled by the dark-horse syndrome. The other is the internecine gambit for the plums and perquisites of office, characterized by intrigues, mischief making and sheer blackmail, sometimes using armed thugs to brow beat real and perceived political foes.Yet, a third and quite distasteful ingredient in the potpourri of power is the obscene display of ill-gotten wealth aimed at courting the voters’ favour and thereby swaying his choice, all for monetary gains. But for how long would this continue? That is the million-naira question. Truth is, that where competent, committed, courageous and patriotic politicians emerge on the scene their path to accessing the pedestal of power is literally strewn with thistles and thorns. There is however, one concerned Nigerian well-heeled in the art and science of politics who is battle-ready to make the paradigm shift. He wants to be the exception rather than the rule. And he is none other than the two-time Senator Ajayi Boroffice, representing Akoko North Constituency, using the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC). But he knows it is not going to be a walk in the park. As he highlighted in a recent media chat, it is sad to note that sometimes you need the money and the thugs He should know. All through his political career he has distanced himself from anything that has to do with violence or throwing money about all because he wants some fleeting political position. As the Asiwaju of Akokoland; a dignifying position thrust upon him after the demise of Chief Rufus Giwa he has become a worthy role model to all. Indeed, he wants to be the exception rather than the rule of brigandage in politics. He did not condescend to the use of thugs or foul language when he contested and convincingly won the Senatorial seat on two occasions. Not even when he squared up against a formidable candidate such as Chief Bode Jumoke. And he is not going to do so currently. Instead, he wants to make the difference-to leave a legacy of positively impacting on the sustainable quality of life of his people. This he has amply demonstrated by his several philanthropic gestures. Over the years, he has sponsored the sinking of bore holes in virtually all the towns and villages across the Senatorial District that he represents. In addition, he has engaged in youth and women empowerment for skills acquisition and self-reliance. To further this noble cause, he donated grinding machines, motorcycles, in addition to 100 cars and 200 tricycles to those who needed them most. For someone much-respected for his loyalty to the party, Boroffice firmly believes in the principles of putting the larger picture above his selfish ambitions. His victory at the polls in 2011 was seen by some as riding on the popularity of Governor Mimiko, then on the platform of the Labour Party, LP. But his successes using the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN and later the APC have shown that he is constantly faithful to any cause he believes in. For instance, when in 2012 Barrister Akeredolu clinched the party’s ticket for the gubernatorial race, ahead of him he remained in the party. Even when some politicians such as the former Deputy Governor,Ola Olanusi, and others such as Olu Agunloye, Saka Lawal, Olaiya Oni as well as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly left he stayed loyal and used his influence to win Akoko South-West added to Akoko North for the party. Such a rare form of unflinching loyalty he has also demonstrated when crisis reared its ugly head at the Senate. Having stayed in the APC for the four years of its existence, combined with the ever-expanding political structures on ground and the aforementioned loyalty, Boroffice stands head and shoulders above the pack to clinch the coveted governorship of the APC.The other factor that stands him in good stead is his wealth of professional experience. This includes his untainted career, that has seen him as a professor of molecular biology at the premier University of Ibadan, subsequently as the Director/Science Coordinator at the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology and DG of NASDRA. Thus, all these have fully equipped him to have a holistic view and vision on how to transform Ondo from that of a purely civil service state, dependent on the hand out allocations from the Federation Account to becoming an industrial hub. First, is the natural advantage of it being a coastal state; with the longest coastline amongst the West African countries. It has the second largest deposit of bitumen, next to Canada in the entire world and fifth largest deposit of crude oil as far as the Nigerian nation state is concerned.Other minerals found, all in commercial quantity include coal, kaolin, columbine, clay, tin, talc, quart sand, granite and limestone. With him, investors would be interested to build state-of-the-art oil refineries. They will also assist to resuscitate ceramics factory in Okeluse and build a deep sea port at Okitipupa. This would serve as an alternative to the Lagos ports and a choice destination for importers and exporters, rather than Cotonou. With rubber, cashew and cola nut in abundance agriculture-related industries could spring up.With him in the saddle, the state could establish cocoa-based factories as the largest producer in the country. Thousands of indigenes will be employed. Lasting wealth would be created. The Internally Generated Revenue,IGR will jerk up, to put a permanent smile on the forlorn faces of the long-suffering workers currently owed months of salaries. With the growing clamour for the diversification of the economic base from the mono-product of oil, it should be obvious that Ondo state needs an erudite, globally recognized scientist in the mold of Boroffice to turn its fortunes around. He is a man whose time has truly come. But will the good people of the Sunshine State heed the clarion call? The answer lies in the voters’ hands. They should remember that man’s destiny is guided by the choices he makes. http://www.saharaweeklyng.com/ondo-2016-history-beckons-on-apc-governorship-candidate-senator-ajayi-boroffice/

Popular Prophet, Joshua Iginla is presently one of the few men of God that hear from God clearly judging by his antecedents. He made so many predictions about Nigeria and other countries which most of them have been coming to pass. It would be recalled that he predicted Ebola re-surfacing in Liberia, Governor Wike’s Victory, Bayelsa election violence, Protests and strike in the Nigerian economy, Hike in petrol price, and many more. However, One of his prophecies that shook the nation was about our President, Muhammadu Buhari. It was a hot one as so many thought it was a joke or something unserious. Talking about the prophecy, He said ‘The president should pray because there will be an attempt over his life. I see serious health issue. He should pray to finish his tenure’ and last two weeks, it was revealed that the President Buhari has been hit by an ‘Ear Infection’ and was been treated in Aso rock. This made the President cancel most of his appointment hereby making VP Yemi Osinbajo the acting President. This sudden ailment caused a mixed feeling when the Presidency announced the Buhari will be going to USA for medical treatment after been treated by over 29 Nigerian Doctors. It was the talk in town as people believe it was a more serious health issue. During his Sunday live service at Champions Royal Assembly, Kubwa, Abuja on the 19th of June 2016 he reminded the country about his warning on the Presidents health issue but insisted he is praying fervently for him http://www.saharaweeklyng.com/how-fiery-prophet-joshua-iginla-predicted-pres-buharis-ailment-more-prophecy-fulfillment/

It is no longer a way of giving back to the society, but a routine in impacting positively into the lives of the younger generation in Nigeria. The convener of a Non-Governmental Organization of the Jewel Empowerment Foundation, Nollywood actress, Fisayo Ajisola and her team taught some Secondary school students in Lagos State on the nutty gritty on how to know their rights and how they can be useful to themselves, parents and society. According to the organizers of the annual event held at Bluedreams International School, Alakuko, on May 25, it coincided with the last Children’s Day celebration which also afford the participant the opportunity associate with themselves as well as celebrated it in a unique way. The one-day YALI Learn event tagged: “Understanding the Rights of Women and Girls” expressed the values and importance of knowing ones right. It also laid emphasis on the roles of the feminine that they are they have the power to create, nurture and transform. Keynote speakers at the seminar include: Dr Abisoye Lawal and Mr. Ademola Olaniyi and Miss Fisayo Ajisola all did justice to the sub-topic: Supporting a Girl’s Right to Learn; Paving the Way for Women Entrepreneurs and Ending Violence against Women and Girls. Their excellent handling of the sub-topic ensured that our target audience grasped the message easily and relate with the pressing issues women and girls go through in our society, while Lawal told the pupils that, “One of the great limitations to women right activism is that, it was seen as a fight against men instead of as a fight for women with men. Everything that a man is entitled to, a woman is entitled to it.” Ajisola told R that the initiative which has been contributing to the betterment of the society over this years, this time round made it commitment known in supporting gender equity by organizing. She also thanked all and sundry that contributed to the success of the event, especially the MTN Foundation. http://www.saharaweeklyng.com/actress-fisayo-tells-youths-to-know-their-right/

Barely few days after a governorship aspirant under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress APC Dr. Olusegun Abraham was disgraced by the wife of the national leader Senator Oluremi Tinubu, another aspirant Barr. Olusola Oke has also received the disgrace of his life when he was prevented from entering Asiwaju’s residence in Ikoyi Lagos after an unscheduled visit. Oke who arrived at the home of the national leader in the company of his wife and supporters on Tuesday was told in plain language by security operatives that he cannot be allowed to see Asiwaju since he had no prior appointment with the leader. Meanwhile, Asiwaju was around having a meeting with members of the Lagos GAC on political situation in the State. This same Oke was alleged to have thrown the votes of the APC into the Lagoon in the riverine area of Ondo State during the last election. He later joined the APC after the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the 2015 presidential poll. This has become a big dent on the ambition of the former National Legal Adviser of the PDP, between 2008 and 2012 to campaign on the platform of the APC in the coming election. Many members of APC in Ondo State see him as a stranger within the party and are of the view that he is only confessing APC by mouth, his soul belongs to the PDP. Hence, he is not qualified to be their gubernatorial flag bearer. http://www.saharaweeklyng.com/ondo-state-governorship-aspirant-barr-olusola-oke-disgraced-barred-from-seeing-asiwaju-bola-tinubu/

She could not hide her happiness as she shed tears of joy, and with a trembling voice expressed her joy and excitement. The story is short: The Senior Pastor of Champions Royal Assembly, Kubwa, Abuja, Joshua Iginla, recently made a mess of the popular saying that life begins at 40 for an 80-year-old woman, Madam Christiana Edegi, when he gave the octogenarian a brand new saloon car during his birthday. Unlike others who were presented with various gifts, Mama’s case was unique. According to what Sahara Weekly gathered exclusively, Mama, who attends the church once told the man of God that, “Man of God, I’m praying for you. God will always give you more grace and enablement.” On the said day, Pastor Iginla acknowledged Mama’s comment but Mama has continued with her daily supplication until recently that her persistence paid off. Surprisingly, during the celebration, Madam Christiana was called out in church amidst admiration for this singular act. She was celebrated and a brand new saloon car was handed over to her. The General Overseer of Champions Royal Assembly, Pro. Joshua Iginla has enjoined the Buhari led government to fix the Niger Delta issue with caution. According to the Abuja based clergy while ministering on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Champions Royal Assembly to commemorate independence day he charged that until the problems of that region is tackled from the root, Nigeria will continue to struggle. He said how can the producers of oil be in myraids of socio economic problems and expect peace to reign in the country . Furthermore , he claimed that the major issue affecting the development of the country is that we have many people who are interested in harvesting without sowing. Iginla stated that if we don’t fix that issue, It will be difficult for the country to move forward as expected. ” we claimed we are celebrating democracy day but until we tackled the major problems plaguing us from the source, it would be difficult to enjoyed the dividend of democracy. Look at what’s happening in the Niger Delta. How can the community producing the oil be in abject poverty and expect peace to reign? It’s sad when the products are suffering and harvesters enjoying the benefits from the oil. That’s why their is agitation from that region. Also, aside corruption we should tackle the menace of tribalism . We are so tribalistic in this country and it’s having an adverse effect on us. That’s why Nigeria is still crawling. Until we deal with the foundation we will continue to grapple with the numerous issues affecting us” http://www.saharaweeklyng.com/democracy-day-is-an-illusion-until-we-deal-with-the-source-pro-joshua-iginla/

Prophet T.B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church Of All Nation (SCOAN), made some shocking revelations on his Emmanuel TV station concerning Nigeria and the world at large, on Sunday May 22,2016. The ‘prophet’ spoke on many issues including the recent EgyptAir crash, African politics and agriculture, even warning of a terrorist attack in the United Kingdom. He read out a transcript of the prophecies he had given during his New Year’s Crossover Service, highlighting particularly the national food scarcity. On each point read, he expanded further, detailing what Nigeria and Africa are to expect in the nearest future. FOOD SCARCITY “There will be large scale scarcity, shortage of food. As a state, country, continent, we have to go back to the farm to arrest, to alleviate the forthcoming situation”, he read. Further expanding on the details of the prophecy, he said, “It is only a ‘shortage’ that you are experiencing now; you have not experienced ‘large scale.’ ” Giving further insight, he proclaimed, “This one that I am saying now, ‘scarcity’, ‘large scale’, it’s a proverb. Whatever you can do from now till December – all of your money you will use to buy food – you will not have enough to buy.” Advising those in the real-estate business he said, “If you are the type planning to build a house now, stop it for the mean time. If you are in the business of buying land, stop it for the mean time – look for another business. Stop it for the mean time until February next year. Use that money on the need of people now.” Giving a sombre warning, he said, “I’m preparing you. Get ready; lager scale scarcity is coming!” In the last few days, Nigerians have woken up to the stark reality of the rising food scarcity. Several reports were released on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday detailing the extent of the current national food woes. Tomato ebola, violence from fulani herdsmen, missed harvests and rising transportation costs have all been attributed as the cause of the food shortage and spiralling food prices. On the rise of “tomato ebola”, Kaduna state agriculture commissioner, Manzo Daniel, said: “This is only the beginning of a disaster if we don’t take drastic measures because the disease is fast spreading across the north.” NIGERIA’S ECONOMY; On the economic plight Nigerians are facing, Joshua read from his beginning of year prophecies: “The president will do everything to reject devaluation of the naira – which is a good idea from a good leader. But there will be overwhelming pressure which he will not be able to resist. Nigeria, we are in a valley. The future is crying for help.” Expanding on the ‘valley’, Joshua said: “I explained that we are in a valley but it is not the valley of the shadow of death. There is no snake or scorpion, it’s different. When you are in the valley you will cry and cry but you will still get out of the valley.” “You have to continue to cut your coat according to your size. Don’t just continue to spend your money on something that won’t be able to help you. Spend your money on something that the whole world will be looking for – food, shelter.” AFRICAN POLITICS; Moving on the political climate in Africa, Joshua noted: “African leaders should quickly arrest the political situation. 50% of counties that do elections, at least 45% of them will face crisis. More African countries will be under siege by terrorists because of pros and cons in choosing leaders. Mishandling of electoral processes will create a conducive atmosphere for terrorists.” UK TERROR WARNING; Joshua also claimed to have seen an attack in the United Kingdom. He said: “Pray for the United Kingdom like the railways, people, and crowds where people gather because I’m seeing some funny people in their country. But I am seeing with prayer and proper security it will be avoided but there will be a sign or trace that this happened but it will not happen the way that it was supposed to have happened but they will know that something happened there.” The day following Joshua’s warning, 27 schools had to close nationwide in the UK due to a bomb scare. Apparently, anonymous repeated calls were made to each school, warning of explosive devices. The callers told the receptionists that “if the school called the police the bomb would be detonated immediately”. The threats continued on Tuesday with more schools being evacuated. ANOTHER PLANE INCIDENT; On the Egypt Air crash, Joshua said: “Egypt has happened and the other one I am seeing is very close and I am going to say the country and the place. This one that I am seeing now is bigger than the one that happened. This one is very close now. Every airport security must be tight. You should be careful who you employ to fly as a pilot or flight attendant because they too will apply for this kind of job and they will be patient enough; if it is one or two years they will be patient until the achieve their goal.” The cleric dishes out national and international predictions on a regular basis, using the platform of his Sunday services, broadcast live on his Emmanuel TV. While some embrace his prophecies, upholding him as an end-time prophet, others are highly sceptical. Despite mixed reactions to his prophecies and purported miracles, Joshua has a huge following worldwide, with his YouTube Channel having over 350,000 subscribers and 2.2million following him on Facebook.

Just as the Ogun State Government failed in its responsibility to condole the family of the affected victims of the state government’s collapsed building at Itoku Market in Abeokuta, the former governorship candidate, Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), Prince Olatunde Rotimi Paseda has given succor to the family of late Noyimot Oloponda who died in the collapsed Itoku Market shopping complex. Paseda who visited the deceased’s residence at Emere, Itoko in Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State at the weekend, commiserated with the family and prayed for God’s guidance over the two children left behind by the deceased. Paseda who blamed the state government for playing politics with the project, enjoined Governor Amosun to prosecute the contractor and everybody connected with the project. The mechanical Engineer who promised to give scholarship to the deceased children through his foundation, Paseda Legacy Foundation, donated a Skye Bank Cheque of N50,000 to the deceased mother, Mrs. Wurimotu Sikiru. “I commiserate with you over the death of our person, my sister who lost her live in the government building at Itoku, death is inevitable, but the circumstances at which she died is unbearable and should be questioned. It is unfortunate and sad times, but God knows best and cannot query Him. I can only pray that God give you the fortitude to bear the loss. “On behalf of my foundation, the education of the children left behind shall be adequately funded, may God help us.” ORP as fondly called, while speaking with the mammoth crowd at the Itoku market, promised to petition the state government from further demolition of the people’s houses without putting necessary palliative measures in place for the people. “We want infrastructure as a means of developing the state, but that should not be at the detriment of the masses. You cannot demolish people’s houses without putting in place alternatives for them. Government should always engage with the people for meeting to actually fashion out the success of such project. “I am not a government worker neither a political appointee, but I’ve listened to your plight and I can assure you that, I’m going to interface with the state government on your behalf to halt further demolition of your property. I will petition Governor Amosun and if he insisted on demolishing your houses to pave way for new shopping complex, I will retort to legal action and fight for your cause “ http://www.saharaweeklyng.com/paseda-visits-collapsed-abeokuta-complex-donates-cash-to-deceased-family-pics/
