God has been so faithful to the entire Greater Liberation City all over the world, because God has kept his church waxing stronger and winning soul to its kingdom and depopulating the kingdom of darkness, those are the words of the Senior Pastor, Mountain of Liberation and

Recounting God faithfulness before preaching the word of God, the Apostle of Altars, Dr Chris okafor said he remembered vividly, how God
has protected the church from various attacked, different plan of the devil that was aborted and also so many attacked on his person, but
with all this, God still remain itself, God never allow these to consume the church, instead the church is moving from glory to glory,
the Generational Prophet of God also remembered how the church which began inside a classroom with just 20 members 15 years ago, now has metamorphose to “Mecca of sort” where people run to for words/miracles/deliverance with over 7000-8000 worshippers at any of
its service.

The Oracle of God, Dr Chris okafor also remembered God faithfulness over his life, six years ago when he was abducted for 53 days, the plan of the enemies then was to kill him and stop the church, because
they had known the vision/mission of the church which included to win 1 billion soul and depopulated the kingdom of darkness, so there
strategies was to stop this mission through the kidnapping but the almighty God that gave the instruction to go and win 1 billion souls
did not allow their plan to manifest, today am alive and the Gospel of Light to the kingdom of God is moving across the globe, we have been
able to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every part of the world, he declared

In his message title ‘’REMEMBER’’ the Apostle of Altars Dr Chris okafor said one of the ways to get more blessing from God is to show loyalty by remembering all God faithfulness towards one, this act of remembering brings God presences to someone life, because with this act you are reminding God also, of all your commitment to him and in return you are blessed. The Generational Prophet of God re emphasized that remembering God faithfulness brings more glory, more breakthrough towards one life without bitterness.

Few weeks ago, a video went viral of a man who got married to his guitar in Lagos. This brought about mixed feelings especially in the social media space. Most of the comments were really funny as some feel it's crazy.

Sunday Adelaja : The Devil’s Master Or The Fallen ‘Angel’ looking for saints to drag in the mud



Since when did Pastor Sunday Adelaja becomes the devils advocate?

Arguably one of the Nigerian pastors who was doing greatly in Europe is Sunday Adelaja, the founder of Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations. He had one of the largest churches in the world and one of the highest number of members any pastor could think of.



Anything that has to do with a successful ministry was associated with him, he was the man everyone wanted to be like. Infact, he got to a point in ministry where he was involved in decision making in Ukraine and became a reference point for popular preachers in Nigeria.

He had a lot of followers online too, his live videos, podcasts, youtube videos were the talk of the town due to the kind of teachings he taught, they were glorifying and edifying to the spirit but in one way or the other, he singlehandedly invited the devil into his life and fell drastically from grace to grass and from the leader of one of the largest churches to a clergy without pulpit and thus because one of to the devils advocate attacking the real men of God.

His attacks on men of God however isn’t something shocking. For someone who has been drenched in several kind of sins ranging from fraud to deception, immorality,adultery and so on, he wouldn’t want to go down the drain alone but would want to drag other men of God with him and unknown to him, he is putting more coal to the fire of punishment that is being prepared for him.

All this didn’t just happened suddenly. As the saying goes, ‘Pride goeth before destruction’. One of the things that killed the ministry of Pastor Sunday Adeleja was pride. He had almost everything a Pastor should have but not humility. He was a hot cake then and placed himself so high against what the bible preaches. He began to attack Nigerian pastors and their teachings. He began to point out the wrongs in their teachings, he turned himself to a judge whereas, even the bible asks us not to Judge so we won’t be judged. He refused to take off the dirt in his own eyes first but busy advocating for the devil. His case is like kettle calling the pot black. He didn’t think about all these, all because of pride and according to the bible
Isaiah 14:12-15

"How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! "But you said in your heart, 'I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. 'I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.'
"Nevertheless you will be thrust down to Sheol, To the recesses of the pit.’’

It all started with adultery scandal which erupted only after some women revealed the affairs to other area pastors, who made information public and initiated investigation.

Mr Adelaja, who earlier repeatedly denied being involved in sexual relationship with parishioners, was unfrocked and removed from leadership of the church, preaching, and counseling, according to the Russian Union of Christians of Evangelical Faith (ROSHVE).



The decision was taken after the US settled Apostle Tuff Ulissis, who performed spiritual care for Sunday Adelaja for several years, sent a letter to all the leaders in the “Embassy” that shed light on the gravity of the situation.



During the meeting with pastor Adelaja and his wife, pastor Bose Adelaja, Mr Ulissis found out that Adelaja confessed to having affairs with at least 20-30 women both single and married (and probably even more as he could't tell the precise number of victims) and repented of his sins but did it in perfunctory manner.



The clergyman also talked to women, both married and single, who told him about Adelaja systematically using various manipulation techniques, flattering words, and his own position to force them into sexual encounters.



In a letter Apostle Tuff Ulissis wrote: "All the stories were equally horrific, disgusting and depressing. People are very sorry about the current situation with the pastor and wanted him to have psychiatric help.



I made it clear that my aim is not to destroy either the Embassy of God, because many people have found help in the church or Pastor Sunday as a person. I wanted to make sure that everything has been done to these women and the couples have received care, reconciliation and redeeming restoration."



Interestingly, Adelaja's confession came one month after he shared a video on his blog titled “Sexual Sin Is Not Enough to Take You to Hell.” (now deleted) What is even more surprising is that the church has not issued a public statement regarding the case as an inside matter.



Meanwhile, Adelaja’s Facebook and blog are still active. By the way, he was also accused of being involved in fraud and the dealings of King’s Capital, a financial group led by a former member of his congregation. Adelaja is reportedly planning to move from Ukraine to Nigeria for some time.

However, after facing all these struggles which is the devil’s handwork, instead of asking for forgiveness and repenting, he went ahead and started attacking real men of God, looking for ways to drag them to the mud he is. Could it be depression or frustration?

The first Man Of God he criticised was the General Overseer Of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye, he pointed out a mistake in his teaching and called him a lair

In a video published to YouTube, Adelaja replays a video of Adeboye lecturing on the subject ‘Sacrifice Overturns Wrath’ in which he quotes Psalm 41:1-3, using the Scriptural reference to encourage attendees to financially partner with his ministry.

“If you are a giver, when you are sick, God will visit you”, Adeboye is seen stating in the video, while reading out from the bible.



But Adelaja pointed out that Psalm 41 actually states, “Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble”.

He explained that the context refers to giving to the less privileged, not to a church or pastor. The founder of Embassy of God described Adeboye’s interpretation as a “broad daylight lie. He is twisting the Bible just for people to give to him’’

Few days after Pastor Sunday Adelaja,the General Overseer of the Kiev, Ukraine-based Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations, attacked Dr. Paul Enenche, the founder of Dunamis International Gospel Center. He accused him of using magic and rituals to perform miracles without any cogent proof, the church however replied him and asked him to face the many scandals hanging on his neck.

He also attacked The Founder Of Believers’ world AKA Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, The Founder Of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Prophet TB Joshua and accused them of faking miracles.

This kind of person should be likened to Satan who was sent away from the midst of angels in heaven and started tormenting the children of God and even at that, Satan’s sins wasn’t as much as this before he was sent off. Hence, Sunday Adelaja should be seen as the Devil’s master.

MTN is draining us – Customers laments as they settle for alternatives


One of Nigeria’s communication giants, MTN is in the news again for the wrong reasons. This time it bothers on the dubious data services provided and the bad network the company has made Nigerians suffer from.


The company no doubt has been a source of happiness for some Nigerians with their several corporate social responsibilities. The likes of MTN Project Fame, Who wants to be a millionaire, MTN Foundation, to mention few.


However, aside all these CSR, what really concerns Nigerians is the quality of their products and services which the company is seriously failing at presently.


Information made available after an opinion poll carried out by Osho Oluwatosin, the Publisher Of Trixx NG revealed that some of the users claimed that MTN for the past two weeks has been really bad and has given them countless numbers of reasons to quit and settle for other networks. Most of them complained mainly on the call services and data services.

-Adeyemi Olufunke says MTN has been really bad for some days now, whenever I call, people don’t here me, I keep hearing strange sounds, It wasn’t just for a day, even till now as I speak, sometimes when I try to recharge, I get error messages that the service isn’t available.


- Olagunju Fola – MTN made me suffer o, I tried to recharge directly from my bank a week ago to my MTN line, it kept on saying the service is unavailable, I tried for five times all to no avail, so it thought the problem was my bank, I then tried to recharge on my Airtel line, it worked immediately so I knew it was MTN. Unfortunately, on the morning of the next day, I started getting alert and the airtime I tried to load started coming in, it came in the five times I tried, I just felt like crying.


- Amaka Ezinne – MTN Data is just the worst as I speak, before now, I use 1 Gig for almost a month but now, it barely lasts for four days, it’s just somehow to me, how can I be wasting N500 every four days to sub on MTN, it’s so annoying, I’m looking for a better network now,I’m already planning to leave MTN as soon as possible


Uche Isreal – MTN is really draining us, they don’t have anything to offer anymore, MTN N500 Data plan for 750Mb is a scam, they claim to give us 500MB and 250MB to use in the midnight, it’s all lies, it doesn’t last me for two days.

Anthony Evans – This MTN case is an issue of discuss in my area, when I think of it I just feel sad because how can I be subscribing almost every day, I am an online marketer and I need to be online most times but MTN just wants to send me out of business, I have started using another network though.

It seems all is not well in the camp of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) owned by one of Nigeria’s finest artiste, David Adeleke AKA Davido. One of its most recent signees, Idowest, who was popular for his ‘Shepeteri’ song has reportedly left the label.

Davido signed the talented artiste on May 24, 2018 and announced on his instagram page with the caption ‘’Welcome to DMW !! IDOWEST!!!!!! You have proved ur worth!!!! NOW LETS GET MONEY!! JI MASUN’’.
The fans of Davido and Idowest all leaped for joy after the great announcement but 6 months later, all seems to have turned sour between both of them.

On Idowest’s Instagram page, he has also changed his booking mail to his personal one instead of DMW’s.

Three crowns milk causes havoc as spoilt milk stinks hard, endangers Lives of Lagos residents


One of Nigeria’s milk production companies, Friesland Campina Nigeria, which houses Peak Milk and Three Crowns is no doubt not in the best state of management at the moment due to some avoidable happenings that has left residents of the host community in awe. The branch of the company going through that phase is Three Crowns PLC situated in Ogba, Lagos.
It came to our understanding that for some days now, Ogba can be best described as a ‘no-go’ area especially on the street where three crowns is located due to the offensive smell oozing out of the company like that of a dead animal.

Further checks by Sahara Weekly revealed that the smell is from the milk factory due to the inappropriate disposal of waste by the company.


However, residents of the area are not the only one suffering from this night mare, passersby, motorists and those who ply that road in carrying out their daily activities are also complaining of the offensive smell caused by Three Crowns.
In an opinion poll carried out by our reporter yesterday, Friday, 2nd Of November,2018, about the incidents, residents of the area cried out for help from the government and appropriate authorities to find a solution to it as they can’t walk around without nose covers. They alleged they can’t stay indoors without locking their windows to prevent the smell or else, their breathe will be tampered with which can cause danger to their health.

This is not an encouraging situation at all especially when it is coming from a company that has been in Lagos for decades and for the fact that it is a producer of products that will be consumed by human being, a lot of hygiene is expected of them.

Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, and other passengers narrowly escaped death on a troubled Arik Air flight from Port Harcourt to Lagos, according to eyewitnesses. The incident, related by Grend Miebaka Ibimina and Oraye St. Franklyn in a written account making the rounds among Amaechi’s allies on WhatsApp. Arik Air Flight W3745 reportedly left Port Harcourt around 10pm on Sunday but did not land in Lagos until 01:02am on Monday.

The account, written by Ibimina, begins thus: “Children of God, let us return the glory to God Almighty for saving the life of our own man of awesome grace the Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, and that of many others, in an aborted plan crash. I had confirmed the incident from him, he said: True, God is great”.”
Continuing, the account says: “THE GOD SAVED RT HON. ROTIMI C. AMAECHI AND MANY OTHERS ON ARIK AIR FLIGHT ENROUTE PH-LOS.

“No place for argument! We left Port Harcourt at about 22:00, experienced some turbulence while descending into Lagos, the pilot said there was storm passing through WA this period, and that it was a rare occurrence. At about 23:30, he made the first attempt to land, I sat by the window so I could see a bit more, the plane was close to touching the ground, when a sudden wind came from the side and took over the plane, pilot aborted the landing, with the plane shaking from side to side due to the wind force, and the engines crying from very high RPM, he made his way back up. People shouted, cried, prayed, and there I was forming cool guy.

“My colleague siting behind said “Ibimina, that was a close call” Mr cool guy was there quite saying we will land soon, soon turned into over 2 hours of the pilot struggling to control the plane, people passing out, prayers turning into receive my soul…
”But just before the failed first attempt of five attempts, the Lord asked me to pray because it will be worse, I felt it was my many documentaries on “moments before disaster” getting the better of me. For more than two hours, we died many deaths, I thought about my wife and my son, as tears dripped down my face (I just started crying again).

“A thought came to me to say my final prayers, the pilot was finding it difficult to steady the plane for over an hour, then I asked myself why did He ask me to pray, if I will still die, so I refused to pray any prayer of “receive my soul” I began to shout Tamunodein!!!! (the peace of God) which happens to be my son’s name, I said the storms obeyed You, they will obey you again today, I refuse to die like this!
“I speak your peace and declare that You provide a window for this plane to land, by the sixth attempt HE gave us a window and we landed at about 01:02am today. The air hostess at some point started shouting, “people, call upon God, we will survive, raise your praises God is able to do it”.

“I can’t write all that happened, but when we got off the plane, someone from the control room met us and said we went off the radar more than three times. My colleague went to the cockpit to thank the pilot, and he told him, he had flown over 50 planes and has never seen this before.

“They gathered today to end us, but the Lord sent HIS angels, and Rebuked them.

RE: OGUN2019: DAPO ABIODUN DISAGREES WITH BURUJI KASHAMU OVER ALLEGED N3BILLION BRIBE.

Our attention has been drawn to another phantom story, alleging that there is an ongoing rift between Prince Dapo Abiodun and Senator Buruji Kashamu over a refund of 3 billion naira allegedly given to Senator Kashamu by Prince Dapo in order to influence the outcome of a Supreme Court case, instituted against the gubernatorial candidature of Hon Ladi Adebutu.

This is another height of falsehood being spear headed by desperate politicians just to play politics of hatred and sow a seed of discord between Prince Dapo Abiodun, Hon Ladi Adebutu and Senator Kashamu. There is no iota of truth in the write-up and it should be dismissed by the public as another cock and bull story.

At no point did Prince Dapo Abiodun have any personal encounter with Senator Kashamu for any purpose relating to the lies embedded in this fabricated story, which primary intention is to mislead and deceive the good people of Ogun State.

It is unimaginable, politically inconceivable and illogical for someone to allude that Prince Dapo will engage in such act with Senator Kashamu whom he hasn't seen nor met in many weeks let alone have any form of heated argument with him in his private residence!!

The proponents of this fiction have nothing tangible to achieve than to defame Prince Dapo Abiodun's reputation and pitch him against Hon Ladi Adebutu, thereby planting a well rooted hatred, acrimony and crisis between them. At no point did Prince Abiodun commission Senator Kashamu or anyone for such purpose .

We hereby call on the general public to treat the referenced write-up as nothing but a blatant bundle of lies, figment of the writers and his sponsors imagination and utter nonsense.

For our democracy to flourish, discussions that centers around politics should be based on empirical facts and not this type of unhealthy propaganda and outright defamation of character, that is highly reprehensible.

As a peace loving personality, Prince Dapo Abiodun is not at loggerheads with any politician within and outside the state. He is not known to be playing politics of desperation and such should not be ascribed to him under any guise.

A fellow of Nigeria Institute of Town Planning and Housing Expert has said that it is permitted to build a house in Lagos state without planning or development permit, that all the builder has to do is to regularise with the state once erected
The witness who was being cross-examined by the prosecution,Mr Jonathan Ogunsanya, Director in the state Ministry of Justice in the state said ‘the provision for regularization makes it possible for you to embark on your property development and regularise your paoers with the Ministry’.
The witness, who was subpoena by the court f free 4 dated October 4, 2018 said the Lagos state government made a publication recently asking those who did not have planning permit before erecting their structures to com the fffand reize their papers.
Mr Adedire who is a consultant to Lagos State government on Town planning matters further supported his position with an advertisement of Lagos State government in March this year on: ‘Enforcement of planning laws and regulations in government schemes and other areas in Lagos state’ added that such regulations provision had been practice for years even before he began to practise.
But the prosecution objected to the tendering of the certified true copy of the publication on the ground that the publication was after the collapse of Synagogue church’s guest house was not upheld.

Defense counsels, Prince Lateef Fagbemi SAN, Chief Akpofure SAN, Mrs Titii Okanlawon SAN, and Mr Olalekan Ojo SAN all agued for the relevance of the publication as a tenderable exhibit.
Mr. Adebisi testified before Justice Lateef Lawal-Akapo as a defence witness in the trial of the Registered Trustees of SCOAN and four others.
The church – with Adebisi’s testimony and cross examination had concluded with its second defense witness to a one-count charge of building without approval brought against it by the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP), following the dismissal of its no-case submission on March 8, 2016.
The other defendants are the two engineers who built the building: Messrs Oladele Ogundeji and Akinbela Fatiregun, and their companies, Hardrock Construction and Engineering Company and Jandy Trust Limited.
Aside SCOAN’s one-count charge, the other defendants are facing 110 counts of involuntary manslaughter.
Led in examination-in-chief by SCOAN Trustees counsel, Prince Lateef Fagbemi SAN, said planning permit is a process whereby a proponent who seek to develop a land brings developmental proposal to the planning office adding ‘the essence of obtaining planning it development permit is to ensure legitimate erection of buildings in accordance to government regulation and to generate revenues for the state among others.
He listed those documents required before permit can be issued to include a survey plan duly signed and registered by a license surveyor; a tax clearance certificate; various architectural drawings among others.
The witness who told the court that he is an external examiner at the Lagos State Polytechnic continued that after acquiring these documents the proponent take these to the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA) to face screening exercise.
After the screening exercise, the proponent proceed to make assessment fee which does not have a time frame but, stated that approval will not be granted without payment.
When asked the procedure for enforcing compliance, he said there are series of enforcement notices to be served if the proponent failed to comply as the authority will issue a stop work order followed by a quit notice and then demolition notice.
The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) building at Ikotun Egbe, had collapsed on September 12, 2014 killing 116 people.

Meanwhile Justice Lawal-Akapo has adjourned further proceedings till December 6 and 7, 2018 for continuation of trial.

The political scene of Nigeria in recent times has featured a lot of attacks from several places, there has been so many scandals, so many court cases, so many battles in most states after the party primaries that were held.

One of the state that is still battling to recover from the results of the primaries is Ogun state, governed by Senator Ibikunle Amosun.

The party primaries for the governorship candidates of the All Progressive Congress came up and at the end of the day, an aspirant, Dapo Abiodun emerged the winner of the primaries as against Governor Amosun’s Candidate, Mr Akinlade popularly called Tripple A.

Although, Governor Amosun was clearly trying to impose his candidate on the people of Ogun state through a clearly illegal primary election and is still trying every possible means to do so, but that is a story for another day.

Now, Dapo Abiodun emerged as the governorship candidate shockingly, not because of Governor Amosun’s rejection of him but because of the ways and means with which he emerged.

Dapo Abiodun has been off the scene of politics for sometime when the likes of Bimbo Ashiru, Jimi Lawal, Remmy Hassan, Otunba Rotimi Paseda, etc have been rooting for support of people to vote for them as their governor. It has been over a year since they have been doing it and most especially in the APC, I reliably gathered that Jimi Lawal has been working for the past 18 months, visiting local governments, doing consultations and so on but Dapo Abiodun, who just showed interest in July 2018, barely three months to the primary elections claimed to have won. However, this isn’t as if he is loved or he is wanted, infact, he was described by a lot of people as arrogant, cunny, and devilish, this simply shows how crooked his ways are. Many aggrieved party members described him as wicked having chased and harassed many of them to retrieve vehicles after he his last failed bid to be a Senator.

In the holy books, it was said that ‘ The Devil cometh not but to steal, Kill, and Destroy’, a thief comes in the night, when everything has been settled, when the goodies have been well arranged, when the truth is prevailing, the devil comes suddenly like a storm and steal whatever has been prepared, kill whoever is blocking his way, destroy whatever he feels he can’t do away with.

Similarly, Dapo Abiodun came at a time when people already had their candidate in mind and embarked on a very desperate journey to win Ogun state by all means.

By stealing, Dapo Abiodun stole the people’s mandate in Ogun state suddenly, according to sources, a night before the primaries, Dapo Abiodun camped the National Working Committee (NWC) who were 8 in number, lodged them in a hotel, fed them and made them sign a report of an election that didn’t take place though only 5 orn6 of them signed. In fact, the election wasn’t monitored by INEC, materials for voting weren’t available in most places, it looked like there were no primaries in Ogun state, yet, that kind of result was still approved by the party leadership. Were they also compromised?

By Killing, Dapo Abiodun, through his ways ‘killed’ the votes of the good people of Ogun state, in the few places that election took place, the candidate people voted for wasn’t Dapo Abiodun because a research has been carried out after the primaries and it was discovered that Dapo Abiodun wasn’t voted for at all. Dapo Abiodun got the support of left over Yayi members, but they were too few to make an impact.

By Destroying, it was also revealed that so many people were beaten on the day of election by thugs in Ogun state reason being that their choice of candidate negates that of Dapo Abiodun who brought police and military personnel from outside the State.

By this, the primary elections in Ogun state should rightly be nullified and another one should be conducted or a consensus candidate be agreed upon.

APC Ogun governorship Aspirant, Jimi Lawal Petitions IGP Over Primaries Result

The frontline aspirant of the All Progressive Congress,APC in Ogun State, Jimi Adebisi Lawal has petitioned the inspector general of police, Malam Ibrahim Kpotun Idris over the electoral offences committed by Prince Dapo Abiodun in collaboration with 7 members of National Working Committee assigned to conduct gubernatorial primary in Ogun State.

Dear Sir,
ELECTORAL OFFENCES PERPETRATED BY PRINCE DAPO ABIODUN, MEMBERS OF THE ELECTORAL COMMITTEE FOR THE 2019 GUBERNATORIAL PRIMARY IN OGUN STATE AND THEIR COLLABORATORS:
DEMAND FOR DISCREET INVESTIGATION AND PROSECUTION
1.0 INTRODUCTION:
1.1 My name is Jimi Adebisi Lawal and I am one of the six (6) gubernatorial aspirants certified fit by the All Progressive Congress (APC) to contest the gubernatorial primaries that was scheduled to hold in all the 236 Local Government Wards in Ogun State on 3rd October, 2018.
1.2 On Friday 5th October 2018, I submitted a letter of protest dated 3rd October, 2018 against the return of Prince Dapo Abiodun as the Candidate of APC to Governor Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of our great party and I expect the National Working Committee to empanel an Appeal Committee to consider the submissions and nullify the false results, same having been fabricated by some of the Committee members to favour the candidate returned.

2.0. MATRIX OF FACTS:

2.1 The National Working Committee of APC set up an Eight ( man committee led by Muhammad Indabawa as Chairman and Senator Gbenga Aluko as Secretary to conduct the above primary election. The operational rules and/or guidelines of the primary election in all the 236 Local Government Wards in Ogun State, were tabled by the committee for discussions with the aspirants in a couple of meetings between October 1st and 2nd. Stakeholders agreed to adhere to the direct primary and secret ballots system of voting prescribed by the National Working Committee. It was also agreed that the agents and/or representatives of the aspirants would be given full and unhindered rights to monitor the distribution of election materials and conduct the actual elections in all the Wards. Logistics plans were also agreed at the meeting because of the vastness of the size of the state. The meeting of 2nd October, 2018 came to an end with the resolution that each aspirant would submit a list of Ward electoral officer, Agents, Local Government and State Returning Officers (the said list to contain names, Wards, LGAs and phone number of nominees) not later than 8:00am the following morning to ensure that the primary election is conducted on 3rd October, 2018 unfailingly. A member of the Committee – Ms Esheza Oshogwe subsequently forwarded an allocation list of five returning officers for each Local Government (from the list submitted by the aspirants) as per attached, marked Annex I.
2.3. In order to assist with logistics, it was also resolved that the Committee would not use vehicles or any other resources from the State Government as a result of which an appeal was made by Sen. Aluko for any of the aspirants who could make a vehicle or two available. I volunteered to make as many vans as were needed available and also assisted in mapping out the routes that would ensure effective and timely delivery of the materials to the 20 Local Government offices of INEC. The vehicles were required to be delivered to the Committee by 8:00pm that evening so the delivery could commence as early as 6:00am the next day, upon arrival of police and other necessary security escorts.
2.4 As agreed, five vans were delivered that evening only for me to learn from one of the drivers at about 10:00am the following day that none of them had left Abeokuta. I promptly called Sen. Gbenga Aluko to enquire about the reason for the delay as we had been mobilizing the voters who had started arriving since 7:00am that morning. Sen. Aluko expressed frustration on account of Governor Amosun having directed the State Commissioner of Police not to make requisite police officers available for the exercise. He however assured me that the Committee Chairman was working with the National Chairman and the Inspector General to secure police officers from another State.
2.5 I called Sen. Aluko again at about 1:00pm, only to be informed that alternative arrangements had been made and that the vans could not be used because they were marked and that thugs might follow them. I immediately pointed out that the materials should not have been dispatched without armed police escort, just as they should have been accompanied by some of the aspirants’ representatives as agreed the previous night. He assured me that it was an oversight and that our returning officers and agents should go to INEC’s offices in the various Local Government Areas to receive the materials and ensure that the elections were held as required. We acted promptly by ensuring that all our Local Government returning officers were present in their respective INEC offices by about 1:30pm.

2.6 Given that Abeokuta North and South were only a few minutes away from the location of the materials, I called Senator Gbenga Aluko again at 2:00pm when none of the INEC offices throughout the State had received any of the materials. He again assured me that some of the materials had been delivered and I asked him to be specific; to which he mentioned Abeokuta North and Ado-Odo/Ota amongst others. I again double-checked with our Returning Officers in those locations and called Sen. Aluko back to make it clear that the materials had not been received. I called him yet again at 3:00pm, but he did not respond to my calls; at which point it became clear to me that after 2:00 hours of departure, which was more than sufficient time for 75-80% of the Local Government Area headquarters to have been reached from Abeokuta, that the materials must have been diverted since none had been received.

2.7 Since Sen. Aluko was no longer answering my calls, I sent him a message at 3:03pm as follows “My Brother Distinguished, I must put it on record after our telephone conversation a short while ago that I did not receive any message from you since yesterday and none of our local government returning officers had seen any of the materials in all the INEC’s offices so far! Please investigate and revert ASAP. With best wishes always. JAL” to which he responded “Noted. Will do” at 5:11pm. I then personally visited Ijebu-Ode INEC office being my Local Government and was categorically informed that no such materials had been received.
2.8 It is worth mentioning that a critical requirement for the primary election is not only for the materials to arrive safely in the Local Government Areas ahead of distribution to the Wards but for the process to also be monitored by INEC with a view to ensuring it is free, fair and credible. It is submitted that this requirement is indispensable for the outcome of any election of this nature to be upheld as credible. I therefore addressed a letter, on the spot to the Executive Officer in INEC’s office; who responded by confirming that the materials were not received and that no election was monitored by INEC in any and all of the 11 Wards in Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area. Copies of my letter and his response are attached to the enclosed Petition and marked Annex 2A & 2B respectively.
2.9 I then directed that our Returning Officers who were still waiting in their respective INEC offices to do the same. A couple of the responses from Ado-Odo/Ota and Ogun Waterside are attached to the enclosed Petition and marked Annex 3A and 3B and respectively.
2.10 Apart from not directly witnessing any primary election in my Local Government, all my agents and returning officers also confirmed to me that elections did not hold in their Wards and Local Government. Alas, the members of the committee colluded with Prince ‘Dapo Abiodun by diverting the electoral materials to unknown locations and forging results of elections that never. Furthermore, it came as a rude shock that in the circumstance, the Committee’s Chairman announced the so-called results of the non-existent direct primary election. More so that none of the Committee Members left Abeokuta to visit any of the Local Government Areas and none of the Returning Officers for all the 20 Local Government Areas attested to any collated results whatsoever. The electoral officers at the ward level also did not participate in any declaration of results. To this effect, all our 20 Local Government Returning Officers me to be false Or which is at variance with the signed certificate of return commits an offence and is liable on conviction to 36 months imprisonment.
Without doubt, the members of electoral committee knew that the results declared were false and must be prosecuted for subverting the will of the people by declaring bogus results for an election that did not hold.
3.0. ELECTORAL OFFENCES:
3.1 IGP Sir, I wish to submit with respect that the above acts of subversion of the will of the people implicate electoral offences under the Electoral Act 2010 (As Amended). From the forgoing matrix of facts, I wish to submit that the results declared by the Electoral Committee was false to all intents and purposes. Section 123 (4) of the Electoral Act clearly criminilises this act as follows:
123(4) Any person who announces or publishes an election result knowing same to be false Or which is at variance with the signed certificate of return commits an offence and is liable on conviction to 36 months imprisonment.
Without doubt, the members of electoral committee knew that the results declared were false and must be prosecuted for subverting our electoral democracy by declaring a result of an election that did not hold.
3.2 In the same vein, I also wish to submit that the beneficiary of the crime – Prince Dapo Abiodun and other conspirators should be investigated for conspiracies with the electoral committee members and prosecuted accordingly. Section 124 (5) and (6) empower the court to impose the same quantum of punishment on co-conspirators as follows:
124(5) Any person who conspires, aids or abets any other person to commit any of the offences under this part of this Act shall be guilty of the same offence and punishment thereto.
(6) For the purposes of this Act, a candidate shall be deemed to have committed an offence if it was committed with his knowledge and consent or the knowledge and consent of a person who is acting under the general or special authority of the candidate with reference to the election.
3.3 Finally, by departing fully from the agreed operational guidelines and logistics plans put in place by the aspirants at meetings held for that purpose, diverting electoral materials to destinations unknown to stakeholders, I submit that the electoral committee members, Prince Dapo Abiodun and their co-conspirators committed a crime under Section 128 of the Electoral Act which provides as follows:
‘’Any person who at an election acts or incites others to act in a disorderly manner commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a maximum fine ofN500,000. oo
3.4 Finally, by departing fully from the agreed operational guidelines and logistics plans put in place by the aspirants at meetings held for that purpose, diverting electoral materials to destinations unknown to stakeholders, I submit that some of the electoral committee members, Prince Dapo Abiodun and their co-conspirators committed a crime under Section 128 of the Electoral Act which provides as follows:
‘’Any person who at an election acts or incites others to act in a disorderly manner commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a maximum fine ofN500,000 or imprisonment for a term of 12 months or both.’’
4.0 CONCLUSION:
4.1 Although we have an iron cast civil case for the nullification of the election, I wish to urge the Inspector General of Police to work with the Honourable Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice to direct a discreet investigation and prosecution of the electoral offences committed as explained above. Your decision to act in this regard will send the right signal that we are indeed ready to accommodate more descent people in politics and democratic governance. It is submitted that the diligent prosecution of cases of this nature would vividly demonstrate that President Buhari’s Administration is serious in combating corruption and instituting good governance as an integral part of the Change Agenda. According to the President of the organisation, Mrs Basirat Giwa, made it known that Rotarians set out three days annually to offer free health services in every region. She revealed that Rotary Club Of Gbagada has picked Gbagada General Hospital In the last 6 years as a spot to offer free medical services in the environs.

Apart from the normal medical services, the president who is an eye surgeon set out one day out of the three days to do a free eye screening for everyone who has an issues with their sight. While speaking on the responses they have gotten from the free medical services, she revealed that it has been totally overwhelming because a lot of people have benefited from it. He said he was happy when he got there due to the several works they are doing because he has gone through a lot because of his eyes, he was transferred by a government hospital to a private hospital and still didn’t get results. He was operated in a general hospital and the ailment still relapsed but getting to the rotary club of Gbagada, even though he hasn’t been treated, he believes he will be fine.

Visionscape suspends operations in Lagos State following threats to employees’ lives




Sadly, the Akinwunmi Ambode led Lagos state government suffered another setback as Visionscape suspended its operations in Lagos State following a series of grave threats to the lives of its employees and destruction of its operational vehicles and equipment .
Sahara weekly’s check revealed that the chairman of the Board of investors of Vision Scape, Simon Reading has served them a letter to that effect.
In a statement signed by Simon Reading in our custody, he said, ” at the recently concluded Governance Committee meeting, we passed a unanimous resolution to formally notify you of our concerns in response to the volatility in Lagos. At the time, we were given assurances that the accommodations made to the ‘PSPS’ by the franchise team would be sufficient to appease those who felt that Visionscape had taken away their jobs’.
The statement also states that, ‘with these priorities in place, we had great confidence that we would continue operations in Lagos State in a safe and uninterrupted manner.
However, security reports brought to our attention, contain details of a surge in violent attacks on the trucks/equipment and, in some cases the operators. Of utmost concern, are the recent developments surrounding the turbulent political environment wherein it was reported that the opposition in the upcoming gubernatorial race used subversive language about the residential collections contract and called it “a misadventure”.
“We, therefore, request that the Executive team take appropriate measures to mitigate the risks to the safety of our personnel and assets. We wish to hear from you as a matter of urgency, with a detailed plan to secure our investments in Nigeria and minimise attrition of the Group’s growth plan. We are committed to maintaining high levels of security and assuring the safety of the 1000+ Visionscape team members in-country.

Eiish! What were you thinking? No O, The Executive Governor of Lagos State isn’t dying o, but he is only dying politically, on a lighter note though.

Now to the business of the day:

No doubt, the Lagos state Governorship crisis which kicked-off few months ago has gone wide in the nation and probably out of the country. The social media hasn’t been resting and it’s already looking like a national issue.

In fact, at every corner, even in buses, it is just Ambode all over. Although it is for the wrong reasons, or maybe right reasons, anyhow sha, Na una sabi!

The reason behind all these Ambode’s gist is because the APC National Leader and the leadership of the APC especially in Lagos declared that they don’t want Akinwummi Ambode to be their flag bearer in Lagos for the 2019 elections because he has done a lot of wrongs which he isn’t willing to correct. They said he performed well as a Governor but he deviated from the plans which they gave him, better put, the Lagos state blue print.

No one would have believed Ambode recently called ‘AMBO-GONE’ will not be the flag bearer of the APC in Lagos until barely a month ago..May God not let us make mistakes o (Say Amen).

Everything was going fine until we heard it like a bomb. It was like a joke, then suddenly became a reality.

The Governor who was shocked too started running helter-skelter to make sure he right his wrongs, calling people to intervene, including the President, Muhammadu Buhari, but it all turned on deaf ears of the APC leadership and having seen this, the Governor put up his courage, and said to himself ,‘If I die, I die, I wee not gree for them’ (I wasn’t there o).
He called a WORLD PRESS CONFERENCE and poured out a lot , spoke against the man of the moment, the one whom the gods of APC have chosen, BabaJide Sanwo-Olu . He said he was detained for fraudulent activities in the United States, that he is mentally unstable, and unfit to govern the state, etc.

This shocked a lot of people because as a sitting governor and one who is in the same party with the Chosen One, it isn’t right to have said this publicly, and even in the front of the journalists of the whole world. But our Governor didn’t feel any remorse. The APC chairman in Lagos even complained and said he hasn’t picked his calls in the last 24 hours.

After the whole drama, the Primaries happened yesterday. Mehn! Babajide Sanwo-Olu spanked Governor Ambode o, with a landslide victory. Though the results was almost cancelled by the National Working Committee but was later upheld. I even heard somewhere that the NWC who were around on Sunday were bribed by the Governor and this made them cancel the result earlier.

Weeks before the primaries, Governor Ambode knew he won’t win the primaries and wanted to do everything within his power to win. when he saw it wasn’t working, he wanted to spoil the image of the chosen candidate which didn’t make any impact as well.

Governor Akinwummi Ambode can be likened to a healthy man who was told the day of his death by doctors but didn’t believe because he was healthy and suddenly, it dawned on him that he had a disease which will cost him his life. For that kind of man, knowing fully well that he won’t make it, will do everything possible to make sure he goes down with anyone who contributed to his illness.

The frontline information communication technology institution among the four others in Ogun State, Gateway ICT Polytechnic situated in Eastern part of the state has been outstanding in academics and products into the labour market.

The guild of investigative journalist in Nigeria GIJN lead by the president Wale Abideen and Secretary General with four other members paid a courtesy visitation to the institution uninvited to take records of the brain behind the success of the institution in the usual ways of the association to all walks of life.

The association executives was received by the rector of the institution, Dr Oyeyinka Isiah, a computer science major and his assisted staffer who took the entourage round the campus amidst question and answering session.



Dr Oyeyinka Isiah worked at Yaba College of Technology as a lecturer, a PHD holder in computer science, he is a mathematician.

He was a director at Yaba College of Technology before he was appointed as the rector of Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Saapade Ogun State. An astute lecturer and a major in computer studies, a member of Computer Professional of Nigeria CPN , Computer Society of Nigeria CSN, Nigeria Society of Nigeria NSE among others. He has lectured in so many institutions in Nigeria like Lagos State Polytechnic based on his field.
As a computer programmer he has trained numbers of students to be a programmer and captain of industries.

In the course of discussion, he made some salient points known and revealed how he has been able to transform the institution.

What has been the brain behind the success of the institution since your inception as the rector of the polytechnic?

We are running exceptional program associated with ICT which is very rare among other institutions, by setting International institution as our yardstick , using this model has made us to be outstanding among others which we believe our students will be able to compete with the student abroad and survive in any academic environment. We are also putting in place measures to make our school to meet up with international standard in terms of our structures and facilities towards educational excellence.

We are trying our best because a good environment determined the type of product you will introduce. We are trying to developed the facilities to meet up with the international standard, we want to meet up with modern world and that is why we introduce so many courses like welding and fabrication, mobile engineering both software and hardware with well equipped laboratory for practicals.

According to Dr Oyeyinka:

"I don't want to produce computer students that can not run programme, I don't want to produced engineer that can not work on computer, I don't want to produce electrical students that won't know anything on electronics, so God is helping us in our own ways." he added.

What are the programs you offer in this institution?

Last week we just introduced about 11 more programs again in the polytechnic, so we have all our program accredited and reaccredited by the NBTE , we have qualified lecturers who have been working with me as a team and I am grateful no negative records has been reported on them.

What was the population of ICT Polytechnic compared to now?

I met 900 students and now it is 5000 students, although it has not been an easy task but I give glory to God almighty and my academic staff to working tirelessly in promoting the image of the institution.

How many programs is available in the institution both at ND and HND level?

We have about 23 programs which i met only 9 when i came on board but we have increased it to the never I gave you which by the grace of God is still going to increase

While you were young, did you have it in mind to go into computer engineering or take it up as a career?

While I was young i desired to be an engineer because I was very good at assembling and dissembling electronic to the level of repairing it myself , which develops in me day by day, when i got admission I observed I performed better in mathematics than other subjects which makes me have zeal of being a mathematician.

"Without any exaggeration, Mathematician saves the world but in Nigeria if you are a mathematician it will be very hard for people acknowledge you,
So I went for computer science to join the idea together, But God have the final says.

We are training our students to be self reliant and be free from economic recession.

In What Ways Are You Gathering Money to support the state government in running the institution?

The government are trying their best in terms or subvention to assist us in running the institution, in short he has been a loving father who cares for his children. He disburses subvention every month, he always advise us to think out of the box, We can't sit down and want government to give us money every time without putting our own quota of contribution.


What are the challenges since your inception?

No matter how much the government is giving out it can not be enough, so financial problem is number 1, because we need a lot a resources to build a standard school. The government has really tried so far because our money is regular monthly which has contributed a lot to our success, community challenges and students challenges, the first challenge i met on ground was not enough students and the school was yet to be known when we came but with the strategies put to place, we can record a lots of success today.

Is there any source of income apartments from Tuition?

There are many attempts to have funds from the federal government like TETFUND and others which we are still pushing to FG,
Nigeria Communication Commission, NCC gave us about 100 laptops years back and today it is 300 which we are always grateful for the intervention. We have Pure water, Block Industry factory on campus, Center for Entrepreneurship is coming out with big source of money program, Agricultural development to start production of farm products, we want to train people, we have a mini campus at Ayepe to increase our internal Generated Revenue IGR to maintain the institution.

What is the admission requirements for your new intakes?
You can only get admitted into this school through JAMB expect in the case of HND that have passed through that in ND before, Our tuition is very affordable for parents. No collections of additional charges from students is allowed

What is the state of student union and associations within campus?

The student union government SUG was suspended very long ago after some suspicious activities. After so many inquires, we discovered the students are naive and we taught it expedient to suspend the union for the main time.
