Politics / Re: Stella Oduah's CV Released By Senate by Oshosam(m): 11:56am On Jan 09, 2014
You believe the Senate, the same Senate that made NLC/TUC leaders smiled to the bank after most Nigerians put their hopes in the latter for a reversal in the fuel pump price from N97 to N65. The same Senate that has not been able to make GEJ sit tight because of their compromise. They also tried same with ASUU but Faggae refused anyway. It may interest you to know that Stella Oduah's wikipedia profile was still edited this morning and will continue to be edited till she is sacked just for GEJ to come for a second term. It may interest you to know that she is one of the petroleum marketers that are importing fuel for us to pay N97 for a litre of fuel. Nigeria, We Hail Thee!

Oshosam: Sir, let us be realistic and not over-flog this issue of fuel subsidy removal. Nigeria has the money to build thirty refineries in the six geopolitical zones. I believe there is more corruption under your administration than ever before for you to have seen any good thing in removing the fuel subsidy. Based on an interview with the president of the NBA, money spent on subsidy by the Federal Government has skyrocketed from about N300b to N1.3tr in less than a year with no significant increase in the standard of living of Nigerians. I have also realised that there is really no plan or blueprint on how our nation will build a total man from the fuel subsidy removal because there will automatically be inflation, devaluation of the naira and lack of accountability in the short and long runs. I pray the eyes of your understanding be opened on time to avert a chaotic new year because 12 is a number of nations. The cheapest price a Nigerian can get kerosene is N150 for a litre and when we increase the price of fuel per litre, we will be forced to use firewood because I believe our commonwealth is still going to some private purses which never want to stop draining our resources. Numerous thoughts are just flowing through my mind about the N1.55b that will be spent on the Third Mainland Bridge when we have been budgeting monies for its maintenance since its construction. The Eko bridge is also a Federal Government Bridge that has not been given adequate maintenance. All I see is Lagos State maintaining Federal Government roads at the expense of its own roads. We don't have access to potable water when we have Minister of Water Resources and we all know that over 80% percent of diseases in Africa are water-borne one way or the other. Our Federal Civil Service has been clogged up with redundant adults while those that have retired in the Nigerian Armed Forces have not been fully and adequately paid their pensions and gratuities despite their patriotism to our dear nation. A minister will harass the head of the agency he/she is meant to cooperate with for national development. How can we ensure constant power when we have refused to build more power stations. Would privatising PHCN not become a mortgaging of our national heritage just as NITEL was? The facilities of NITEL which are being budgeted for every year are still in a state of comatose -- the NITEL training school at Cappa-Oshodi, Lagos, the NITEL offices at Iponri-Surulere and Shomolu. Please, let us for once think of the future of our unborn generation before we take some steps in governance. Till now, some politicians still wire our government funds abroad despite the EFCC in place. The CBN cannot deny the fact that it does not know how much leave the shores of our nation on a daily basis through the gluttonous leaders, both past and present. The proverbial sword presented to you at the National Church, Abuja should be used to judge Nigerians wisely even in the face of opposition and hatred. God bless Nigeria!

The call went on for about seven minutes before I got a CCA to respond to me. And when the guy came on board, he did not introduce himself. Well, he told me to take it to Opebi/Head Office for resolution of the issue. He later told me to hang up the phone and I had to refuse because I was so disappointed at the way he responded. I read all my serial number to him only to hear his supposed "verdict." I told him that I work at Ilupeju and he still insisted that I went to their Opebi/Head Office. Isn't that ridiculous?

I over-scratched the N200 Glo card and I was unable to load the credit. The customer care agent I spoke with online said there were procedures they follow. I know that the serial number generates the PIN automatically (I stand to be corrected). I am not so surprised because we are in Nigeria and customer service is nothing to these GSM service providers. It is not that N200 is so huge an amount that I cannot forgo but for a company giving me the assurance that it cares and then acting funny is a big issue. It's not funny.
Phones / Share Your Customer Care Challenges With Nigerian GSM Operators Here by Oshosam(m): 4:48pm On Nov 20, 2013
I over-scratched a N200 card and I was unable to load the credit. I sent a direct message to them via https://twitter.com and I was told to call their customer service line, 121. However I was embarrassed yesterday when I called 121 at 10:54 hours and the officer on duty said I had to visit their Opebi/Head office just to resolve a N200 card issue. Having explained to him that my work schedule is so tight and I work at Ilupeju, he cared less about that and insisted that I visit the office not minding the fact that I told him that I would put it up on a forum like this. This is not the first time I experienced this because the quality of the Glo card is very low, and my friends and colleagues even confirmed this. I even provided the serial number on phone hoping he would resolve the issue. I know that the serial number generates the PIN automatically. The last time I went to their Gloworld office at Fadeyi for the same issue, I spent nothing less than an hour because their officials did not respond to the next person on the queue until after they have gossiped about their other colleagues. I am not so surprised because we are in Nigeria and customer service is nothing to these GSM service providers. It is not that N200 is so huge an amount that I cannot forgo but for a company giving me the assurance that it cares and then acting funny is a big issue. It's excruciating. I have chatted with their online agent today again just to make sure the issue is not escalated on a forum like this but the customer care agent that came online seemed helpless as she asked me to go ahead. Meanwhile, it's high time we started taking our destinies in our own hands.
