Sir, let us be realistic and not over-flog this issue of fuel subsidy removal. Nigeria has the money to build thirty refineries in the six geopolitical zones. I believe there is more corruption under your administration than ever before for you to have seen any good thing in removing the fuel subsidy. Based on an interview with the president of the NBA, money spent on subsidy by the Federal Government has skyrocketed from about N300b to N1.3tr in less than a year with no significant increase in the standard of living of Nigerians. I have also realised that there is really no plan or blueprint on how our nation will build a total man from the fuel subsidy removal because there will automatically be inflation, devaluation of the naira and lack of accountability in the short and long runs. I pray the eyes of your understanding be opened on time to avert a chaotic new year because 12 is a number of nations. The cheapest price a Nigerian can get kerosene is N150 for a litre and when we increase the price of fuel per litre, we will be forced to use firewood because I believe our commonwealth is still going to some private purses which never want to stop draining our resources. Numerous thoughts are just flowing through my mind about the N1.55b that will be spent on the Third Mainland Bridge when we have been budgeting monies for its maintenance since its construction. The Eko bridge is also a Federal Government Bridge that has not been given adequate maintenance. All I see is Lagos State maintaining Federal Government roads at the expense of its own roads. We don't have access to potable water when we have Minister of Water Resources and we all know that over 80% percent of diseases in Africa are water-borne one way or the other. Our Federal Civil Service has been clogged up with redundant adults while those that have retired in the Nigerian Armed Forces have not been fully and adequately paid their pensions and gratuities despite their patriotism to our dear nation. A minister will harass the head of the agency he/she is meant to cooperate with for national development. How can we ensure constant power when we have refused to build more power stations. Would privatising PHCN not become a mortgaging of our national heritage just as NITEL was? The facilities of NITEL which are being budgeted for every year are still in a state of comatose -- the NITEL training school at Cappa-Oshodi, Lagos, the NITEL offices at Iponri-Surulere and Shomolu. Please, let us for once think of the future of our unborn generation before we take some steps in governance. Till now, some politicians still wire our government funds abroad despite the EFCC in place. The CBN cannot deny the fact that it does not know how much leave the shores of our nation on a daily basis through the gluttonous leaders, both past and present. The proverbial sword presented to you at the National Church, Abuja should be used to judge Nigerians wisely even in the face of opposition and hatred. God bless Nigeria!

The rehabilitation of the various barracks will not make the Nigerian Army compromise its patriotism to our fatherland come January next year when the Federal Government decides to compromise our commonwealth and ultimately our statehood by removing the fuel subsidy. This is an unpopular move. Let's stop it! If the Legislature compromises, and Labour backs off, the Nigerian people will rise up! Army Barracks Renovation would not stop the soldiers from being patriotic, if our leaders would listen.

It's a pity that our leaders have decided to give the foods of the sons to the dogs. How can potential looters get merit awards in this nation? Let's wake up Nigerians! Let's brace up to reject the mental poverty of our leaders. Is it when some people are saying they don't want to be called Nigerians again that we should spend N36.66bn on National Identity Card Project? Let's face it, those predictions from Howard are really eating deep on our polity. We need a new breed without greed at every level of government. We would be better for it! The fact that a son rejects his food does not mean that he is not coming back for it. Prof. Chinua Achebe: You will get what rightly belongs to you when it is right and justifiable, very soon.

This government would be the best if there can be a blueprint of rebuilding our natural heritages in all the localities of the entire states of Nigeria. The cocoa farms should be cultivated again more aggressively, the trees from the Niger Delta basin should be preserved for the sustainance of the ecosystem, the groundnut pyramid should be revitalized for major export markets globally, the Abeokuta kampala should be made with latest technologies, the ofada rice plantations in the South-West should be cultivated for cash, the oil palm plantation should be brought to life in the entire Southern region, the kolanut plantation should be sustained, the oil in the Niger Delta should be jealously guarded against bunkering and the education of our children should be given utmost priority such that every Nigerian within the schooling age (5 - 25 years) must be given monthly stipends whether they attend schools or not. Most importantly, all our public office holders should always publish how they spend our money on infrastrusture and calling back all erring public office holders from their offices if found wanting in their duties especially those of putting the interest of the Nigerian followers first.

NYSC / The Minimum Wage Should Be Implemented Now For Serving Nysc Members by Oshosam(m): 3:09pm On Jul 11, 2011
The 2011 Batch B corps members passed out on June 16, 2011 after the National Youth Service rendered to their fatherland for 365 days amidst fears, assault, and intimidation. It is victory at last for the surviving corps members who went through the rigours of rugged terrains in the nooks and crannies of the nation. The "endangered species" have had their own bit of how terrible the state of the nation has been despite the transition to Democracy and the huge expenditure on 469 individuals that make up the nation's National Assembly. This is not to say that much has not been said on what to do to really foster national development and youth empowerment
in Nigeria.

When the president announced the new minimum wage of N18,000 last year, many of us had thought that the implementation would start with the first allowance we would get while in the Lagos camp. We had that hope dashed when we collected our first NYSC allowance, which was N9,675 for those in the Lagos camp because N100 was deducted as bank charges.

Now with the Batch B corps members' exit from the NYSC programme, should we
continue to wait endlessly for the implementation of the new minimum wage for the National Youth Service Corps members? The frantic efforts of some of our members to get projects done with their subsequent hard-earned peanuts have been limited drastically due to inflation in the economy. We have to struggle to be cleared each month despite the irregular payments made into our bank accounts.

If the Federal Governement will not deny the numerous youths that went through hard times to defend the unity of the nation in the general elections, then the minimum wage should be implemented for all youth corps members alongside its implementation for all Federal Government workers.
Health / Prevention Of Chronic Diseases Made Easy: Read Through The Attachments by Oshosam(m): 2:55pm On Jul 04, 2011
Do you know that the colon, the extreme organ in the digestive system is about seven metres long, being the last resort for undigested meals in the digestive system? The colon remains a thin organ with capillaries that release the toxins from undigested food and waste products into the bloodstream when not defaecated or excreted. The crux of the matter is that you need to cleanse your system at least once a month depending on your level of food intake. The only right therapy is using natural (organic) products. I am introducing to you the world's best tested and trusted natural health products for prevention of chronic diseases like colon cancer, kidney failure, ulcers, chronic pile, diabetes, stroke, hypertension, arthritis etc which are results of poor dieting and old age. Thank God Jonathan won by popularity. It is very significant that Nigerians are not fools at all. All Federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies need reforms. Honestly, the president should have the interest of the undergraduates and jobless graduates at heart. He should not appoint ministers based on their political affiliations alone. Even if he has an owner of a power plant as a special adviser on power, he should not think of privatizing PHCN: Nigerians are wiser! He should remember the fallen heroes whose widows have been forgotten and thrown out of the barracks unjustly, the young and aged pensioners of all privatized federal public institutions, the retired gentlemen of the Nigerian Armed Forces. He should know that the privatization of NITEL, PHCN and NNPC will spell doom for the country. He should begin to think why NLNG is working and NNPC is not. He should start thinking why MTN is working and why NITEL is not. He should start thinking why Virgin Atlantic is working and Nigerian Airways did not. He should make sure that NITEL is brought back to life and that old and fresh graduates roaming the streets of Nigeria are provided good jobs in the governement establishments that seem to be non-functional esp. NITEL, PHCN and NNPC. We still have what it takes to live in affluence despite the looting of majority of our past leaders. PDP should stop compensating failures. [size=16pt]GOD BLESS NIGERIA!!!

May Nigeria witness a great and futuristic leadership in this decade. Whatever my lot, Thou hast thought me to say it is well, it is well with my soul!
