I was in a Uber many years ago in Harrisburg, PA and the driver happens to be from Ethiopia. We are not talking about two accomplished people here with track record of getting things done in the past.
The main point of my post is exactly that - Obi does not have a track record of accomplishment on the scale of Tinubu. In fact he was failed Governor. I was in Anambra when he was Governor, he was terrible.

Secondly, Tinubu is hearty and hale to be the President . The most important job of any president is not running around like an Olympian but the ability to have brilliant ideas and be able to find and appoint smart and intelligent people into important position. Tinubu has a track record of doing just that.

I voted for Biden despite some of his mistakes when he was campaigning and if I have to chose between him and Trump again in 2024, I will vote for Biden again at the age of 81. It simply boils down to the fact that he's better candidate regardless of age.

Now back to your flawed analogy - Obviously, in a surgery no surgeon will be allowed to operate if they do not have a steady hand. This is a requirement to be a surgeon. If I'm to pick one, I will always pick the more experienced surgeon because he has a history to performing the surgery needed unlike a surgeon with just 3 years experience.
I actually train Doctors and other clinicians on their IT system for a living so I know this area very well. I can tell you that most patients always prefer older Doctors because of the wealth of experience that they already have.
