NYSC › Re: Corp Members: What Is The Next Step After Your Nysc? by osifred(m): 10:03pm On Apr 05, 2012
I am a batch A 2012 corper posted to cross river buh am yet to report to ma PPA cos i was posted to a primary school in remote village.

Wen i saw ma ppa leta i couldnt believe ma eyes ' a primary skol' i mean considering ma discipline and grade. (human resource management wit a 1st class). I considered it an abuse of ma qualification. They hav refused to change mine wen infact D̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥ hav been changin for other corpers. Am considering been a ghost corper wen the worse get to the worse. (If U̶̲̥̅̊ like disagree to serve nigeria is nt by force)

Ma tinkin is dat dis nysc programme shld be a 2way tin. First contributin to community service and second equipping urself be it for the labour market or educational advancement. How den can D̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥ send a corper to a primary skol sumtin dat wit ma field of study i cannot be proud to attach to ma cv in the event dat am luking for work.

I dont want to waste ma one yr i want to add value to ma lyf while doin sumtin for the society. The primary skol cannot give M̶̲̥̅Ƹ such an opportunity.

Please anyone who is in calabar and can fix M̶̲̥̅Ƹ up to W̶̲̥̅̊hε̲̣̣̣̥я̩̥̊ε̲̣̣̣̥ i can advance ma skil while contributin to any organization should contact M̶̲̥̅Ƹ on ma email address. Wokofred4reel@yahoo.co.uk

Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Chris Oyakhilome- self-service Is Not A Sin. by osifred(m): 12:53am On Feb 21, 2012
if there is one man of God i respect for his in depth knowledge of the scripture that man is pastor Chris moreso i respect alot for his non conformity approach to things. a friend of mine outside the christ embassy faith said n i quote "pastor chris is a great teacher of the bible" which i have come to agree with him.

we learn everyday, the earth was flat dey said in the old it took men centuries afterwards to proof otherwise even wen the catholic church tried to otherwise to discredit dia claims. that be said i am not for against the subject matter. i am here to learn

in the video attached there was no where pastor chris encouraged masturbation according to him he wanted to put some fact rite, that be said he said we shld nt let dat (we masturbate) deprive us from serving God as the devil wil try to make us feel bad afterwards. for those of u that know chris u wil understands his calling which the the calling of grace, the sinner saved by grace.

i am tempted to write to him to ask him to verify his claim

Mark ma words n prove M̶̲̥̅Ƹ wrong if U̶̲̥̅̊ can. Madonna uni. Can't develop a full man, academic wise. Religious wise. Social wise n infact make U̶̲̥̅̊ a sound man.
Madonna university is a school ¶ can't recommend for ma enemy even if it is free.

NB: ¶ hav no personal vendata wit madonna uni.

W̶̲̥̅̊hε̲̣̣̣̥я̩̥̊ε̲̣̣̣̥ is †ђξ guy dat compare madonna to a mental clinic ¶ wanted to quote him. Ma broda U̶̲̥̅̊ r in †ђξ spirit †ђξ truth of †ђξ matter is dat nt until recent madonna students in elele campus stopped  mingling with mad people dat were brought for fada Edeh to cure.  D̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥  share †ђξ same restuarant. ¶ thought ¶ wil be on ma own on dis as ¶ suspect many other nairalanders wil be cool wit it. The truth is dat cos U̶̲̥̅̊ r †ђξ man in †ђξ marriage is nt a yardstick to cheat on ur wife.
Also again ¶ wouldn't want ma sister to divorce him cos ¶ don't want dis tag od divorcee on ma sister, ¶ want her to hav a hapi family n mother all ma niece n nephew for †ђξ same man. Therefore ¶ tink if it was M̶̲̥̅Ƹ ¶ wil confront my inlaw
Romance › Re: Your Mum Or Your Wife? by osifred(m): 9:08am On Nov 18, 2011
The first impulse most pple wil hav is to same deir irreplaceable mum instead of wife first all tins been equal assumin both mum n wife r good.

But dis act is mostly selfish as in dis scenerio we r thinkin mainly of ourself instead of others involved like our children who r likely to be motherless at tender age, n even our young wife dat is full if life as against our mum who has lived her life n has come to age. (Jst so U̶̲̥̅̊ knw every gud mother will insist U̶̲̥̅̊ save ur wife first)

So for M̶̲̥̅Ƹ nt dat ¶ don't love ma mum cos if U̶̲̥̅̊ tink so den U̶̲̥̅̊ must be tripping cos she is all hav got bt ¶ wil save ma wife for †ђξ sake of ma children n to further support ma point †ђξ holy book said ¶ n ma wife nt mother are one. Like sumbody noted earlier ma dad is primarily responsible for my mum likewise r my primarily responsible for ma wife.
Romance › How Would You React If Your Brother Or Sister In-law Is Cheating On Sister Or Br by osifred(op): 4:36pm On Nov 17, 2011
To upload this thread and asked this question has always been on my mind but for some strange reason I have been reluctant about it until I saw the thread by Andrew on the topic of How Would You React If You Know Your Dad Is Cheating Of your Mum?,  so I thought instead of degrading the thread by raising my own question I should upload the original one that was intended being how would you react if your brother or sister in-law is cheating on sister or brother.

I love my sisters a lot and although they are not yet married I something wonder what will be my reaction if they get married and their spouse begin to cheat on them cos I have no intention of cheating on my wife.

I am really concern cos my friends whose sisters are married seem to see nothing wrong with their brother in-law cheating on the sisters. The other day I was with this friend of mind in a hotel (pls don’t ask me what I went to a hotel to do cos am yet to be married and I went for casual drink up) when his brother in-law came out of one of the room with a girl (trust me she is not his business partner even my friend knows that, they must have gone to “knack” he told me) without any remorse he walked up to us and ask the bartender to fill our table and to my greatest surprise my friend was totally calm and happy about it.  He later laughed and talked about it as though it was normal.

This act kept me wondering. Was he trying to protect his sister’s marriage by not saying anything (there and ever) or did he consider it normal for men to cheat on their wives? This and many more I couldn’t figure out so I decided to bring the matter to nairaland.

What would you have done?
Politics › Recommend A System And Form Of Government For Nigeria by osifred(op): 3:52pm On Nov 03, 2011
Since 1960 when Nigeria gained independence it has practiced severally system and forms of government ranging from unitary to federalism, from military to democracy but in all no one seems to favour the common man. It is therefore on this background that i solicit your opinion of which form and system of government will be most beneficial to the Nigerian nation.

BTW i am of the opinion that every nation must not practice democracy as to me the military era not this democracy era were the golden years of Nigeria.

I will kick start this by recommending we practice technocracy a system of government where technocrat will rule and loose federation (the current state or geo political zone be allowed to operate independently and report to the central government) or true federalism (not just the present structure of federalism we have now but true federalism).

NB: Please vote which form of government has favoured Nigerians more between democratic rule  and military rule. I think is military rule judging by the records available to me.

Am a firm believer of dis nation. †ђξ govt made a mistake of negotiating with any terrorist group. Sumtimes ¶ wonder how difficult it is for †ђξ govt to take down dis pple, den ¶ realize dat dose behind †ђξ masterminding of dis act r top men within †ђξ govt. N jst for †ђξ record †ђξ fg is nt folding its hands. We must support †ђξ fg against dis terrorists n nt take proud in criticizin her for †ђξ sake of criticism. Let rally round wit our govt like †ђξ Americans did in 9/11 to fight against terrorism.
