Time for yourself? I don't think so.
If you said time doing what you love/ enjoy correct. That's because you will follow the professor you are working under to class, mark the assignments, tests and exams. If you got favours from other lecturers, you may be called on for petty tasks too. Meanwhile you have your own MSc to face.

I disagree because, I think there's a difference between lecturing and teaching especially when those being lectured are not in the field of education
Don't disagree but accept that you have learnt something new. A primary school teacher and a university lecturer are both in the same teaching profession and must therefore be trained and registered before they can be called professional teacher fit to be employed to teach into any level of education, appointed or promoted within the school system. Anything short of this is an offense.

I don't know how else to qualify it other than child abuse, buh its worse than that. Beating/caning/spanking is much worse than child abuse. I was a victim of this..and to be frank, it hasn't helped me in anyway. It causes only makes one stubborn, apart from the physical harm it may cause..(I ve got a nike scar on my hand to show whoeva is interested)

I believe there are a million and one ways to discipline a child other than flogging him/her like a horse...Some ways that work are; witholding privileges, rewarding them for some of the good things they do OR telling them the possible rewards that comes after every good thing they do and repeatedly telling them the consequences of the bad things they do, and by practicing what you(the parent) preach ..
Tell me my friend if for some reason unknown to you your child of 8 start urinating inside your fridge which of this strategies as listed above will you use to handle the child?

That is not true. It may come handy in applying for college of education and it is not even compulsory there bt compulsory for you to go higher in position there. Bt for university, it is not a must at all. All those lecturers in Faculty of Engineering, Science, Medicine and science based department and even arts and commercial based don't have background in educational courses or Post graduate diploma in education.
I would normally not reponse to you for be so wrong and still claim to be right. The teacher registration council of Nigeria (TRCN) Act makes it punishable offence for anybody or institutions to employ somebody as a teacher who is not a trained and registered teacher, it also stipulate as an offence anybody who teach without being trained and register in all levels of our education system. Whether that is been implemented is a topic for another day. Most of your lecturers in addition to their BSc, masters or PhD have atleast a post graduate diploma in education otherwise they won't be promoted even when employed through the back. Your lecturers won't tell you because the information doesn't concern you in anyway unless you are being groom to become a lecturer. Take this as free information from somebody in the system.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How To Get A Graduate Assistant Job by osifred(m): 10:11pm On Sep 05, 2015
Others have said it all. However let me add, if your background is not in education (you didn't graduate with a b.ed or have nce) you need to enroll for a post graduate program in education as it will really come handy in your quest to be a lecturer. Ideally you are not suppose to lecturer if you are not a trained teacher.

Martin Luther said the law can't make a man love me but if he CAN stop him from lynching me that is important to me.
Enough with this gay thing everywhere. We are all a bunch of hypocrite. Just because people sin differently than us is not a yardstick to condemn them. In the list of people clamouring against gay is the fornicator, the murderer, the abortionist, the corrupt leader, the ritualist, the slave lord and all matter of wicked and evil people.
We may not like them but let us not crucify them like we are any better than then.

Take Winnie Madikizela Mandela off the list she was Mandela's wife, at no point was she the first lady of South Africa. Infact Mandela denying Winnie of that position despite all the pains she went through because of Madiba is my gross with Mandela. For the record if I were in Mandela's shoe a woman like Winnie will still be my first lady cheating or no cheating.

I find this really hard to believe. who nominated Peter Onu for the position in the first place? I am sure that if by chance Buhari was against the emergency of Onu he won't have even made it open extend to the extend that other head of states will be aware, how on earth will another country's president be begging Buhari to support his own country's candidate when the reverse is normally the case where presidents lobby for their country's representative to be voted. In conclusion I smile lies.

Nairaland General › Re: TB Joshua Reacts To New Gay Law by osifred(m): 11:21am On Jun 28, 2015
I am anti gay. Primarily because after several study I came to the conclusion that 'gayism' rather than being natural is a bad habit imbibed over time. However, I have learnt to love them no more or less than I do for the straight folks because if I do so what difference are mine from the gentile.

Rather than crucify them I have instead learned to pray for them whether by so doing they may change. Countries and people accepting gay doesn't bother me anymore because according to scripture these things must happen in the end time and there is no gain saying we are already living in that time.

We can conquer gayism not by hatred but by love.

Peace out. Happy sunday

Let me add with example.

All year one students that were admitted say in 2014 are classmate irrespective of the fact that they are in different department. A level 100 student in law and a level 100 student in medicine are classmate. While all students in the same department or sometime different department offering same course or courses are called course mate.

You invite somebody to you house to come celebrate with you and you embarrassed him for not inviting you to his house for celebration.

I am the last person that will support dictatorship however I must state that the manner the journalist went about it was highly unprofessional. Attacking the president of a sovereign nation in such an occasional is uncalled for, therefore the nation owes mugabe an apology.

You are the slowpoke here, do you think everyone is privileged?. People like you end up becoming nothing in life. If you are too immature to understand the streets and know all fingers aint equal...then shut your jew mouth up. Nobody cares what you think.
You seem real pained like I was personally addressing you. Nobody is talking about privilege here but use of common sense. I have no apology for people who can't use their common sense unless they are mentally challenged. Abusing me won't solve your financial problem (it is my prayer that you don't have any). Talking about street, don't you think starting a business no matter how small the capital is more 'street' than raising 5 million for somebody who Will pay you just 25k

I will leave you my friend with this. Look within you are you satisfied with the life you are living?
