A friend of mine was there.
They said it was unbelievable
All the African heads of state,dignatories,Ambassadors and who's who who came for the inauguration were there.

Hopefully they learnt or are learning a thing or 2 not just eating oily Jollof rice and fried goat meat

If you want to still get married, at least you go in with your eyes wide open.  This is more about your kids, if you plan on having any, not you and/or your girlfriend.  I know a couple with 2 kids that hv SCD.  It is not fun with tem.  Monthly, they are in the hospital at least 1 week, and they are in the states so at least they have access to the best medical care.

At least you 2 summed up the courage to get tested for whatever conditions that you may have.  For that, I give you an A+.  Such couples I dare say are hard to find in Nigeria, generally speaking.

That is the probable chance.
There are some couples that end up with 2 or all 3 kids with SS by that same chance.
It is not worth it at all I say.
I've all lost a cousin and another is currently almost bed ridden here in the USA with all the wonderful healthcare one can imagine.
We are still believing for a miracle

Take it from someone who has seen children and parents suffer through this illness

It's not wort it at all.
Unless you're planning to adopt children,my dear cut off that plan of marrying this girl.

My dear it's not worth all the hassle,the pain of seeing a child/children suffer in excrutiating and crippling pain
The pain of surgeries and nights of wondering if they'll make it to the next day
The neglect of the healthy kids while you are constantly in and out of hospitals with the sick child/children
The months and months and years of nursing a sick child/children
The untimely death in most cases.

It is not wort it by any stretch of one's imagination.
