A woman has been found dead in her flat in Dorset six years after she died. The woman, named locally as Anne Leitrim, lived in Tolpuddle Gardens in the Muscliff area of Bournemouth. A bailiff, estate agent and two locksmiths broke into the ground floor flat on Tuesday and discovered the remains. Dorset Police said the body was believed to be that of a woman in her seventies but said it was not treating the death as suspicious. Neighbour John Stanley said: "It's horrifying that, after that amount of time, why hadn't anybody noticed it? "Because we thought she moved out. She owned a car - the car disappeared - so we automatically thought the lady's moved out and that was it." https://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/75856000/jpg/_75856616_b34e5924-172a-47e0-8905-e3c98c709423.jpg Courtesy: BBC Bringing some kind of social interaction, however small, into lives of aged people living alone will really makes a difference. Was reading through BBC trending articles when I stumbled upon a Celebrity-Political controversies post as a singer portray the president of Russia to promote GAY! https://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/75969000/jpg/_75969938_demialt1.jpg The article was titled "#BBCtrending: Putin's 'gay kiss' at Lovato gig" and the content goes does: Russian social media users are campaigning against the US singer Demi Lovato after her concert at New York's gay pride event on Sunday featured a controversial use of an image of Russian President Vladimir Putin. During a performance of Lovato's latest track Really Don't Care, two of her male backing dancers shared a kiss. One of them was naked except for a portrait of Vladimir Putin attached to his underwear. Shortly afterwards, hashtags about the event began trending in Russia. https://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/75974000/jpg/_75974047_lovatoputin.jpg See the controversial act in picture below: https://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/75974000/jpg/_75974047_lovatoputin.jpg Thousands tweeted #DemiHurtsRussianLovatics ("Lovatics" is how the singer's fans refer to themselves) to show their anger over the incident. #StayStrongPutin has also been used as a way of demonstrating support for the president. "I used to be neutral towards her, but now I'm totally disappointed," wrote one Russian on Twitter. "Now I feel like our country is one big family! Putin unites people!" said another. The vast majority of Russian social media reaction was strongly against the Putin "gay kiss". But many of Lovato's fans expressed support for the singer. "I'm sorry but she's just standing up for gay rights. Putin's horrible towards the gay community and it's SO wrong." wrote one fan. The singer herself took to her Twitter page on Monday to respond robustly to the deluge of negative tweets. Lovato denied accusations she'd used offensive language to describe Vladimir Putin, but added "I did have Putin struttin in a rainbow thong. Get your facts straight bitchesss." What is your take on this article? |
CCN reported few hours ago that a cargo plane crashed into a commercial building shortly after takeoff from an airport in Nairobi, Kenya, early Wednesday, the country's airport authority said. All four people on board are feared dead. The Fokker 50 plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BrgzjhMIcAElwkP.jpg Because the crash occurred early in the morning, there was no one inside the building, the airport authority said. Thanks to God for those occupants that they left home earlier to work. |
Mutuwa: Its really a bad habit, tho rampant nowadays.it really has no moral standard.seemly uncontrollable thought |
okpara ugo: I am a humble guy who has some rich friends who struggled their ways to the top without the golden spoon syndrome when they were born. Those they are meeting are not yet serious ones because most good and marriageable ladies out there even hardly accept offer for expensive shopping and clubbing etc. till they are sure of the commitment of such man. Tell your friends to check it if they are in search of real life partner then they should stop flashy life style cause everyone knows that it doesn't most times last longer neither is guarantee for steadiness..... |
I sometimes indulge in this but quickly put my mind back on the moving vehicles. Months ago a youth copper was knocked down dead by a moving car while he was carried away pressing his blackberry. When is it appropriate to give attention to phone when walking by the road side? You can also include a real life ordeal to educate others. |
Yemlizzy: Of course! Its quite compulsory but our society would turn deaf ears to issues like this. In the longrun,it would do lot of good in nuturing the young ones who seem obvilious to anything pertaining to their sexuality.good contribution...thanks.... |
The news making up the homepage and tv programmes about celebrities this days is either sudden death or marriage breakups. But, today I want every readers of this to contribute how to help save these marriages for one genuine reason to me. The reason is that our little children are watching, loving and following this celebrities. Helping them is helping our future (the little ones) from taking up such to be part of how life should be since successful and popular people show that off frequently (shake off bad habits) to them. Any ANTIDOTE? Please recommend here! |
