walcolm: when that Sony advert came up, Dora Akinyuli made Sony apologize and the advert was pulled officially by Sony. You make valid points. Only problem is that you still don't realize that this world is not a fair place. And worse still, capitalism is ruthless. We decieve ourselves waiting for people to treat us fairly. We must assert our fair share by any means necessary. Sometimes, perhaps most times, people would ride on you if they have to. The black race has to stand up on its feet or else we will remain the oppressed race for another 1000yrs. Look at the occupy movement for instance, this is a situation where people rose up against retrogressive leadership. At great cost. Lives were lost. In Nigeria the movement didn't last. Sooner than later the leaders of the movement met with the national leaders and the movement ended without achieving its goal. And this means that the people remain powerless. But compare to the Arab nature of "kill me if you like but I no go gree" attitude. I'm trying to let you guys understand how blacks are viewed by the rest of the world and how we make it Ben better for them to view us that way. |
Mben: Common Guys....it is not insulting to make merryNow this is a direct insult. The only problem is that it's true. ![]() |
africans and inferiority complex ![]() if you guys(actually we ) had a reasonable society, what could bring us into the white man's land? we have a wrecked society and yet each time we demand respect. how? the world will never respect the black man as long as the black man's country is a complete mess. even the black man can't respect his fellow black man. even poor poland and ukraine are discriminatory against black man. wretched india and pakistan, even bangladesh all disrespect the black man. we have to learn how to love and respect ourselves first.our ancestors had this inferiority complex, that's why the black man is the only person who sold his brother, millions of them, over a span of 400yrs to another man of another race. arabs wont sell arab slaves to africans. or white man sell white slaves to arabs. our countries are a mess. we run away from our land in search of better life abroad. we have graduates sweeping the streets in london. . . . . and yet, somehow we demand respect wake up and smell the coffee. the world is never gonna respect the black man until the black man stands on his feet in the world community.and anyway, i see nothing wrong with the advert. it's business. they are seeking your attention and they are getting it. if you do an identical advert, replace the people there with whites, change africa to europe, nobody will notice. but coke advert advusers know what will attract attention. thats all advert does. attention seeking. they got it. just reminded you that coke still exists. incase some countries are developing new drinks competing with coke |

klas:Exactly, the kebbi xtian is more likely to be targeted in a religious riot in Kano than a TiV Muslim. You lumped so many things in the other part of your post but I could notice that the listed iniquities cut across all geo political zones, so how will the breaking of the country solve the problems?Change will come from bottom up. We can't encourage corruption, glorify rich men with stolen wealth and expect good governance. Breaking up may help stem this steady tribal and religious riots. If boko haram have their sharia republic who would bother them with churches. They can use the Koran as their constitution and there'll be peace. But if we Nigerians have sense, we can build a great nation if we love each other. I saw a post herw in nairaland last yr where some goon said she doesn't care about the corpers killed after last election bc they are igbos. And she's not an outlier. It's the default feeling of many people. Someone had to educate her that her tribesman was also targeted. Deny this if you like but that is the kind of citizens you have in this country and the country is going nowhere ![]() |
klas:Core north includes everyone above river benue with Islam. Gowon is middle belt but he was used by the north to perpetrate the most ruinous ethnic cleansing in black Africa (until Rwanda). Today he goes about praying. . . . well, God will be the judge. With regards to the igbos, by 1967 up till recently, most people were made to believe that igbos were the enemy. Today, ijaws have seen that if they have any friends in Nigeria, it's the Igbo. The xtians in the middle belt have also realized the igbos are not the problem. Finally, I'm not really asking for allies. I'll rather this evil country repents and unites for peace and progress but I know that ain't gonna happen soon. So I'll sit on my sofa and watch it disintegrate. A house divided amongst itself shall not stand. So says the good book. D'you believe in this nightmare called Nigeria? Founded by lord lugard. Embedded with evil. Celebrated corruption. Even her pastors receive corruption money as tithes. A church builds a school that the poor can't afford. Pastors have private jets when thousands can hardly feed. Slapping people and boasting about it openly. World renowned criminals have religious titles, honorary doctorates and are respected bythe people. Ibori with all his evil can only be convicted by a British court. Universities always on strike, same for hospitals while children of the rich school abroad and the rich go to John Hopkins even for a headache. And yet the people worship these goats as heroes. Do you really see a future in such a land? D'you expect any form of good govt in such a place? Nobody talks of the dead people killed regularly in the north since the 1950s. Where is justice? The good book says we cannot live in evil and grace abounds. The corruption and evil bloodshed in Nigeria stinks to high heavens and the only ones who can't smell it are those in Nigeria. Bc of they do, they won't be askin for good govt for now, they will all rather bury their heads in shame and ask god for forgiveness. 40yrs after the civil war, yet ALL the injustice that led to the war are still existing. Even worsening. And nobody cares. And someone needs to know why I feel this way ![]() Evil does not progresss, and this evil republic is set for destruction if Nigerians don't change. Na me talk am ![]() |
greateros:If ignominous silence over the regular killing of igbos and xtians in the north, and the systematic dehumanization of same for over 40yrs is not enough for you to insult a people then I wonder where your brain is. You don't need medications bc your problem is in born wickedness. What you need is prayer and fasting. Nigeria has been living off oil from the Niger delta while subdueing the people. Killing igbos in the north and you think there'll be peace and progress? Get a head, put some brain in it. You can't have good leaders bc the people are not good. Some people blame NPN, others PDP, well, try NPC, Military regime, interim govt. we've even had reverend fathers as governors. No progress. The people are wicked. People like you who are so har hearted you don't even recognize evil. And you expect a good govt. No way. Ghana will rise, Botswana, Angola etc. Nigeria will remain in this pathetic and comatose state until te wickedness is washed away. It doesn't look like that's about to happen. Waiting for good leader! Try another political party, try parliamentary democracy, try monarchy, try communism, try anything, it won't work. |
greateros:It didn't start in 2012 you goat-head. And it won't end in 2012. We may start to turn thins around if we are serious but we are not a serious nation. Yes, Nigerians don't deserve a pod government. In this country, in 21sr century, we saw a consistent massacre of Igbo xtians in the north including Xmas day, people kept quiet. Igbos wept. Nothing happened. Yet when gas prizes rose up recently the country exploded. And everyone was concerned why the igbos didn't protest so badly like the west and north protested. What a crappy society. That's how cheaply you value life other than yours? The igbos were still bleeding. Wondering if they are still Nigerians and all the social media was interested in was that they didn't protest as vehemently as the others. Even reports showe that the gas prices were already hIgh in the east long before the subsidy removal. Nonsense. You can't build a great nation from a creepy people.every yr igbos and xtians are killed up north, nobody cares. And you expect Nigeria to rise? The blood of the innocent cries to God daily. God is not dead. Nothing good will happen to suh a nation until the people change from evil. Until then, let us peacefully produce incompetent leaders from the various zones. |
Is obasanjo the best SW could offer? They even offered him twice. Is IBB the best the north could offer? Or shagari? Or yara'dua? If all Nigeria can produce are a series of corrupt leadership then the SS has a right to produce their own. And the middle belt and south east should warm up for theirs too. Until we are capable of bringin up sound leaders who will lead and people won't care where they are from. Until then, let us rotate the ineptitude in peace or violence will spread. When all those my stubborn Igbo brothers finally learn that they are unwanted in the north, and run down south to their states, let's see who the killers up north will kill next, or if they'll come down south to kill. Those uncircumcised philistines who live by blood. |
Either nigeria(a failed state) belongs to us all or it belongs to no one. The unspoken theory that only one part of the useless country is fit to be corrupt is unacceptable. ALL presidents have been corrupt and I didn't hear Nigerians making the country ungovernable for any of them. The spike in violence in the north since the elections is not unnoticed. We didn't see people rioting when corrupt PDP rigged elections in 1999, 2003 or 2007. suddenly in 2011, corrupt PDp presents a Niger-Delta man and all hell lets loose. Let the violence explode, bc no region or religion can lay claim to a monopoly of violence. Let Nigeria disintegrate. Let the north go, let the middle belt go, let the west go, let the east go and let the south go. When we're tired we can negotiate about reunification. In this 21st century, no region should continue to intimidate others. Jonathan has been harrased time and again. Is he the first incompetent president? I'm looking forward to civil war number two. Let boko hagram keep up their evil work. Thy will soon have the sharia republic of hausaland. |
Nigeria will know no peace until all the people who took part in the killing of innocent igbos before during and after the civil war and all those who benefitted from the killing and intimidation of the igbos thereafter all come out and apologize for what they did. Until then, it will remain one drama after another. It won't matter if it's PDP or AC that rules, it won't matter if it's military or civilian regimes. The nation will keep going down and down and down and down. Corruption, violence, death death death daily. If its not religious violence, it will be ethnic violence, political violence, etc etc etc. until the blood of the innocent are placated. Ghana has risen from the dust, Uganda Kenya, Tanzania, all will rise above Nigeria soon. Then Niger republic, chad Sudan etc So it has been written, and so it is. ![]() |
may their souls rest in perfect peace. And may God grant their families the grace to bear their loss with fortitude. This is what happens when you ride a tiger. You end up in it's belly. These sons of evil convinced everybody that the igbos were the problem. Igbos were attacked and slaughtered. Today, 40yrs after the fact, with igbos largely out of the way, who's next? The ijaws have seen clearly that igbos were their best friends. After the evil empire heirs killed Ken sar wiwa and other Niger delta sons. Now the plateau citizens have seen the other side of these evil people. Truth cannot be covered forever. |

I'll be glad if she's non Igbo. Can't imagine igbos being the ones to work hard to turn around a country where they've been hated since 1966. I'm sure that after 40yrs, the ijaws and rivers people are realizing that their real enemies are not the igbos. If they like let them have 20 MENDS or SEWING MACHINES or TAILORS, they will remain in Nigeria to bear the fruits of their betrayal. Even with an ijaw president, they are still living in hell. Hahaha ![]() |
