PoliticsRe: Buhari Is Using Jonathan’s Ideas To Fight Corruption – APC Rep, Olasupo by otil1: 10:08am On May 20, 2017
This one na proper lie!

Wetin??

Jonathan used his PhD sense to introduce corruption deterrents like BVN, TSA, cashless policy, etc.

Buhari uses his NEPA bill certificate sense to do 'catch am', 'jail am'

That's why Saraki said and advocated the need to prioritize deterrence rather punishment
PoliticsRe: Who Are The Wawa In SE? by otil1: 9:40am On May 20, 2017
Exactly what I talked about. Some stupid superiority complex that has no basis.

I don't want to glorify your stupidity but this is 21st century not back in the days.

It is also needless trying to compare Enugu and Anambra or any other part of Igboland for that matter.

We are all the same. Same!

So, good bye dear 'superior' Igbo man grin

Yyeske:
You started well but ended up like someone with a complex problem, go deal with it instead of dissing on Ndi Omambala
PoliticsRe: Who Are The Wawa In SE? by otil1: 9:17am On May 20, 2017
@nonsobaba, unless you have an agenda as earlier posters have hinted, Anambra people are great Igbos, Enugu people are also great Igbos. So are Imolites Abians and Eboyians. We all (with our brothers and sistrrs across the Niger) make up that great tribe know as Ndigbo.

No point subdividing further, we are already too subdivided and alienated from our kiths in the large multi-ethnic and multi-ligual nation -Biafra land.

nonsobaba:
Anambra people have nothing in common with wawa people. Nothing at all. Besides, wawa is not a dialect. It is a people. The unfortunate people of Enugu state.
PoliticsRe: Who Are The Wawa In SE? by otil1: 9:03am On May 20, 2017
I don't see anything wrong in someone wanting to know about a phrase or a people.

There is nothing negative about Waawa.

Great people you might know like Prof Barth Nnaji, Senator Ken Nnamani, Jim Nwobodo, Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremmadu, Peace Mass (owner of largeat land transport fleet), Patience Ozokwo, actor Keneth Okonkwo (foundation of Nollywood) and even Nkem Owo, etc. are proud sons/daughters of Waawa land.

kingzizzy:
Fellow Igbos, I initially commented on this thread just to answer something I thought was an innocent question, who wawa's are? They are simply people who speak the wawa dialect of Igbo. There are the 'Ijekebes' mostly spoken around the Onitsha area. Even in Asaba, we have the 'diokpas'.

There is no language, be it Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo that is uniform. They all have dialects and sometimes, a group of people can be refered to, by the dialect they speak.

There are still many Igbos who when they are out and about, will speak normal central Igbo, but when they get home, will start speaking with their immidiate family in their native Igbo dialect. Most Igbos can still speak their native dialect, so what is the big deal?

So please me fellow Igbos, disregard this thread that was resurrected by an Afonja agent of division called Nonsobaba (he is probably the one who started it with another monika) so that his fellow Afonjas can carry on with it.

I only comment about this because more Afonjas will do this in the future
PoliticsRe: Who Are The Wawa In SE? by otil1: 8:55am On May 20, 2017
The correct spelling is Waawa.

'Waawa' is used to refer to people from Enugu State.

It came from the way the people say 'no'. It actually means no, and is unique to Enugu especially the Enugu West and East senator I'll districts.

In the days of old Anambra State, the people from old Anambra South (today's Anambra State), naturally abrasive, arrogant and so full of themselves (ref. The poster just quoted), were using it in a derogatory manner and described Enugu (Waawa) people with all sorts of expletives.

But today, Waawa people are proud of themselves and their city, Enugu, the best city in South East which actually started to make progress when Enugu State was created from Anambra and their proud and egoistic henchmen chased down south to Awka.

Today, every well-doing Anambra man has or dreams of having a home in Enugu. In fact, the big men from Anambra all live in Enugu and that's a fact!

I am Waawa. Thank you.

nonsobaba:
Wawa people are the unfortunate people of Enugu state. They are actually half-igbo, half-fulani. They are the poorest and laziest in the igbo race. Most armed robbers, beggers, street urchins, househelps and ipods that you find in igboland are actually wawa people. It was due to this stark difference between us, the real anambra people and them that we decided to end our association with them by asking the federal govt to split the old anambra state and create a seperate state for them in order that they don't defile us with their backwardness.
PoliticsRe: Frequently Asked Questions on The Released Chibok Girls by otil1: 8:44am On May 14, 2017
Ok. My simple question, which many Niger are now voicing out is:

Why are the girls especially those released earlier being shielded from relaying their experience?

Do we not think that Nigerians can learn some lessons from their experience.

Imagine the experience:

First you get kidnapped by Boko Haram, you can't go home, your parents and loves ones can't see you.

And you get rescued by Nigerian government, you can't go home, your parents and loved ones can't see you.

So, what the difference.

The same people keeping them when kidnapped are the same people keeping them now

If they are not hiding something, let them allow the girls to speak.

Try to read this with unbiased mind, think and comment. We can't be fooled forever.

...... The thing is that when these girls are released, there is a media blackout on them. No one is allowed near them to interview them....

...... During the Christmas holidays they were allowed to visit Chibok but were housed in the home of a “top politician”. Their parents were only allowed to ‘visit them’. Soldiers guarded the girls and after some hours asked the parents of the girls to leave. On Christmas Day itself, they were denied entry to the politicians house to see their own children and on January 8, 2017 the girls were returned to their safe house and according to the New York Times “Neither the public nor their parents have been able to see them since.” No one really knows what went on with these girls since their abduction. It is all smoke and mirrors.

Think people. Am I the only one seeing this?

PoliticsRe: Nigerians React To The Release Of 82 Chibok Girls by otil1: 2:50pm On May 07, 2017
What's this one yapping about with so much anger.

For me, until those girls are allowed to share their experiences and talk freely, nobody can actually bet on what happened.

It came out that they were initially camped in a private house in Maiduguri. Who has investigated that?

abescom:
[s]Some of them are just talking trash. Let's assume the girls were not taken by any bokoharam and were just kept somewhere or that Boko haram actually took them but it was all planned by perpetrators of evil which to be honest is quite possible. But the question is :

1. Why wasn't Jonathan with all the power he had in the land while he was president not able to unravel the mystery and free the girls? Note that he had the support of all the army, police, airforce, navy, all intelligence departments, the CBN, the majority at the upper and lower chamber, the sympathy of Nigerians who wanted the girls released, the sympathy of the parents of the girls who would not have minded he shaming whoever are involved.

2. Why did Jonathan and his government claim there was no such kidnap only to come out 48 hours later to say they have the situation under control. If there was no kidnap, why the change of tone?

3. Could Nigeria's evil politicians have successfully fooled the whole world? Note, not a single intelligence department the world over has claimed there was no kidnap by Boko haram or that it was planned? Do we have more intelligence than Russia? The UK? The USA? China? Isreal and co? You may say USA wasn't supporting the GEJ government but he had ample support from China and Russia? If it was fake or planned how come none of these countries haven't said so so far?

3. BBC and many other media houses have had journalists ( I personally met one at BBC road at Ikoyi he and myself came for an interview with D1 of Kennis music unfortunately I can't share what I heard on here) doing their investigative work but none has been able to come up with your type of truth. They all must hate GEJ then?

I await your reply but off course I know no genuine thing will be said to this posers.

Point of correction please.

IPOB did not just stay at home.

There has been several nationwide 'peaceful' demonstrations with the army turning IPOB youths as shooting targets.

No less than 1000 IPOB have paid the supreme price ever since

trippy:
I am tired of hearing about those jobless cowards calling themselves biafra agitators. when their hero was captured, they did nothing. they only stayed at home behind their phone to curse their fathers. That's enough proof they're wasting their time. Is it now that Kanu is walking on egg shells that they want to start trouble? do they think the man is a fool? when he smells small freedom his brain will reset.
By the way this is a stupid thread
