Well, on restructuring, if you were awake you'll know that a lot has actually happened: Today 5th Oct, SE, WE,SS,MB meet. http://sunnewsonline.com/restructuring-largest-national-se-sw-ss-mb-coalition-meets-in-abuja/ www.vanguardngr.com/2017/10/restructuring-take-action-now-southern-middle-belt-leaders-tell-buhari/amp/ Earlier: PG Ohaneze in Chatham House London gave poistion on restructuring: www.vanguardngr.com/2017/09/declaration-ipob-terrorist-organisation-unfair-says-nwodo-chatham-house/amp/ Core North reject clamour for restructuring, opt for strong centre: https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2017/09/29/kano-katsina-nasarawa-reject-restructuring-devolution-of-power/ Buhari -Restructuring, a matter for NASS: https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2017/10/01/buhari-calls-for-restructuring-inspired-divisive-agitations/ The debate is on. The heat is on. So stop agonising about ipob's failure which is a self-inflicted injury. Watch new video released today 5th by Nnamdi Kanu through his Special Adviser, the 'Turkish diplomat'. He canvasses for: 1. No more protests in Nigeria but outside Nigeria in 3 designated locations, UK embassies world wide, Nigerian embassies overseas and UN offices. 2. IPOB to go legit by forming political party -JDP the Justice and Development Party 3. No more waving of Biafran flag, rather wave JDP flag 4. No more confronting the army and the authorities because they will shoot and kill you. No more deaths because the programme of IPOB is peaceful. Finally, he said Nnamdi Kanu and his family are fine but that he will resurface later It's a shame that Nnamdi Kanu waited for operation egwu eke and devastation of his father's house and village to heed the advise from elders including respected Prof Neabueze and the governors. Your leadership is changing (while in hiding) so don't get stuck in the old failed ways. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94dULLqT6Yg |
A fundamental flaw in IPOB is not recognising that to a achieve any goal you need to build and not burn bridges. Çursing and insulting, bragging and threats don't win you allies and that's exactly why you lost the elite and elders in Igboland making IPOB a thing for touts and the jobless. Your loss started from home by own goal. |
So you believe restructuring will happen in 3 weeks ![]() |

My brothers, can't we just adopt this counsel from the West, from a Safe and use it to the advantage of our people and our youths. Ipob rebrands IPOBN, become relevant and can even be a party. http://signaturetv.com.ng/2017/10/02/presidency-challenges-ohanaeze-on-promotion-of-peace-stability/ Presidency challenges Ohanaeze on promotion of peace, stability By Signature TV - October 2, 2017 Malam Garba Shehu, a presidential spokesperson, has appealed to Igbo leaders to see themselves as partners with the federal government in promoting peace and stability in the country. Shehu, who is the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, made the appeal while reacting to some criticisms of the President Buhari’s Independence Day speech by the Ohaneze leadership. The presidential aide, in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday, maintained that it was unfair for the group to blame the recent unrest in the southeast region on the federal government. According to him, the President’s message to all community leaders including the Ohanaeze is that they have a huge role to play in what happens in their communities and in how their youths behave. “President Buhari was not abdicating his responsibilities. He didn’t request any political leader to do anything seminal or out of the box. “All he says is, talk to your out-of-the-line-youth so that we have some peace. “Igbo leaders need not to be on the defensive for the misbehaviour of the IPOB which they rightly condemned,’’ he said. Shehu stated that the President was simply saying that the regional leaders also had a role to play in keeping their hot-headed youth in check. He said that, this admonition applied equally to leaders of every other region of the country, not only the Ohaneze from the southeast. According to him, elders from every region must step out and speak up whenever their youth go out of line, such as when the IPOB launched unspeakable diatribes against other groups of people in other parts of the country and then began to threaten violence. The presidential aide said: “President Buhari was simply calling out the regional leaders to their responsibilities, making them aware of the crucial role they can play. “This should not be seen as an attack on the Ohaneze or on any other regional leaders.’’ Shehu also reacted to other criticisms of the President’s speech, particularly the declaration that all matters of restructuring or constitutional amendment are the business of the National Assembly. The media aide reiterated the President’s line that the Parliament as a key institution in democratic governance is the proper venue for the ventilation of, and resolution of all contentious issues. “It beats our imagination that men claiming to be democrats or having democratic credentials are asking the government to ignore an elected parliament in preference to a committee made up of presidential appointees to debate and resolve constitutional issues. “You are either for democracy or for its opposite. For us in this government, democracy is the country’s chosen system of government and we are determined to deepen and uphold it. “Democracy may be slow and chaotic, but it remains the best system of government the world has got so far,’’ he added. According to him, democracy in Nigeria has come to stay and the administration will deepen it, not kill it. Shehu referred Nigerians questioning the successes being recorded by the Buhari administration so far to look at the mirror and see themselves. “We inherited a country in tatters- its economy, its security and its social relations. “President Buhari deserves credit for rebuilding what has been destroyed. “If anyone thinks this a failure, let them talk to those millions of farmers we have empowered to create riches for themselves and the nation, for whom fertilizer is available everywhere at the regulated price of N5,500 instead of N13,800, a year ago. “Let them ask the manufacturers and importers of goods who bought the Dollar at N525:00 and are happy that it is down to N360:00 and still improving. “Let them go back and read the accomplishments highlighted in the speech, to see the advancements in security, agriculture, the ease of doing business and anti-corruption, to mention a few,’’ he stressed. Shehu also condemned those he described as professional critics who were fond of attacking or criticizing meaningful government policies and programmes with the hope of being “settled’’. He said: “As for those critics who are used to being settled by successive governments, with false claims to being so-called conscience of society popping out from the cupboard on and off to drive the country towards religious and ethnic polarization, they have no other motive but to rock the boat of good governance. “What they yearn for is to be picked out to be paid to keep quiet. The Buhari government has abolished ‘settlement’. “Polarizing speeches that aggravate Nigerian against a brother Nigerian are causing damage to our democracy, rocking at the very foundation of our unity and they better not cross those red lines as warned by the President.’’ |
Eastfield1:Biko, last time Biafra picked real arms in real and guerilla warfare with Nigeria, what happened? Who is feeding you guys with this chap? Onye mere anyi ihe nke a, bikokwanu? Senseless youth with no sense of history. With benefit of hind sight, the first outing was a colossal error, now you young generation are headbent on repeating sane mistake. Bros wise up |
Problem with IPOB is that the original concept of peaceful agitation has been hijacked and replaced with brigandage. OUK clearly and severally mentioned cases of rape and snatching of people's wares by IPOB miscreants. Now the killings od Hausas that happened in ABA is still reverberating, read below. IPOB as a concept may have been lost forever due uncouth pronouncements and actions of its leaders and members. Clearly what Igbos need now is not IPOB, however way you want to look at it. I'm one of those advocating for IPOB and all it represents to just go into the cooler, hibernate. A governor has recommended that it rebounds and repents. That's a good way to go. In summary you IPOBeans killed IPOB by you actions. http://www.tribuneonlineng.com/ipob-northern-traders-suspend-business-south-east/ Adiola: |
Did anybody from Igboland tell you he is threatened or disturbed by Ipob? You guys outside are even more scared than those in SE. Chidoka has no thanks to Buhari who has just complicated a simple issue, by giving Nnamdi Kanu the relevance that he does not deserve. We had Uwazuruike and MASSOB all these while doing their side act and nobody is paying heed. Small fry like jobless and homeless Nnamdi Kanu became a major scare to the all mighty federal govt and it's army. That's a tale of shame. Throwback: |
On marble.... "We cannot build a great nation without unity at home. We cannot be a nation where people are hated, branded and then hounded and ostracized. We stand here to declare that there are no terrorists in our state; there are no terrorists in our region and we do not feel terrorized as a people. Indeed, without further argument, we do not believe that those who are asking for a restructured Nigeria or even for dismemberment of Nigeria are terrorists. No! They are not." -Chidoka |
On marble.... "Biafra as a concept can never die but I want a situation whereby it will exist in the minds of everybody as an ideological issue and not as a geographical expression. The real Biafra should be a concept for development, and economic growth through planting of more agricultural trees for commercial purposes. The concept of Biafra should be on how to achieve an empowerment strategy for our people. We need a Biafran agitation that will strengthen our industrial base and bring prosperity to Nigerians. It is difficult to talk about Biafra as a republic when the Igbo are living and have investments everywhere in Nigeria. If you go to Birnin Kebbi now, the Igbo are in the majority there after the aborigines; the same is the situation in Ogbomoso, Osogbo, Kafanchan and other major towns across Nigeria. So why are we agitating for a republic? God decided to create us as Nigerians so that we can derive strength from our diversity. " -OUK |
Blue3k:Correct guy! Ipob terrorist, we see through your fake news |
Eastfield1:You are wrong. Very! What is your level? Don't enter what you don't know. |
victor8269:Whatever is it you've typed? Am I right that you ipob youths have issues with NECO? |
Rayloverscrib:Ur busy singing one Benue when fulanis are busy grabbing you entire land and homestead. Why not sing that they should leave |
Amajerry83:Exact what I wanted to say. Hungerbad |
PureMe01:Dream on! |
Eastfield1:You! Or you no pass NECO? anyways IPOB is full of mechanics and drop outs. That corollary has now been proven here. Ndoooo o! |
FTreloaded:Talk. All talk. All curses and insults. That's all ipob is known for. You that's is not a slave, ngwa, show the way |
Eastfield1:Sold you out? We're you working with the Governors? When you are busy threatening their job and declaring no election. Even Atari be that staked his neck to sign bail bond, did you listen to him? Truth is, the entire ipob went off handle and out of control. If I were a governor, I would do exactly the same. Who is not enjoying the relative peace in entire south East now. IPOB this, ipob that as if you are the only ones that want Igbos to be free. Only a fool will bring war into his abode. Nnamdi Kanu has got first taste of what he wished for everyone. He has made his father, an Eze, a squatter. And wherever the man is squatting now, it is time for strong sober reflection. As for Nnamdi Kanu, he is a perpetual squatter. Next time choose well before you follow a man that has not built his own house |
papaejima1:All said, now he is dead. What's the gain? As if it's about Nnamdi Kanu vs Buhari. Now he's missing! A missing person! Why? Mbaka why? |
oladeebo:You spoke truth from your heart. ....but is Nnamdi Kanu offered amnesty? I'm yet to hear that. If he's not dead, they want him dead. |
BabaRamota1980:BMC is discouraging you not to watch. I just watched and it's really gr8 |
