We don't need any interview to convince us of the wickedness of that man, a drive through the city of Port Harcourt will reveal a great evil. The only infrastructural development he can try to speak of with respect to the gas turbine is still in progres yet this man who is referred to as "donatus" never stops to dish out the people's money. Let us see how far he will go in his quest for the presidency; money can buy many things and lets see if the rent in aso rock is one of them.
Phones › Re: What Is Celtel Doing? by otokx(m): 1:14pm On Nov 12, 2006
I made a very bad mistake last week by loading my vmobile set with five hundred naira. After using up their 6 free sms, its like that is all there is to it. There is no gprs service is the whole of the university of port harcourt and when i tried calling their customer care, all their agents where busy. The who can be a millionaire they had before; MTN came and chanced them, they certainly need some help from guys like me who will help them out with sound ideas but for a fee. I have an MTN and a GLO set and i must confess MTN is certainly in the drivers seat with GLO dangling on the bumper trying so hard to enter the boot. Celtel and Mtel are at the cementary with MTEL 6 foot below and CELTEL crying by the grave believing a miracle will happen.

Business › Re: Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp) by otokx(m): 6:34am On Nov 07, 2006
The alliance between Transcorp and Etisalat of Abu Dhabi, UAE for the acquisition of majority stake in the Nigerian Telecommunications has finally collapsed. Etisalsat pulled out of the consortium because of inappropriate and loosely defined terms of relationship between the two companies.

Indeed, a lot of questions are being asked as to the surival of transcorp in the post - OBJ era because even in the pre - OBJ era they are barely making progress, as a matter of fact they are walking backwards.
Politics › Re: We Need A European Leader To Fix Nigeria? by otokx(m): 6:23am On Nov 07, 2006
Colonial mentality.

No white man can fix Nigeria as it is, they have tried in the past even in private enterprises but they always abscond when the heat increases.
Investment › Re: Impending IPO Of Dangote Sugar Refinery by otokx(m): 6:21am On Nov 07, 2006
Their published accounts wont help much as many nigerians don't understand a jack about financial statements. Let me state categorically that no company is obliged to issue an annual dividend on ordinary shares which is what they will soon be selling. That N1 they say will be paid in 2007 should not deceive you, besides let me assure you that in the event they pay that N1 there will still be some tax element which will be deducted; in any case I still encourage Nigerians who are able to invest as I too will do. God bless Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Donald Duke Declares For Presidency November 7 At Inter. Conference Cent., Abuja by otokx(m): 6:13am On Nov 07, 2006
Tinapa project is still not near completion and for now its only the big multinationals that are constructing it that smile to the bank. The ordinary calabar folks have not seen any immediate return on their investment. Even in the area of job creation, how many jobs can be attributable to that project for the calabar folks eh? Someone said on this forum that calabar as at now lacks a 5 star hotel, and the fact that the Governor with all his "charisma and charm" could not attract one then e don be when one "ugility" enters the place come next year. We have gone pass the stage of oyinbo praising us. Oyinbo too they talk lie, if not why have they not come? An intent to do business is very different from actually setting up and running a business at least in Nigeria so let us stop referring to the Walmart issue; afterall vodafone abi vodacom came, saw and ran away while MTN and GLO are smilling to the bank.
Politics › Re: Why Was Peter Obi Impeached( By Concerned Nigerians Abroad) by otokx(m): 6:05am On Nov 07, 2006
He refused to play ball in general.

To the specifics as perceived by me.

He dared to think that his tenure will not end next year and even said he considered taking it to the law courts for interpretation; the PDP will not hear of that so he had to go after some more violence was unleashed on the state.
Politics › Re: The First Woman In Nigeria To Be A Governor by otokx(m): 5:45am On Nov 07, 2006
There is something wrong with the manner in which she assumed duty and I see her compromising in all areas to retain the seat; howbeit she will end up on the streets like her predecessors. Anambra state is a classic example of what happens when uneducated people abound in the political scene - "simply chaos"
