please pay your tithes (plural not singular)

well said IG

i have a lot of respect for them as i have for the president of this country; indeed they are a striking image of the state of our federal government.

sony ericsson t630 and nokia 1600

thats pretty cool olunifemi but it sounds like when the going is good; how about when things start to shake?

but what has donald duke said in all of this or is it too early for that?

the annual budget of some churches are larger than some registered companies in Nigeria who pay an income tax of about 30% so i support the taxes of churches and mosques who have assets in excess of 1 million naira.

please lets not compare Mr. Donald Duke with Mr. Jerry Rawlings who wasted his country's money in buying a jet that they did not need which the present government has just gotten rid off. But please is there not something wrong perhaps a mistake that this man has done abi is he now a spirit being. We all make mistakes as humans. The argument for an educated president does not hold water. See what the medically trained Sir. Dr. Chief. Bishop Peter Odili Ksc, Jp has done to rivers state; donating all their money to "charitable" causes. How about the "To God be the glory man" at ebeano.com who succeeded in deceiving Nigerians who watch NTA that there is progress in Enugu State.

i like the way Nigerian Breweries dumped him.

we are just being honest. there is the good and the bad side of Nigeria.

i will support him if he does his homework well.

please come to port harcourt, there are no molues here.

without tithes and offerings there will be no proliferation of churches in Nigeria. it will not encourage the mediocrity that exists in many pastors today who regard the work of God as a profession that is very lucrative. As Fela said archbishop dey enjoy, pope sef dey enjoy.

@Akolawole

How much is it to travel from Port Harcourt to Nassarawa? Wont it be cheaper to pay the inflated price of N12000. What about the risk in travelling? Corruption is a way of life in Nigeria, if the government wants to stop it then they should make the good way straight and efficient.

IAH hit the head on the nail.

i believe in the creation story

someone said choba as a village that houses the university of port harcourt is better than the town of warri, and he might be right cos there is high infrastructural development, almost constant electricity and absence of armed robbers. The social and religious life is very cool so it might well be.

here in port harcourt they seem to go off with every heavy rain.

who called for bombing? please violence is not good.

has this fresh party been registered by INEC? how did Pastor Chris Okotie get the Justice Party ticket? do you know that the Justice Party with Pastor Chris Okotie as its aspirant got the more votes in the Rivers State than in any other state even though that was very well below that of the Chief Obasanjo.

let him be more specific.

its very clear that many "christians" are afraid to rock the boat. this little discourse has revealed that yet a lot of us "christians" don't read our bibles. we should look at what happened in the early church as recorded in the acts of apostles. we were known because of the love we had for each other not by speaking in an unknown tongue in a public gathering. speak in tongues (if you really can) in your wardrobes and charge yourself up in your bedroom. i believe in sanity and orderliness, my God is not an author of confusion.

David,

I am very sorry for all the troubles you have been to in the hands of "brethren" , even as prayers offered on your behalf; always listen to the Holy Spirit that is within you which speaks better things than the blood of Abel. To do otherwise will be suicidial. Even now in I am not very comfortable with some things going on in the body of christ here in Port Harcourt, Nigeria and I tell em - till I feel peace in my inner most being I will be a spectator in their way of doing things.

we will get there in the sweet by and by

This politician should sort themselves out and not use the masses as pawns on a chess board.

Which biological weapons are we talking about. Is it the one from the awesome behind cause that is the one in abundant suppply around this part of the world. I have some for sale, really deadly; can disperse a church meeting.
