don't worry piddo, nigerians are very conservative people; they wont steal the idea because they are waiting for someone to start it first.

am convinced that the problem with the Niger Delta and indeed most of Nigeria has to do with the leaders which are always fighting for their own selfish interests ultimately.

It makes sense but whether it will sell its a different ball game. Why is the cafe market drying up in Ibadan or are you under charging your clients? What about digital instant passports?

welldone demmy; i wonder why oil companies should give contracts to unregistered companies in nigeria. when you see nigerians shouting don't bother too much because majority of them are fighting for their immediate stomach alone and can't leave a legacy to their unborn generations.

i think its high time the people demand and get the government to be accountable for the public money they use. Also the government should in turn hold the churches accountable for the money they receive by way of taxes. The masses and un - enlightened are just suffering for nothing.

This Good Friday Miracle whatever may not have any real impact on our society; infact its just another type of government magic.

Governor Attah's suggestion is not good because many of the oil producing states have failed to adequately show what they have done with the federal revenue. Any formula should be on a community by community basis. Its not every Ijaw village that produces oil by the way. This is another type of government magic.

Education › Re: The Best University In Nigeria? by otokx(m): 11:59am On Apr 10, 2006
with the exception of the pan african university which by the way offers only graduate programs, a lot of the other private universities are nothing short of advanced boarding secondary schools. the educational standards are very low while the moral standards are so high grin. I hear some of them don't allow mobile phones and if you are caught having a conversation with a member of the opposite sex you might spend a little time in their private jails. Even the census people that went to one of them private universities were not permitted to enter the students hostels. They were confined to the middle of the football field and anybody that was interested in being counted was allowed 10 minutes maximum to visit the enumerators. As a lady you wear jeans troussers and go try visit another lady friend who is a staff of that "university" , the security men will just ask you to leave. If you can bribe them well; they may allow you park your car outside the school and call your friend to have a few minutes with you outside or better still drive out of sight.
Politics › Re: Atiku For President! by otokx(m): 8:53am On Apr 10, 2006
VP Atiku is a politician that has proved himself time and again. For the records since it appears we Nigerians suffer from partial memory loos; this man secured the governorship seat in his state before dropping it to run as VP with Mr. President. The only drawback that i see is that he is not an ex military officer and that really matters. As for the christian/muslim dichotomy, that one ended on June 12, 1993.

i find the all funny. after my experience with intercellular first and reltel in port harcourt, i did not bother trying either VGC or Starcomms when they stormed the garden city because they are all the same. No apologies but their infrastructures are inadequate and fail when there is a massive request for service. There are so many hidden charges that you will only discover after you have subscribed to their services.
Family › Re: Are You An Only Son Or Daughter? Cos I Am! by otokx(m): 5:06pm On Apr 08, 2006
I am the first born and the only son of my parents so that comes with a lot of responsibility and spiritual authority. I count myself blessed to have 3 lovely sisters supporting me and i do not amount to some form of stress for em.
