A voodoo priest prophesied that they will win their first match by 2 goals to 1. |
until i see |
ivory coast lost their first match 1 - 2, angola lost theirs 0 -1, although trindad and tobago drew with sweden, i don't forsee any incredible performace from the other african teams. Infact ivory coast tried by scoring. |
very soon, lets just wait and see |
whats all this talk about? i don't expect any thing good from any of the african teams. |
togo's troubles have not yet started |
what do you mean by best african leader? is it past or present or both? |
I am also interested in this technology as I work in a cyber cafe somewhere in Port Harcourt that wants to go WIFI |
i have used norton, mcafee, avast, avg etc and will still recommend norton over the rest anyday despite its heavyness. last week my free and updated AVG got itself corrupted forcing me to reformat my windows partition. A simple insertion of a floppy disk can disable both AVG and Mcafee but Norton is always live and on although again there are some viruses that it may not readily detect. |
there are examples of church romance gone sweet |
This is another type of government magic. |

She does not love you |
i can give u guys info on what goes on in some churches here in port harcourt. |
there is an erroneous doctrine which some lazy Christians have taking to, they are taught that giving to the church, pastors is the best form of investment . They don't understand that the gospel is about things of eternal value. So they give and start counting when the next surprise blessing which they call return on investment will land and if does not come in good time they become hardened criminals moving about with a vengeance. |

He should come from any part in Nigeria preferably the North - because of the gentleman's agreement. |
i don't know yet but am biased to sony platforms |
There is plenty of hope but you gat to take it systematically and forget what is past. Have you finished NYSC? are you computer literate? do you have connections? Going for a higher degree as in PGD first before the MBA can be fun but it requires a lot of financial resources. So first get a job, to keep you busy and in shape and then make a choice whether you will want to continue in your present field of study or change to another. If ur changing to another then no need for further education in that area. keep your eyes open for government jobs and some other jobs where the requirement is just B.Sc |
I don't think so, the people that are making the loudest noise - e.g. the politicians and the kidnappers have nothing to offer. |
i don't know |
let us not go too far. For the past 6 weeks I have been priviledged to watch South African TV stations via satellite at home and I must say its out of this world. Check out the same commercials for macleens, heinekeen, MTN, always and similar products and u get the feeling of being cheated. Look at the quality of their programming and the timing and you wonder. For avoidance of doubt I am refering to public TV stations owned by the south african government like SABC1, 2 & 3 and ETV . Those people in NTA plus the private stations should hide their head in shame. |
did OBJ have a good intention for coming back? politics is a very complex situation especially the one in Nigeria. |
I have not forgotten it, this was an election that broke all religious and cultural barriers. Even Bashir Tofa if I remember correctly lost his state to MKO. |
Giving to the Pastors, Priest should be done freely under the unction of the Holy Spirt to meet a specific need and not at the request of someone. This days there is a lot of contribution and exchange of money in the house of God. Mr A lost his father so we are contributing. Miss B just put to bed, again we are contributing. Its the Papa's birthday (thats what some call their pastor) and we are contributing. Recently the pastors had to put a limit on the money we could contribute per head because it was getting out of hand. I can see them very soon putting a limit on the circumstance too. We should be sensitive to the economic situation on ground, some of the members can barely afford the transport money to and from church, not to talk of offering then u now add all manner of spurrious contributions. I wonder if the people JESUS chased out of the temple were not engaging in such activities. |
Poverty is a state of the mind which reveals itself in the way we talk, move and live. In the days of old the church was invoved in giving quality education and health care at no cost in addition to preaching the gospel. The Men of God then went about amongst the people and kept an open door policy because there was nothing to hide but now what do we have. The churches that have universities charge as much as half a million naira per annum with a quality that is still sub standard. What business has darkness and light. In a country where 95% of the populace do not have access to constant electricity, i don't understand why churches are having programs on television to the extent of it being on satellite. They should focus on things with eternal value. |
We nigerians have taken so much to the garbage of the western culture. As christians, its a terrible thing when we use the f, d and s words which are gutter languages. We ought to be different in the way we speak, dress and generally conduct ourselves. |
I'd say it tastes quite different from what am used to. |
I did not go to church but my pastor preached on the fact that many nigerians don't rest or take a vacation and end up in sickness and disease. Take out time every now and then; treat yourself to something different. |
I doubt that the rate of unemployment in Nigeria is 2.whatever %. Its in the range of 70% - 80%. The worse part of it is that most business concerns are going under due to to the absence of a conducive environment thereby making a bad situation worse. True that self - employment is helping a bit but the environment is very distressing. Take just the electricity part of it and you get the feel. |
