There is yet much to do in attracting investors to Rivers State. Port Harcourt needs a ring road of 4 lanes, Rumokoro needs a flyover. There is need to tackle the perennial flooding . With regards to waste management, there is need to tackle those Hausa guys that will open refuse bags and litter the street.

I'm from Imo state. Okorocha performed in his first term. Though the integrity of the projects he did became questionable in his second term as most of them could not even wait for him to leave office before breaking down. People we're very pissed with that.

Secondly, he destroyed the businesses of people in the guise of either building roads or mordern markets, in most cases none of these projects are done eventually.

Thirdly, his government revolved around his family members. Outside got little or nothing. Imagine tthat his wife got the contract to supply wooden desks to secondary schools.

Imo state people hates him more than anything else now.

Despite the hate, how come he still won his senatorial seat?

The Amayanabo of Abonnema, HRM, King Disreal Gbobo Owukori (VI) has given the order that those who evacuated the community due to the rumours heard, should return back, the tension was due to revenge carried out by boys incharge of the camp where they produce adulterated kerosene(kpo fire) at Obonoma community which was destroyed by those military men.

Just heard even the Amayanabo lives in Port Harcourt. The problems of south south are just fundamentally terrible.

The police operate within town while the army operate between LGA and on federal roads during election period.

That is true but, am expecting the maturity in diffusing the situation to come from the army because they are trained and not from untrained boys.

Nice expectations but the reality is the other way round, if the elders of Abonnema cannot produce the boys and hand them over to the military alongside the 2 riffles then it is a pity.

I hope this can happen in Nigeria. Nigerians will be among the happiest people in the world.

But come to think of it, these foreign election observers are liars. What they said about the Kenyan elections is the same thing they said about our elections.

And it doesn't matter if it happened eight months ago or a year ago. The issue is if we can learn from them and have people of integrity at the supreme court that would stand against the subversion of the will of the people.

Truth is we do not need those foreign observers, it is just another example of colonial mentality.

I don't trust Amaechi/Apc in River state at all, this is likely their handiwork just to create an excuse to use the military to rig the gubernatorial elections in River state simple.

You guys should stop politicizing the situation, very soon NEPA take light will be Amaechi/APC.

Yes you are very correct but, can you please tell me why when a grasscutter digs its hole you see the sand from the hole outside but, when a rabit digs its hole you can't find the sand outside?

My brother, not everybody in Nigeria is a caward.

Innocent people may have died in the first onslaught but many more will die in this second one, there should be other ways of diffusing the situation, the only people that will ultimately be worse off are the people living in Abonnema and their relatives outside.

everybody condeming the boys and soldiers left, right and center. Have anybody sat back to ask why the soldiers were killed? Soldiers go arround killing men, women and children for reasons best known to them and nobody caughs, the boys carry out a reprisal and it becomes the biggest offence committed. It will be better if we try to consider the root of issues before addressing them. Today, it is for abonnema, tomorrow may be your turn, nobody knows.

There are so many communities in Rivers State but some particular ones always like to attack Police and Military.

Same thing that happened on election day that forced the soldiers to descend on that town that has only 1 road in front and big sea at the back.

Anybody especially male below 70 years of age should just depart that place within 12 hours or be ready for whatever happens, will call my grandma after church to check how she is doing.
