Ogbeche77: The fault is with the school authorities, it just that nysc just woke up from it slumber, even if any student gain admission through remedial program, he/she needs to be regularized by jamb, the school registrars all know about this, they collect some fee from this students in the name of processing admission letter, they don't remit to jamb account.
Now that most employers are complaining to nysc of fake and illiterate corpers been sent to them, the only way nysc think they can screen them out is by using the Jamb reg number format..

its something like this, JAMB sets admission quotas for remedial programs that transit into year 1 and the candidates are advised to take JAMB and get above the minimum national score which for last year was 180. Some universities out of greed and recklessness powered by corruption will have a quota of 30 and will admit 500 students into the remedial programme out of which 250 will pass and then 200 will register meanwhile it was 30 that was approved by JAMB and NUC.

A lot of universities if properly scrutinized would loose accreditation in most of their disciplines due to simple criteria of over admission. How do you teach 400 students in a classroom meant for 50 and then expect to have a first class material therein?

There is fuel at mobile station at waterlines, total on aba road, all fuel stations on the court road/station road strech!! People should just stop lying to undermine good news!!

i stay at the university of port harcourt, you can come and find out. Even with the hosting of secondary students from all over Nigeria, they saw the darkness.
