thank You my broda. I was thinking the exact same thing. It shows how prejudiced nigerians are against drs. The issues with d previous drs strike are not so différent and d duration of both Is getting similar yet d response of d général public is extremely far apart. Its Just sad.

Hello everyone!

I have been dating this guy for a year now, both of us have jobs so I don't ask him for any financial assistance.
for sometime now I have been getting suitors, they are five in number now asking for my hand in marriage but I keep turning them down because I am hoping on my present relationship though the stuborn ones are still disturbing me with marriage proposals.

I decided to let my boyfriend know about them, the response I got from him wasn't satisfactory. From my own understanding he's not ready to settle down any time soon neither did he tell me to wait for him nor propose to me.

I am confused right now, I don't know if I should wait

Apparently,most people think that the person giving the silent treatment is the immature one however many times, its the mature ones that are forced to do it as a last resort because they are in a relationship with someone that's immature or hard headed.When ur in a relationship with someone that never listens to you even when you try to settle issues calmly, u are stuck between always having a heated argument or d silent treatment. Frankly, in this scenario, I would go for the latter. It is less disturbing to d neighbors..lol. Its not a great choice but its d better of both options. However, it should not be abused except u don't mind if d relationship ends up in a break up.

yes culturally, kneeling to apologize is symbolic to mean remorse but if u've met women that have perfected the art of deception, u will understand that even rolling on d floor to apologize for wrong doings isn't enough evidence that she has changed. My point is lets not make judgments about peoples attributes solely on cultural expectations. A lot of ladies have beautiful "take home to mama" characters but they won't do this because they weren't brought up that way; and alot of women are so respectful they can even call ur dog "uncle bingo" however she becomes d devil after u marry her.

I disagree. Women can do that or even more just because they are scared of loosing d guy at that moment; Just like a guy can go d extra mile to apologize for wrong doings for fear of losing his babe. Not necessarily because they are remorseful. It doesn't mean they won't repeat the same offence.

there's really no big deal with being a male nurse. In this part of Africa, we still have a problem mentally allocating professions based on gender. Even Up till date, some educated people still refer to female drs as nurses. If female nurses can work with both genders of patients, I see no reason y it should be abnormal for male nurses to do the same. All over d world, we see male hair stylists, male chefs n so doing extremely well. In Italy, male chefs are d norm but here in Africa, a male chef has to be a sissy.

my post was figurative. I didnt mean multi-culture Is Bad neither did i imply that identifying ourselves with our ethniciy Is wrong. I meant we should embrace ourselves as one nigeria ist n stop laying too Much emphasies on Our ethnic group as a form of identification. Tribal bigotry has already become a norm in our society whether we choose to admit It or not and a good number of nigerians still believe their ethnicity Is somewhat better than the others.

abscence of parental care May be a risk factor for delinquency but its not an absolute indication. Besides,im certain d intention wasnt to take her life. She only took a décision based on her beliefs n hoped she would still survive without d transfusion. Unfortunatly, she didnt.
