The point the op Is trying to make Is That graduates should try to think outside the box when It comes to earning a livelihood especially when white collar jobs are not forthcoming. Nobody expects You as a graduate to go and Start frying akara or cooking moimoi under a tree as many people are implying here but creativity and packaging Is the point. There Is nothing Bad in getting a relatively décent shed where people can sit to have a meal. Some people even visit companies who dont have cafeterias with proposals to supply the workers with a well packaged lunch and supply meals and pasteries during meetings and social events. The mind Is a very créative weapon if Ur willing and ready to use it |
CityNG:mehn, i'd rather Pay for a driving school than teach her myself. I attempted to teach her once but nna mehn!, when one impatient man attempts to teach a stubborn drama queen, hmmm! Na world war 3 u wan start |
Chinaimporter: [b]The solution to all this conflict is to sensitize nigerians to know the followinginasmuch as I understand your grievances , I think we should all learn to make our points noted without belittling other professions. Nobody will take the points of anyone who does that seriously as it appears to be made out of anger not facts. Most of what you stated are not totally accurate. B.Sc nursing as a 4/5 year course is done in some Nigerian universities including UI.Theres a whole lot more to pharmacy than just drug dispensation whether u choose to admit it or not. |
Yeah Geoffrey deserves it but How d heck did Ruky beat Christian and clement? I suspect foul play just to integrate a female into the top winners |
Apples grow in jos wella. I'm sure vom city gardens in jos used to cultivate it sometime ago. Not sure if they still do. Do your research well |
Preventing your children from associating with other children because of difference in religious beliefs will send a wrong message to them. U are indirectly teaching them to detest people just because they they think different even if they have other great attributes. This idea alone is the cause of the holocaust suffered by the Jews from the Nazi so its a very wrong thing to teach your child. If you teach your children the ways of the lord and it makes sense to them, u shouldn't be scared that your teaching will be corrupted by beliefs of atheists. Yes, they would have questions but if you believe strongly in ur religion, u should be able to provide them with sensible answers. |
There's a simple solution to this issue. Get a chics number n start calling her frequently in ur wifes presence. If she asks who she is, tell her its a close friend u work with.Naturally, she go para n when she does, remind her that's how u feel when when she does the same with her ex. If she is a sensible woman and she really loves u, she will stop. If she doesn't, hmmm, oga ade, there is something deeper than just exchange of calls going on btw them. |
I still wonder who really is to be held responsible for this unauthorized and unsafe construction work that eventually led to a mass casualty. Is it the preacher who didn't get the appropriate authorization to add more floors to the building, the construction company who probably didn't bother to confirm if the foundation and building as a whole would support additional floors or the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development who most likely knew that there was an unauthorized construction work going on and chose to overlook it for some reasons best known to them. I just wonder. |
semitunde: If you know what stigmatization of Ebola is causing presently, you'll appreciate the symbolic importance of fashola's gesture.exactly my point. This gesture will go a long way in curbing the fear of the public that they might still be infective and stopping the unfair treatment of the Ebola survivors. |
God bless this man. He is a leader by example. At a time that stigmatization of these Ebola survivors by many who believe they might still be contagious, he invites them to his office and takes close contact photos to show the people they are not. Weldone gov BRF. |
This isnt news na. Jona wey don dey campaign since how many months now. Silverbird tv no let us hia word again since dem Start dia "thank God for Jonathan for giving us almajiri skul" franchise |

uchedydy: In a country wia everytyn seems to be upside down, we need to celebrate those who have done well.i believe we were just lucky that d circumstances surrounding the outbreack in nigeria acted in our favour. What we're doing to curtail the spread of ebola Is not so différent from what other countries are trying to do. Only That they are encountering more résistance from their people than the nigerians because of the very poor level of enlightenment and exposure of their people. Its difficult putting people on quarantine n surveillance because infected and exposed people run away from health officers who want to help. Also,in these other countries,Ebola broke out in very rural communities and many of the infected people were being administered herbal concortions while others who presented to their clinics were being treated for other Common fébrile illnesses so it had spread to an unprecedented level before their govt réaliséd what was going on. We are Lucky the outbreak happened in cities like lagos n ph who have enlightened people who do not resist médical help. If d outbreak happened in a village in naija, im sure we'd still be having a serious problem curtailing d spread now. However, we shld still give kudos to d govt for their swift impressive response but i think nigerians in general should be given d greater commendation for not resisting surveillance and quarantine. The people of nigeria helped curtail d spread. |
Lilimax: Lagos, setting the pace on how to contain the spread of Ebola virus in West African town'si believe we were just lucky that d circumstances surrounding the outbreack in nigeria acted in our favour. Reference: Correct except for the blood loss with is a late term presentation and is a result of the destruction of the protein that makes blood to clot. At this stage it is most likely the kidneys, liver and spleen are irreversibly damaged. Survival at that point is next to zero. The body has practically no defences left.abnormal bleeding can happen as early as 5-7 days after ist symptoms. Doesnt necessarily have to be a late complication. Infact almost every patient has some level of clotting abnormality however level varies with individuals and many go unnoticed. Sévère hemorrhage Is not so Common though however very likely would lead to multiple organ failure as u rightly mentioned |
voltron: This is why I fear Nigerians greatly. There innate ability to hide the truth. UK France and US are open about the drugs they have and how they are made and the effects on their patients. But Nigerians. No they won't say a word. Tomorrow you will hear that 20 new cases have been confirmed and we would start asking questions. Thanks for asking this one now brosee, the good thing about ebola Is That its a self limiting virus which simply means That it Will run its course and eventually die out on its own so if an infected individual Is managed well enough by giving medications and intravenous fluide to control the life threatening symptoms like recurrent diarrhoea and vomiting, high grade fever, hemorrhage and so on, there Is a very good chance of survival. The medications are Just to prolong the patients life long enough for the virus to die out on its own. |
neuljosh: If naija is truly the giants of Africa, then I don't see any reason why they have to wait for US to ask them to help their neighbors. Leadership comes with responsibilities you knowthe only thing we can help them with Is ewedu |
ewedu ko, gbegiri ni. Naija wee neva cease to amaze me. I seriously doubt that she said that tho |

Different regimes since our independence with the background painting showing the state of the nation during these regimes.I love the way you depicted MKO Abiola, the shadowy figure with the June 12 tag meaning the head of state that never was. Brilliant work of art. However, in my opinion, i'd prefer an extension of the red background of the military regime to this our post military era with a progressive deepening of the redness over the years till now. That's a perfect picture of the state of the nation now |
nonxo007: 106-year old Armenian woman protecting her home with an AK-47. [1990] old soldier never die |
Cant stop laughing. And some people will start saying there is hope for this country. Our "leaders" now have so much confidence as to start robbing us in plain sight. Now that it seems the outbreak is under control, they have diverted the money to their personal "ministry". We are in deep shiit in this country |
EMEKA1MILLION: My girl is also in the camp and I kept precautive measures before she got there.guys like u dey make me laugh. I wont be surprised if na this same commandant go dey tear d babe yansh for camp and then dey tell u for phone say she be very good geh guy, babe wey go cheat go cheat even if u put hidden camera for inside dia vag.ina.
