Christianity Etc › Re: Why I Stormed Out Of The Church Today. by otunbadan(m): 3:45pm On Jan 22, 2017 |
sipsip: Now please read and judge with care and concern. I arrived the church today for the second service. After Sunday school I was contemplating if I should sit where I am or move to the front. Now I have this Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder. One of them is sitting at the back in any gathering. I don't like it. Right from time... After thinking of it for a while, I take my stuffs and move to the front row. The second row has been fully occupied. Thing is my church is a province, a fairly large one. Nobody really sits in the front row... Partly because they don't like being in the view of everyone and also because it's reserved for 'protocol'. Kinda. Keep following...
Being that I'm always in the second row, I've noticed over time that just one or two protocols sit on the first row every Sunday. It's a row with about ten or more seats. Now I don't mind sitting there cause I don't like to be at the back. Have in mind it's not the ministers or 'first timers' seat. Those one are on one side. Everyone knows. I'm sitting in the front row in the middle of worship when an Usher comes to me and say I can't seat there. "Why? I asked." he said it's for protocol. Protocol? Not ministers oo. I told him I don't want to sit at the back. Moreover no one is going to sit there. What if the church was filled up, won't people sit there? He goes to call another Usher who says the same thing.
To cut the story short, I told them since the church is now their own house, I'm leaving. Moreover, I was already getting angry which is not good for worship. I left even with everyone staring and all... Tell me, did I do wrong? Any one with such unnecessary protocol experience? Maybe I'm too much of a 'right claimer'? so if you went to us embassy or uk embassy to collect the visa you applied for, or job interview and you were told to please go to the back, wont you respectfully do so, why act different because you are in church |

cool, remember to keep the heat on, the will need it for about 10-14 days if they are broilers. give them gendox (any getamincine drug) and vitalyte, withdraw the gendox on day four, give only vitalite and water. this is done to get them ready for vaccination on day 5, that Newcastle vaccination. and also give them vitalyte oon day 6 and start another antibiotics on day 7 |

Mockinbird: It's God that made shripms. In my home town; Ijebu, we believed heavy rains with storms and lightenings produces the shrimps in large quantities. That it, God does pour the creatures into the waters from the above. As a microbiologist, you gonna need lots of algae to feed em and i suggest you look elsewhere. on this GOD's green earth...shrimp farms do exist...in vietinam and china...somewhere they are doing it. no use telling anyone its impossible...dey are selling it for about 4000 per kg...why do u think someone cannot produce it and sell it here in nigeria? |

Politics › Re: Military To Launch ‘Operation Accord’ Against Violent Herdsmen by otunbadan(m): 3:07pm On Oct 31, 2016 |
DEAR OP,THERE IS NO MR. ABUBARKAR IN THE NIGERIWN ARMY.....HE HAS RANK THEN NAME LRNZH: https://i2.wp.com/media.premiumtimesng.com/wp-content/files/2016/07/Herdsmen-1024x576.jpg?w=800
The Nigerian Military will soon launch an operation to tackle security challenges posed by herdsmen across the country, the Acting Director of Defence Information, Rabe Abubakar, has said.
Mr. Abubakar, a Brigadier General, made the disclosure at a media session in Kaduna. The session discussed the role of the media in national security.
“We are coming out with another operation code named ‘Operation Accord’ to address the issue of herdsmen clashes,” Mr. Abubakar said.
He said the military had carried out 13 operations to ensure peace and order across the country.
The defence spokesman assured that the military would not allow any individual or group to destabilise Nigeria.
“We will not spare any security threat in any part of the country, we will contain it; national security will not be compromised,” he said.
“Today, no Nigeria territory is under the control Boko Haram, no illegal flag foisted on our land.
“We will synergise with other security agencies to secure the remaining Chibok school girls, and everyone who is under Boko Haram custody.”
He urged the media to support the military in the course of its duties in protecting Nigeria’s territorial integrity and its people.
Mr. Abubakar stressed that the media remained a veritable tool of mass mobilization and enlightenment of the populaces on what the military was doing to secure the country
“Media is an important organ that we cannot ignore especially during security operations.
“The essence is to collaborate and synergise to make citizens understand what the Armed Forces is doing to keep Nigeria one as a nation.
“National security is not about guns and uniforms, it is beyond that, our concern is the safety of our citizens and their property, so that one can move freely without any security threat,” he said.
He tasked journalists to be professional and patriotic in the discharge of their duties, and desist from promoting hate speeches capable of inciting violence.(NAN)
