Romance / Re: He Lacks Confidence: Is This Enough Reason To Turn Him Down? by otunbadan(m): 8:06am On Mar 05, 2019
seekingop:
Good evening house, please I need your honest opinion on this issue.

There's this guy who has been my friend for a long time. He asked me out recently. He has very good qualities.

The issue is, he lacks confidence whenever he's talking to me thereby making him boring.
I'm thinking of turning down his request because I can't imagine myself living a boring life or are there ways I can help him improve on that?

Thanks

You will regret for a long time if u do turn him down

DavidEsq:
How do ask ppl to seek God's Kingdom as a priority and then u turn around to say they shld also seek man's Kingdom? Does he understand wat God's Kingdom is? Has he read John 6:14-15?
"When the people saw the sign he performed, they began to say: “This really is the Prophet who was to come into the world.” 15 Then Jesus, knowing that they were about to come and seize him to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain all alone".
This scripture clearly shows that Jesus had no business with politics. Why? Because Jesus understood that the rulership of this world is with Satan. Hence at John 12:31, Jesus said:
"Now there is a judging of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out". 1 John 5:19 and Luke 4:6, as well as revelation 12:9 also confirm this fact. World events around us today confirms this fact.
Jesus knew that solving the problems of this world had nothing to do with political positions and that was why at Matthew 6:9,10, he encouraged us to anticipate the coming of God's Kingdom to earth and to pray for it to come. Daniel 2:44 clearly shows us that it would come and all the governments that were foretold by Daniel prophecy have come one after the other, in the exact order as foretold. The last earthly government is very clear in that prophecy of Daniel. Man cannot rule himself: Jeremiah 10:23 and it was never part of God's purpose that man shld do so. That is not to say we shld rebel against man's government: Romans 13:1 says we shld be subject to them. It's a pity the bible truth is already exposing the deep seated ignorance of these so called "men of God".

You re talking nonsense

Religion / Re: When A Bright Intelligent Child Becomes A Struggling Adult by otunbadan(m): 9:00pm On Jan 06, 2019
Being academically smart is not a sign of success, especially in this information age. They felt entitled and didn't put enough effort in ignoring school smartness.

ikorodureporta:
Have you seen someone you knew back then in your elementary & secondary schools who was among the top students; brilliant & very promising, but now living in their past glory?

Some of them got to the university, struggled out, & for years they ain't got any meaningful job, whereas those average to poor performers then are doing very well with family, cars & houses..

This could be as a result of their star being blocked!
When a child is seen with such a promising talent, a number of people will be envious: friends, family members, neighbors, especially if that child lives in a populated face-me-i-face-you compound. Others that didn't show those early signs of greatness were never attacked, & they're still living their normal lives...just as the king saw the star of Jesus Christ & never wanted him alive
Parents should ensure that their 'gifted' children are adequately protected:
* Stop bragging with your neighbors or family members of how intelligent your child is
* Hard work should be rewarded. Any of your child doing exceptionally well should be encouraged with gifts
* Pray for your child. They also require your blessings of protection

If you are in this category of adults, just know that your life has been hacked, & you need a divine intervention

Romance / Re: She Wants To Tie Me Down With Marriage. Should I End My 2-Year-Old Relationship? by otunbadan(m): 11:11am On Jan 04, 2019
You re mad and stupid ... #ModPleaseNoBan me because I deserved freedom of expression

Driggs:
I am not ready for commitments and I told my girl to chill for some more time.. I am an ambitious young man and I must own the world before I decide to marry.. My kids must chop life pass DJ Khalid pikin..

She agreed and everything is fine.. She's not a beggy beggy slayqueen.. She works with Oando. Lately, I was robbed and my belongings was carted away.. So, I had to use her phone to contact my parents so they can know I am fine until I retrieve my SIM.

Fast forward to yesterday, my mom called and asked me about the "nice girl who has been calling her and sending her massive airtime". I was dumbfounded and just hung up.. I called Lillian and she was all teary on the phone when I confronted her saying "she just wanted to be friendly with her "mother-in-law" blah blah..

That was when I flared up. It was like rubbing salt on an Okada accident wound..

She's been calling and I am not picking.. My mom's been calling too, I guess she's explained the situation to her..

A lady that is so desperate to tie me down with marriage by doing stuffs I didn't bargain for can go ahead and tie my destiny later..

Should I flee? Should I give her another chance?

Outside the fact that they will copy and paste ... I think they should just give up that endeavor... Nokia, blackberry tried and failed... Apple is finding it not funny outside us and Europe with their overpriced phones with their OS... Let them just stick to andloid joor

TechCapon:

Chinese tech giant Huawei has at last affirmed that it is building up it's very own OS to fight the android OS in the closest future. This affirmation has at last put and end to every bits of gossip that the organization intends to build up it's very own working framework. The name of the OS will be known as the KIRIN OS. Much the same as Huawei disclosed it's very own chipset processor, the Kirin processor to supplant the Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. The organization is doing likewise with the product. This implies Chinese tech organizations are not kidding. They are endeavoring to break their reliance on American tech organizations.

China as of now has it's very own search engine. It's very own social media platforms, it's own vehicle organizations, it's very own electric vehicle new companies, it's own aeroplane makers, it's very own weapon makers, etc. In the event that Huawei wrap up it's very own OS, they'll have practically no compelling reason to depend on American tech organizations. That is if the OS is adaptable and perfect with all the ordinary applications.

Huawei Product VP, Bruce Lee, confirmed on Weibo (a Chinese social media network) that a whole new OS that will replace android in the future is “under development.”
You will recall that Huawei gadgets currently utilize the 7mm Kirin 980 processors which is more faster and powerful than the Snapdragon 845 processors. Kirin OS will first be exclusive to Huawei devices, then it will be rolled out globally.

I just received a call from my brother weeping bitterly and I've tried to calm him down but it's like I'm not making any headway at all. Please I need your advice urgently

He started dating this lady 3 years ago, though he had someone he wanted to marry but due to distance between them they had to call the relationship off even when it's clear that they loved themselves dearly. To heal the wound easily he started dating this lady in question after six months of sabbatical leave.

The lady is a Sabbath while my brother attends the Redeemed but they had an agreement (from what he told me) that church or religious differences won't affect their relationship. From his statement they agreed that they must choose another church outside theirs to avoid one feeling cheated which she accepted and to make everything beautiful between them, after their traditional marriage they relocated to another state.

Each time my brother ask the lady to get set for church she would get angry and tell him that she can't change her church. Today, as he came back home to see his family, surprisingly, the lady had gone to her church (Sabbath) with their daughter.

Though, from my findings, the church isn't his major problems but her church doctrines

He said that he would call the marriage over today. That he can't stand the doctrines practiced in his home.

Any idea on what to tell him will be cherish please.

Your brother didn't read, do no be unequally yoked .... He ia not going anywhere ... He should better stay in his marriage

Romance / Re: My Long Distance Relationship Of One Week Just... by otunbadan(m): 11:54am On Nov 26, 2018
SyberKate:
Hi

So I decided to go into a long distance relationship with this guy I have not met yet. We just met online and have exchanged pictures.

So far the relationship is just one week old and I was in a bit of a situation where I needed some money. Nothing much just about 15,000 to solve an issue.

So I asked my BF if he could assist me with the money, only for him to start saying things like the relationship is still young for me to be making demands, that what if he starts demanding for s3xx this early in the relationship.

I said I wish I could have solved my problem myself but I really need all the help I can get. He still insisted that he hasn't even met me physically and I could be trying to swindle him for all he knows.

Then I said if he feels that way then no need to continue with the relationship and it was over, just like that within one week.

So do you think I was being unreasonable to make demands this early in the relationship.

You are being reasonably ma,d
