Hope they won't say it was a fake soldier on uniform.
Please o they should find the criminal, but I can bet you that wasn't a soldier, soldiers don't take guns home, they usually have a patrol team of 6-12 people,so shooting and running away in a sienna bus is must likely the act of an impersonator

Advice Me Please,my Relationship Has Hit The Rock

Please I need your honest advice.....

I've been dating this man going to 2 years now and I don't know his house, well he's way older than I am and my problem is that...ok let me start.

On Wednesday last week, my twin sister and I told our mum we would be going somewhere but we wanted to spend time with the men in our lives.. So I packed my things and went to stay at my friends place, my sisters plans didn't work out as her bf hadn't arrived Lagos yet until next week..so I didn't know..

I waited on Thursday my man didn't call, so on Friday he called me but didn't say anything about us meeting later...so I was sad...on Saturday I made a video of my activities and my dance steps..I sent it to him...later he asked me where I was and I said my friends place, he bagan to ask me questions, where is the location, I should send him an address... I knew he was thinking I'm with a man but NO I wasn't..

My friend said I shouldn't give anyone her house address that if he wants to believe let him believe and if he doesn't then its his problem...he came to my house and met my sis and thought I lied to him because I had told him my sis wasn't around which I didn't know until I got home on Sunday...

Please what can I do as he doesn't want to pick my calls and even blocked me on WhatsApp

OP is mad but he just don know ....

Doriana2:
The ambiguities involving Dino Melaye's certificate scandal has overwhelmed Nigeria's news space. The pertinent reality that only few people talk about is: Either a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria did not graduate from a university or he graduated with an abysmal grade. It is now clear that a major part of Nigeria's  problem is the high number of uneducated and underqualified leaders occupying important political positions. This is unfortunately accompained with a populace that does not seem to care.‎
There was a recent thread of a proud third class civil engr Uniben graduate. While we admire the young man's courage to accept his subpar performance in school, we detest the idea that third class graduates should be allowed to occupy sensitive political postions. Nigerians have to realize that: ONLY excellent and qualified employers can make an organization excellent. Political positions should be treated as an important job vacancy and elections should be seen as a serious job interview.  It is because Nigerians don't pay attention to the qualities presented by 'prospective job applicants' and majorly look at tribe, religion or 'Number of Rice Bags shared' that we are in this mess of a country.
Unintelligent people would reply by saying 'Many People with 2nd class and 1st class are not as rich as some with 3rd class? They go on to proffer as an example, a detestable and morally reprehensible creature like Dino Melaye. The obvious answer is 'the ineffectual and unqualified political office holders are the cause of the failed experiment called Nigeria. The high rates of unemployment and wealth inequality are due to exactly leaders of such groups.

Another class of mentally myopic individuals would cite an example like Goodluck Jonathan, who was a PHD holder but was also mediocre as a leader.‎
The not so obvious ‎answer to this comes in the form of a parable: 'Lack of good tomatoes does not mean we should cook stew with sand'. The fact that GEJ was terrible should spur us on to properly screen our leaders (plus political parties) and request for even better qualities. We should not make the mistake again ‎of selecting someone bad just because average did not work out.
A country of 180 million people demands someone intelligent and capable to run it. Lives and futures are literally at stake. We should not take the posts of the president and senators as a testing ground for failures in school. A successful organization like first bank will not employ a third class graduate as CEO so why should NIGERIANS accept third class graduates (or complete illiterates) as senators?

TundeHashim:
many people here are just saying thrash.."shey 3rd class no be result"; "what's the fatebof 2:2 graduates?" etc..to me, this is absolute nonsense? it is a general rule of life that the best should qualify for a thing. perhaps many of u don't know the pains and agony one goes through before securing a 2:1..do u know how many night classes, afternoon classes, tutorials etc one attended before grabbing a 2:1 and one non-entity who spent his university days sleeping, drinking and f*ckn now gets a job b4 u..naturally it's painful and annoying and the OP is right venting his anger and frustration on the Nigerian system
Having 3rd class or 2.1 ... Oga the biggest and richest people in my set in uni have 3RE class,Oga I did engineering, while 2.1 and others were folding theirs hands and sitting on the fence they went forward and did courses like pdms and computer aided design, became word literate and became businessmen while the high grade people with 1970 degree knowledge sat down expecting to live happily ever after ..... Dats he reality.

EducationRe: How To Survive In A Nigerian Campus In This Recession by otunbadan(m): 3:07pm On Mar 01, 2017
@ op.....no "DO PONZI"huhhuhhuh
ItalianWine:
I have spent all of my previous semesters as a student of Obafemi Awolowo University living on campus, and witnessing both the awesomeness and horrors of students living in the famous halls of residence. Life's pretty harsh around here, I've seen people go an entire day on an empty stomach, whilst still chasing multiple lectures in multiple locations, and after it all, they return to their rooms to soak Gari in the murky "Omole water" (named after the erstwhile Vice-Chancellor), and paltry peanuts and sugar. Pile all that on top of the misery of the current economic recession and growing inflation, resources dry up fast, and students end up drained, emaciated, in poor psychological state, overall in very bad shape. It's a hard life. But you should learn to afford yourself as much comfort as possible.

1- Manage your resources

All fingers are not equal. This saying is too popular to be forgotten, and yet many students have no value for it other than to recall it sometimes when they it helps them little. There's always a lot you want, but there's only a portion of it that you NEED. You need to use a scale of preference in every situation. Your friends and neighbours may be wearing cool shirts and nice shoes to every class, looking fresh and expensive. But that's what you see, what you cannot immediately notice is the difference between what resources they have and what you have, and even what they themselves are going through beneath those cool faces.

So you have #3000, what are your needs? First, write down everything you wish you had at the moment, now pick out the ones that you cannot do without. You're running low on foodstuffs, and it may be a while till you get any more money. But you also want this really cool shoes, so ask yourself which one you cannot live without.

Also, do you know that those snacks and meals at canteens are sapping more of your resources than you can imagine? If you buy one "Gala" sausage roll for #50 and the plastic bottled 7up for #100, you've spent #150, and of that five hundred naira in your hand you have #350 left. It still feels like a lot, till you buy #100 recharge card, Sugar and peanuts for #50, and then you have #200 left. You photocopy someone's notebook for #40, bought banana chips for #50 amidst lectures, and a sachet of pure water for #10. And now you have #100 left, in just half a day.

What could you have done, you could have bought vegetable for #100, cow skin (Ponmo) for #120, and #20 locust beans. Then you could have used the little palm oil left to cook it with some powdered pepper, and you have something to eat with for 3 days! You eat "Eba" or Rice with it, you'll be fine, with about #260 left. You'll eat before going to class and you won't need the junk food!

Manage your resources well.

2- Don't suffer in silence

When you're low on cash, or you're down on foodstuffs, don't hesitate to tell someone about it. Your Parents, your relatives, your friends... If you're not frivolous with your spending don't be shy to ask when you're in need. Don't just surmise that the economy is bad, look for those who can help you, and tell them about it. Suffering in silence is the worst thing that can happen to a student, just tell someone about it, someone who can help you.

3 - Don't overdo anything

Don't overspend, over-buy, overtly stress yourself, or trouble yourself with needless burdens. Don't buy 3 things of which you need one. You probably do not need another pair of jeans. And you probably do not need an extra pair of shoes, and you probably shouldn't get it.

Don't go out of your own way to buy a girl/guy anything! Your girlfriend or your boyfriend is not your wife/husband! And that girl who's your crush is not going to fall in love with you because you bought her #1000 recharge card, in fact, she may be using your attraction to her as an advantage. Be wise.

And have fun. Carefully
