Lessons for Agbaje

The Ibos are only about 20% of the population of Lagos believe me, majority of them do not have PVCs , and those that have dont really vote.

Agbaje decide to go the Tribal way and people that were formally supporting him lost hope in him.

Whether Ibo, Yoruba and hausa, we must all learn to embrace each other.

If the tribal game continues - We might never have an Ibo President.

Lets learn to embrace each other. One love Nigeria

PoliticsRe: ‘enough Of Igbo Disruption In Lagos’ - Yorubas Outside Nigeria Speak by otunbadan(m): 2:55pm On Apr 12, 2015
Over the years especially after the civil war in 1970, there has been this notion that Igbos hate Yorubas for their perceived role in their defeat during the infamous Biafran war.

The igbo people are democratic, acephalous and highly liberal. They do not really respect elders or anybody who does not contribute to their success. They believe that what is theirs is theirs nd what is ours is ours.
Also, Igbo people are brash, sometmes proud, selfish and self-seeking. They like beating their chest to announce their achievements.

Igbos are commercial minded and usually flock to any place where business can thrive no matter the risks involved. The truth remains that Lagos as a commercial centre is home to lots of Igbo people. Many Igbo people in Lagos are law-abiding, pay their tax and mind their business. Igbo people are not so political and have continued to be relegated to the background in recent times cos of their divisive politics.
Yoruba on the other hand are the owners of Lagos even if Igbos own all the houses in Lagos, an Igbo man can not be the Gov'nor of Lagos at least for now.

Agreed Igbos would want the oba of Lagos to apologize which is a taboo to the Yoruba tradition, the truth remains that we are still one Nigeria and so should tolerate ourselves no matter our differences. Let us forget the past and move forward. Nobody is going to the lagoon and the will of the majority has prevailed.

The beauty of democracy is that the minority will have their say and the majority will have their way. Even if you feel insulted, forgive and for he that provokes, he should have a rethink so that we can move forward devoid of primordial, ethnocentric, trivial, obnoxious, odious and obscene tendencies that tear us apart. Our diversity should be the source of our strength cos together, everybody achieves much.

In case you don't know, I would like to educate you. Every land belongs to the government, every certificate of occupancy owners are tenants and that is one of the reasons you pay tenament rates on such land. Hence, igbos own no land in Lagos.
Government is not Oba government, it is the one that has the Nigerian constitution backing it.

Hence, like you stated, YORUBA owns no land, Nigeria does and Igbos are Nigerians!!!

My take on this is that yoruba land being know for he hospitality and peaceful co-existent can assure the igbos of the safety of lives, business and properties but they should also prepare to respect us in our own land and stop acting as though they co-owner of the land with us, the should stop treating with hate and disdain. If they know they cannot comply with they should go back to their land.

lalasticlala:
Soldiers and other security agents took over all major roads leading to Ikorodu on Saturday, thus disrupting the governorship and House of Assembly elections in the process.

There were at least three check points from Mile 12 to Ogolonto and other areas in the axis.
The soldiers and police officers at Ikorodu round-about delayed The Nation reporters and subjected them to serious searching before allowing them to go. Accreditation started at Ojogbe and other areas of the town around 8.30am.
Findings revealed that many of the voters may not be able to vote as majority of them registered at Ketu, Alapere, Ojota and other areas of the state.

Party supporters are using public address system to canvass eligible voters to come and vote.
Several people that queued up for accreditation were arrested by naval officers.

don't let English confuse you. . A person migrating from one place to another is also termed an immigrant
So if you left your compound and went to the next one, you be immigrant.
No law or ordinance described Igbo or any tribe in particular as immigrant, in fact the constitution which is the bedrock of this elections gave every tribe and race freedom to live in any part of Nigeria and not be described as IMMIGRANT

Prostitution, selling of fake video game discs, fake cds and dvds, fake drugs, peddling of hard drugs, piracy, selling of gala & plantain chips on the highway, selling of okrika clothing items, selling fake vehicle spare parts, importing substandard china goods, importing and exporting aba made clones etc.

This activities are very vital to the economical success of Lagos.

BusinessRe: What Business Would You Propose If You Had A Willing Financial Partner... by otunbadan(m): 8:22pm On Apr 10, 2015
Hello,
First thing in business and the most important is the "ability to look out for a need and meet it", well that is what I heard my pastor say and I so belief it.
Having said this,a major need which we have in Nigeria is Food Security. Having just finished my BSc degree in mechanical engineering from a University in Nigeria, I just got the eye opener that "Food Business" is indeed serious business.
This awareness has moved me to start first of all, a poultry farm, because this is a section of my "Food Business" which I have the resources and expertise to commence immediately.
But from my studies online, I was able to discover that a large percentage of the frozen food we eat in Nigeria is gotten all the way from Brazil, China, Argentina and the United States of America. However, the Nigerian law actually prohibited this kind of trade.
After kin investigation about my Food business, starting with a poultry, I want to achieve and actually grow my functional poultry farm to the extent of providing frozen and processed chicken to the Nigerian citizenry. Having done kin investigation about transportation and preservation techniques which this developed countries use to bring these products to us, I am deeply convinced that the distance of Enugu to Lagos, Enugu to Abuja, Enugu to Port-Harcourt or any other Nigerian city and metropolis is closer than the distance of Lagos to Brazil or United States of America or Argentina or China. The issue however is to make this trade between the parties involved conducive and profitable.
I could actually be in Enugu and other parts of Nigeria with relative closeness to raw materials required to raise the birds and go into large scale processing which I could sell in major cities and towns all over Nigeria frozen and processed.
Upon request I could make available my business plan to this effect. I am not talking about giving me a 100 million Naira, I am talking more about giving me "seed" financial backing to expand and increase my present productivity, which I would grow to achieve basic targets which will be set from time to time in the growth of the business. By doing so I would be expanding the size of my poultry farm, amount of birds present and would definitely be employing helping hands because I can definitely not do this alone.
At this moment I have about four people whom I employ and they add tremendous value to our business but we have an aim to grow higher and bigger, and employ more and create a stream of income for processors, drivers, store owners and every auxiliary person in the supply line of our business.
