But slight correction though, even if the pulp is infected, the tooth can still be saved with Root Canal Therapy rather than extraction.

Yes it can. A procedure called Root Canal Therapy will be carried out. It involves removing the sensitive parts of the tooth (the pulp) and filling it up with a substance called amalgam. After this is done, the enamel will need to be covered with a substance called crown.

I’ve gone through the procedure in 2017. It saves the tooth.
