I have sat her down many times and I even pleaded with her to delete my number from her phone. She said she has deleted it from her phone but can`t erase it from her mind. She had tried many times not to call me but she herself dont know what is pushing her to keep pesting me. Please how do I help myself to help her. I dont see myself ever falling for her.

There was a particular girl who came into the neighbourhood when we were still very young. She was a teenager while most of the boys in the hood were in their early twenties. She was ripe and everyone wanted to be her man. Somehow we became friends. I left the neighbourhood without leaving her with a contact. She got my contact and kept calling. Sometimes I asked her what I meant to her and she will say that I meant everything to her. She could call for hours without been bothered about the cost of the calls. she will even send credits to me to call her and end up being the one  calling.  I could still remember that I told her in one or two of those calls that I can only be her friend and never meant to be her lover.

Now that we are grown ups,I have tried in many ways to discourage her from calling me and encourage her to find another guy but she wouldn`t.she said that she can`t fall in love with someone else. I told my friend about her and he said that what she needed is hard banging(sex) and she will leave me thereafter. I tried it  instead of making her to hate me,the love now increased. Many years have gone and she wouldn`t still change. she said I am the only man she has ever love and she is only asking me to reciprocate.I have tried in many ways to offend her so that she can leave for good but she wouldn`t. whatever I do to get her offended will never mean anything to her instead it will give her more joy. I have been very rude to her but to no avail.

She is  now in her mid twenties, many years have past she wouldn`t just leave. I thought she will get over me with time but the reverse is the case. I believe if she read this piece she will just laugh over it. Elders of nairaland what should I do to get her off as I don`t want her to waste her time leaving in fantasy.
